This volume was wayyy better then the past ones! So now its past the anime and new things are coming. Ebina and Taihei's romance and Umaru's new rival are so interesting and funny to read about i just can't wait! Unfortinatly my library doesnt have the next volumes so Manga reader comes to the rescue once again!

It’s nice to see Umaru’s camaraderie with the other girls, but the humor has sadly been lacking for me over the past few volumes.

Umaru is hanging out with her friends more, and more; and even her inner voices are starting to wonder if lying to her friends and keeping multiple identities is a good idea.

And once again, Hikari is saved for the end of the volume for ultimate cliffhanger drama.

This series has 12 volumes.

As always, I enjoyed this so much as a relaxing read. 4.5/5 stars.
I was surprised to find that the mangaka had teased at something big that other fans had been suspecting/asking about for a long time, and I feel that, while it wasn't the way I imagined Umaru would present it (sorry, I'm trying to not give away any spoilers as much as I can), I feel that with more time she can stretch out her wings and fully be accepted as the wacky, lazy person that she is. I'm so glad the mangaka acknowledged this and hope to see what more he can write/draw.
Also, that surprise ending! (Well, not so much if you've watched the second season of the anime, but still!) Definitely hoping for the best for another addition to the friendship circle.
At this point, I highly recommend for those who enjoyed the anime, those who want some slice-of-life comedy and relatability in their comics, and those getting into manga and anime.
(And if any parents are concerned, by this point in the series there really isn't anything I've found in particular that is concerning. This is a laid-back kind of story that I hope the younger generation can learn to love, especially since this has many references to memes and just all-around modern-day "nerd" culture. I give this the thumbs-up)
