USA Today™ best-selling author Elizabeth Lennox writes contemporary romance novels featuring sheiks, business tycoons, royalty, and other sexy rich men. Her male lead characters are smart, driven and determined, but can still be sensitive and vulnerable. Elizabeth’s female lead characters come from a variety of backgrounds. They are strong, intelligent and independent, while still feminine and caring.
Although she wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a reality for her in 2009 and a full time job in 2012. Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. To date, she has written over eighty books and sold over 5.1 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 8 million times since 2013.
Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.
This is a super light and fluffy read. It's not one I'll remember and I have read this before, but it did the job of relaxing my mind.
The heroine is a tad childish, luckily I was in a mood where she had me rolling my eyes, rather than wanting to (at least in my imagination) bang my kindle against the table in frustration and annoyance. That being said there were moments where her father annoyed me a little - lord he could be a drama queen.
Cricket and Ryker. Cricket's parents have an unorthodox way of making a living and they taught her all they know. She doesn't use her skills to steal though, just to annoy her jerk off boss. For weeks she's been eye-f*cking with a man from the building across from hers. But she's too shy to engage in an actuall conversation, until he steps up his efforts so get to know her. Ryker can't figure out why she is so resistant to his charms, but he is smitten and he knows it is worth the effort. Just when Cricket is falling for Ryker, her father shows up and warns her away from him because he's a lawyer and therefore connected to law-enforcement. I got really ticked off at her father as the story goes on. I thought he was a selfish jerk. I think I would have given this another star if the ending resolution hadn't been a bit of a cop-out after all the buildup. Still it was a cute epilogue and I did enjoy the story and the characters.
Corto, sencillo, ligero, entretenido.
cricket was a mysterius woman with good heart, she actually a shy woman and she met the gorgeus ryker...
ryker was the oldest from the brothers but hes very selective with his women, then he met cricket...the way she look made him hot all over and hes tried to getting close to her , he stalked her and seduced her
the scne were hot as hell, and i really do like this one
I didn't read first book in the series yet because I'm not that interested in the plot, but books 3 and 4 are weird after reading the second one. Like we got the bar scene, it's in every book. Ryker and Cricket get together for good around a week after that. I'd say it's before the lunch or whatever that was in Kiera's book but during that lunch Cricket was acting like they're not together and as if they're practically strangers. And Ryker goes to Ash's house, gets wasted and spends the night there. Autumn and Xander are together for good as well but he also spends his night there. Like I said in Xander/Autumn's review, I get that Elizabeth Lennox had to write the books without spoiling the rest of the series but having them happen so close together timewise makes it look messy. What's worse is that the ones later in the series get more messed. I don't know if EL started actual writing in reverse order but it just doesn't make sense that Axel and Kiera, Ryker and Cricket and more than the others Xander and Autumn got together, admitted their feelings and kept it secret from people closest to them for no reason at all until Ash and Mia's wedding when it all came out and the three pairs revealed their engagements. How are Thorpes close at all?! How are Mia and Autumn friends?

This is the 3rd book in the series and it was fantastic. Ryker saw Cricket every morning and he was fascinated by her beauty and shyness. Cricket’s parents were thieves so she worried getting involved with Ryker could lead to them being arrested because he was a lawyer. I love the way the author has tied the stories together. Great epilogue. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I liked the cloak and dagger meetings mentioned in this book and also the way Cricket upsets her boss. It was interesting book. A little slow. It could have been funny. I wish it had some funny moments.
Love this series! We know Cricket and Ryker from the first two books. This was a wonderful way to meet them from the beginning. The have a very interesting meeting and romance. I loved the banter.
Being the daughter of a thief makes it tricky when an esteemed lawyer decides to romance you. Sigh, so very delightful. I love how he went after the girl, even though she is kind of shy and not his usually type.
This is a mixed narrative giving both lead's POV. I loved getting into their heads. It is fun being on the inside and seeing their dynamic take shape. Such a fun couple.
