I only finished the first third or so of this book, when I was testing the waters of programming. I found parts of it to be easy to follow and others to jump to terms and technology that I didn't think was completely established yet.

So far this book was a drudge to go through. My teacher told me most of her former students have that feeling. But later on they start to enjoy it as a valuble look up resource. Only time will tell
