This was a pretty fun read!
Shinchi Izumi is attached to a parasite in his right arm and well things go south when we see him trying to live with it and trying to kill it but is content later as they seem to live well together but when other Parasytes start showing up, can they team up to stop them and also some intelligent Parasyte seem to be emerging like the ones named Tamiya and A-chan and what will happen then...
Its an interesting manga and takes this premise and does really well with it showing the carnage these parasites can bring and I love the character exploration and the way with which the author expands on this myth and shows thee monsters and explore different themes based on them. Some pages are so creepy and look horrific and delivers on its premise. A must recommend!

Baru 'icip' vol.1 saja (^o^)/ rating dan review dapat berubah bentuk kayak parasit~ XD
Gambar : 3.5 bintang...Iwaaki-sensei ini seperti spesialis gambar-tak-bergerak ya (シ_ _)シ maap jika aku lancang...
Tapi bukannya ga bagus, karena Doraemon juga tipe gambar seperti itu [imho] ^ ^ hanya saja untuk cerita aksi lebih enak jika gerakan bertarungnya terlihat "bergerak" antar panelnya (^ . ^)
Yang aku suka, ekspresi manusianya — yang menurutku juga khas Iwaaki-sensei — yang terlihat kadang tanpa ekspresi, kayak bengong gitu, tapi matanya serem...seperti menyembunyikan "kegilaan" XDD
Cerita : 4 bintang...seru! Aku suka bagaimana keributan soal serangan cincang itu masih terkesan misterius bagi umum, yang membuat Shinichi merasa bersalah sekaligus ga berdaya, takut dikira orang gila~
Konsep "parasit gagal" juga menarik.., kegagalan bukan berarti langsung "tewas dan lenyap", tapi si parasit bisa beralih ke bentuk lain (^ ^) Migi keliatan lucu waktu berbentuk kepala bermata + tangan + kaki jongkok --> jadi kayak boneka alien XD

Not my cup of tea.
Aduh. Udah jijik-jijik di bab-bab awal waktu parasitnya masih berbentuk semacam cacing terus masuk-masuk ke telinga manusia. UWEGH. Rasanya udah ogah lanjutin baca.
Tapi pas udah jadi "Migi", lama-kelamaan saya merasa parasitnya itu lumayan "imut" juga. Mungkin terbawa sifat Migi yang seenak jidat hohoho~ Lucu(?) ih si Migi~
Tapi tampaknya udah cukup. Hoho. Kayaknya gak bakal saya baca kelanjutannya lagi.

Mungkin efek dari nonton drakor Good Doctor, jadi saat melihat komik Parasyte kupikir akan berkutat dengan dunia kedokteran. Ternyata, salah karena isi komik ini lebih mengarah ke cerita monster yang sarat dengan darah.
Sesuai dengan judulnya, parasit menyusup ke dalam tubuh manusia menguasai otak dan menyerap sari makanan. Meski tetap mempertahankan bentuk tubuh manusia yang disusupinya, mereka tetap dapat berubah bentuk menjadi monster. Buruknya, mereka menjadi teror pemangsa manusia yang sulit terdeteksi.
Rasa jijik hampir terasa sepanjang membaca Parasyte, apalagi saat Migi muncul dengan mata menonjol di tangan kanan Shinichi Izumi atau ketika aksi memakan manusia ditampilkan. Tetapi bagi yang suka ketegangan, kisah Shinichi Izumi yang harus berhadapan dengan parasit lain, cocok dibaca dan dinikmati.
"... Sekalipun punya kekuatan yang begitu hebat, mereka tidak bisa hidup tanpa meminjam organ dalam dan organ pembuangan manusia. Bagaimana pun juga, mereka adalah parasit dan akan mati jika terpisah dari bagian tubuh yang lain."
Sesuai dengan judulnya, parasit menyusup ke dalam tubuh manusia menguasai otak dan menyerap sari makanan. Meski tetap mempertahankan bentuk tubuh manusia yang disusupinya, mereka tetap dapat berubah bentuk menjadi monster. Buruknya, mereka menjadi teror pemangsa manusia yang sulit terdeteksi.

Estamos ante una obra de arte, del gore y del manga japones. Parasyte, la Vi en película animada y hace poco me enteré de que hay una versión cinematográfica realizada con actores. Pero antes de leerla decidí leer el manga como es debido.
Está historia en sí, es una ficción que nos cuenta la invasión de unos parásitos, una especie de gusanos que llegan del espacio y se instalan en el cuerpo de los seres humanos, nuestro protagonista Shinichi libro atrapar a uno, pero de manera misteriosa se instalo en el brazo derecho del ser humano, lo que lo hace muy particular.
A lo largo de este primer volumen y en 9 capitulos vamos entendiendo como Miggy convive con Shinichi y también comprende como son los seres humanos, aunque el principal objetivo de Miggy es proteger a su contenedor para poder vivir. En el caso de Shinichi siendo estudiante de bachillerato se da cuenta de que convive con una especie rara, que Lee y aprende rápidamente a buscar y saber quién es, pero además tiene una forma de alimentación distinta que proviene de la sangre. Algo muy interesante ante el canibalismo que ejercen los asesinos trituradores.
En esta historia, el toque oscuro, el humor, la sangre y también la ciencia ficción concluyen bien en una situación que podía ser la invasión de otros seres y la destrucción del mismo ser humano. En 273 páginas vemos detenidamente una historia más que futurista, destructora que provoca miedo y que está raza busca de una u otra forma acabar con los seres humanos para poder vivir.
La evolución de los personajes, los dibujos y el elemento de oscuridad y sangre, hacen una delicia perfecta a este manga y bueno ahora quiero leer los próximos volúmenes y ver muy pronto la película que me falta ver.