Yummy steam here!! Oh yeah, the bedroom door is wide open and deliciously detailed. Oh girl, you will need a cold shower!
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Susan Eichorn Young, who is delightful. I have loved her on this series and how consistent her voices have been. She has a terrific pace and wonderful energy at all the right moments. The transitions between characters are smooth and easy to follow.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and can not wait for the final book! This has been such a fun read with engaging and dynamic characters!

3.5 Stars Ryker & Cricket To me Cricket is a nickname not a first name but for some reason I love her name. This has nothing to do with the story just saying. I loved the first chapter introducing Cricket. I also enjoy that the two are both infatuated with each other prior to knowing each other it's is cute. ***OK I am going to say this again with this author*** she writes such a good story but here we are again with a virgin. This one extremely shy! And boom sex second time they interact without actually hanging out the second time. Get real it's annoying. I don't care if a characters a virgin I actually like that. I do not think someone who's waited years is gonna slut it out on date/encounter #2. I really do love this authors writing style and interactions with the characters but take some effort in to character/relationship development. I write my reviews while I am reading so I am not done yet but I can almost guaranty love within days. It's stupid. (& I was correct on that guess also) I enjoyed the end of this book, I thought Crickets father was sort of a jerk not to mention way to overbearing for the age if the character. Good HEA for me. I love this author I love this series I am VERY excited for the last book with Xander and Audrey.
Cricket Fairchild is an accountant but her parents occupation brings her not to trust anyone. She dislikes her employer so she uses the skills that she has acquired from her parents training to play innovative jokes on her boss from stealing his pens, rearranging his pictures and paper wrapping his office items. Every day she looks forward to seeing the very handsome guy with piercing blue eyes going into the building next to where she works.
Ryker Thorpe, the eldest of the Thorpe brothers, has an obsession with the female who crosses his path everyday and has made it his mission to take her to dinner. Once he finally has Cricket in his life, he now wants to make her his wife.
Cricket's father is giving her problems with the man she has fallen in love with due to the fact Ryker is a powerful lawyer with connections to law enforcements globally. Cricket is torn between the man who has her heart and protecting her parents from being brought to justice due to their occupations.
This book is so creative and fun and the humor is excellent. My one major complaint is the fact that Elizabeth Lennox mixes up two of her past characters on of which she brings back in this book. She mentions Mitch Hamilton in this book (from "The Intimate Intricate Rescue") but says he's from Virginia near Washington D.C. and that he married Chloe when that is really Mitch Sargent (from "The Billionaire's Impulsive Lover) and if she meant Mitch Sargent instead of Mitch Hamilton like I think she did then his company should be called Titus Securities instead is Hamilton Securities. So other than the fact that she kinda meshed two of her previous characters together I have no complaints other than my usual complaints about her typos and grammar mistakes. I love this book. It's one of my favorites by Elizabeth Lennox and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys easy-to-read HEA love stories.
Don't get me wrong, this tetralogy is amazing. I love reading book series about brothers, even better if they are about 25-35 years old and even better with virgin heroine.
The story was OK, both personalities were great (again). I heard there is lot of sex (in bad way). I disagree, sex was OK. But what bothered me was very quick action. Don't get me wrong, I am not a puritan and I love reading about virgin heroines and their first time, but if she lose her virginity after one meeting and one kiss, even though she is extremely she, that is just weird. Maybe nobody can not resist the Thorpe brothers :).
But I enjoyed this story as much as previous and I am very excited to get to read about famous Xander and his lady :).
ok i love love love this series about the thrope brothers well done Ms Lennox so cannot wait for Xander's story. Ms Lennox if you read this and you need someone to review Xander's story early like wink wink nudge nudge i'm here lol
What can I say cricket is awesome funny and u really understand the wanting to have everything but finding it hard for the love of her life or parents but it comes good at the end when yet again we end up with the first book out of this world
My favourite of the series so far. You have the daughter of a pair of famous thieves and a lawyer, you have a pain of a boss who is having his pens stolen and all in all what you have is a love story that will make you laugh.
