The fight to survive for Link and Grace continues in Badass-Shattered (Book 4).
Link is a hot billionaire that guilt eats alive that he's still living and so many of his men died. He's given all the families money to help with their grief and medical bills. Someone is killing everyone that was on that mission with him, so him and Grace are on the run!
They've made it to his cabin and even though he knows he's not safe, he's got every imaginable security measure in place should they find him and Grace!
This was an amazing book and thank goodness it's a novella, so it's a quick read! Grace and Link have gone through so much together, how much more could they take? This book will having to saying "awww" to "grrrr".
Looking forward to reading the next installment of this story!!

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson.This is book 4 of the Shattered series by the authors.
Duff and Grace finally make it to his cabin and think they are safe for a little while but Duff knows better. He knows even though he cares about Grace he has to leave her to keep her safe. Grace feels the loss of her family when they watch tv and hear her grandfathers words. Now they are on the run again and still do not know who is targeting Duff.
Action, adventure, sex and bad guys are in the awesome story. This is for mature suspense readers.

Wow. Leslie Johnson and Ellie Dawson continue to surprise me at every turn. These two are an incredible match and I really hope they continue to work together for years to come.
Badass-Shattered is the perfect title for this amazing work of art and it left me feeling exactly as the title says shattered. This book is so full of emotions it truly is like a non-stop roller coaster ride. It just so happens this is one you won't want to get off! The connection that these two amazing authors were able to create between the reader and the characters in the story is nothing less than magical. From beginning to end I was so wrapped up in Link and Grace's story that everything else literally fell to the wayside.
In the fourth installment we find Grace and Link on the run once again. Things have changed significantly and Grace can feel Link starting to pull away from her. The emotional pain that Grace goes through is so incredibly heartbreaking that you just want to reach out and wrap her in a hug and never let her go. For an author(s) to be able to evoke this response from a reader is truly a gift and a skill. We often find so many authors now rush through their manuscript and it translates into the story. I didn't feel this way at all the storyline was impeccable, it flows well and it grabs you from the start and doesn't let you go. We end up learning so much about the two characters in this book and it is starting to become incredibly clear that the connection between them, regardless of how short the time has been is genuine. Something neither of them has experienced in the past.
We are left with a major cliff hanger at the end and it has me itching to find out exactly what is going to happen next in this incredible story.
If you haven't had an opportunity to experience this magnificent series please take some time to check it out you will not be sorry!

Book 5 of the Badass series continues to be filled with suspense, combustible chemistry and kept me burning through the pages. I could not put this book down. Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson have done a fantastic job of keeping the twists and turns of the plow completely unpredictable. As these books build off one another, they should definitely be read in order. Be warned, once you start reading any them, you will be dying to find out what happens next and will burn through the entire series!
In this story Billionaire Playboy Link Duffy is far more than meets the eye. His public persona is being televised everywhere, while his special forces training is the only thing keeping he and Grace alive. They are on the run and everywhere they turn might be the end for them. Will they make it to safety? Or is safety just another illusion?
The next book cannot release fast enough! I can't wait to see what happens to Link and Grace!

Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson, this series is slowly tearing me apart.
Again I was almost done this book thinking it was the last book, and wham I get to the end and see that there is another book, which made me so happy as this book series could not end this way.
Knowing the attack is eminate, Link and Grace prepare to escape and protect themselves. On the run from who knows who, Link and Grace make it outbut this gives time for Link to start thinking while they are driving, this is not a good thing, as Link thinks that it will be best if he leaves Grace, then she will be safe from himself and from whoever is after them.
Words cannot describe the feeling at the end of this book, bring on book six.

I could not put this down. Link and Grace continue to be on the run for their survival. While in hiding at Link's mountain mansion, Grace learns that Link has prepared for any situation. She also gets to watch a memorial service in her honor back in Tennessee. After leaving to return to Tennessee, Link make a gut wrenching decision that changes both their lives and vowing he will find who has killed his friends and get his revenge. This is great fast read series. Can't wait for the next book in the Badass series. I received Badass Shattered as an ARC from the author for an honest review

When I read this book I felt like I was right there with Duffy and Grace. I was cheering Duffy on when he practiced running up the hill with his prosthetic leg and dropping into a roll when he fell. I was panicked when the intruders were coming. No, I didn't want to leave the safe room. Let's just stay here. The words were so descriptive throughout the book I could almost smell Grace's chicken and dumplings cooking. The plot was fantastic. The romance was hot. Wow! What a book! Thank you Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson for making my day a whole lot more exciting!

A fascinating series with suspense and a smidge of romance, however it feels like it's dragging on a little. With the prequel this is the fifth book and there is one more left. Seems as if a full novel would have been better. The details of the safe house in the mountains are quite clear and very specific, I love details. I can definitely appreciate how Link is feeling guilty for having funds needed to survive this attack. The story is well written and quite exciting, just be prepared to be left wanting more. My copy was given for my honest review.

This book picks up where the previous ones left off. The relationship between Grace and Link continues to grow until the end when it takes a major change. I really hope that the change will be a temporary one.
I really love this series. I never know what the next chapter is going to bring. I cannot wait for the next book to come out.
Every twist and turn is worth the read.

Love, love, love this series! Each book has suspense, hot, and funny scenes.
Link and Grace have made it to Link's cabin in the mountains. Will they be safe there? Who's after them?
The writting is fantastic and this book flowed seamlessly. I read in one sitting.

Linc and Grace are hiding. Linc wants to keep them safe, Grace is nervous. What's going to happen? Will they find them? In order to find the answer you will need to read this book. I have enjoyed the books immensely but I'm looking forward to its conclusion. Will Linc and Grace have their happy ending?

With having to fight to survive Link & Grace make it out alive but still there are questions that link needs answer too. With finally heading home to Grace's hometown, Link does the unthinkable and Grace is devastated. Link wants Grace safe and will doing anything to keep her safe, can Grace ever forgive Link for his betrayal.

I wanted to get to the end of this book before I wrote a review.
Awesome!!! I am anxious for the next book(s) to find out what happens between Link and Grace and the people trying to help them and the ones trying to kill them. I just felt like I was part of the story.

I love the series. Great writing and insight into what a military Delta force might really be like. Don't like the continuing series of books and waiting to get the next chapter but I will wait patiently or not