Hayato has been wanting me to read this series for ages. It's his favorite manga of the hundreds he's read and after reading this first installment I can see some of the reasons why. I love how Migi changes little by little visually from this terrifying alien parasite to a strangely cute curious being. This transformation is not absolute, however, and you can often still see the potential for destruction peeking through.
I also like Shinichi as a main character much more than I expected to. I don't know why I expected someone akin to Shinji from Evangelion but I am very happey I had misplaced expectations in that regard.
I really look forward to continuing to see what Iwaaki does with the larger thees of humanity and nature in future installments!

Parah. Pantes dilabeli "Dewasa", kontennya gory. Banget.
Udah nonton live action yang part 1-nya. Kayaknya masih belum tertarik lanjut part 2, mau ngikutin anime-nya aja. Kayaknya sih ada beberapa bagian yang diubah di versi live action-nya.
Semoga bisa ngikutin sampe vol terakhir deh, nggak kayak Kimi ni Todoke sama Koro-sensei yang gagal dikoleksi -_-

Parasyte vol 1 dengan fun-tastis membuat pembacanya menyelami cerita.
Harus diakui, manga ini terasa lebih intens daripada Tokyo Ghoul. Lebih dark. Lebih mencekam.
Si komikus juga dengan apik membuat pembaca punya ikatan batin dengan si tokoh utama.
Akhirnya setelah membaca selesai vol 1. Ada dua pilihan.
Menunggu vol 2 diterbitkan LC atau membaca di internet. Arrgghh.

Geli geli tegang gimana gitu. Jepang memang gila deh soal imajinasi. Jalan cerita bagus dan yang awalnya jijik lama-lama penasaran tapi tetap ga kebayang nonton filmnya.

Wer den Anstoß gab, bleibt unbekannt. Es ist von einem „Jemand“ die Rede, der unzählige Parasiten auf die Erde entsandte. Die Kugeln sehen ein wenig wie Kastanien aus, aus denen kleine Würmer entschlüpfen, die sich einen Menschen als Wirt suchen. Dort versuchen sie, das Gehirn ausfindig zu machen, um den Menschen zu kontrollieren. Bei Shin´inchi Izumi schlug der Versuch fehl und der Parasit verblieb in seiner Hand.
Das Besondere bei den Parasiten liegt darin, dass sie aus welchen Gründen auch immer, den Menschen frei verformen können. Dabei können sie allmögliche Formen annehmen und diesen sogar härten, so dass sie Messerklingen nachahmen können. Nun entwickelt die Hand des Jungen ein Eigenleben und kann sich ebenso verformen, was zu sehr skurrilen und merkwürdigen Situationen führt, die mitunter auch sehr komisch sind.
Es handelt sich um ein Manga, der klassisch von links nach rechts gelesen wird. Als kleine Besonderheit sind bei einigen Kapiteln die ersten Seiten koloriert. Für einen Manga ist „so viel Farbe“ sicherlich ungewöhnlich. Ansonsten ist er wie gewohnt in Schwarzweiß gehalten.
Fazit
Es ist ein sehr ungewöhnliches Szenario. Nicht, dass Außerirdische sich in den Gehirnen der Menschen festsetzen und diese übernehmen, das Szenario gibt es wohl zuhauf. Ich meine eher, dass sich eine Hand selbstständig macht und Zwiegespräche mit dem Wirt führt. Und dass sich die Wirte beliebig verändern und morphen können. Beides ergibt einen sehr interessanten und ungewöhnlichen Manga.

Conheci esse mangá inicialmente pela adaptação da Netlix, e como quase tudo que está lá, houve uma boa amenizada na história que se tornou mais colorida por assim dizer.
A história original é mais carregada no drama e no gore por Iwaak que não tem absoluto pudor em arrancar emoções como asco e revolta de quem lê. O motivo para isso é simples, Kiseijuu trata sobre o que é humanidade e quão frágil é essa construção.
No primeiro volume somos apresentados a Shin, um rapaz que ao ser atacado por um parasita alienígena, sofre uma transformação incomum e vira uma espécie de simbionte. Esses sete primeiro capítulos mostram como a mentalidade de Migi difere da humana e como isso termina influenciando seu hospedeiro.
Recomendo.

Un primer tomo introductorio donde nos da un poco de contexto de lo que nos vamos a encontrar en la historia.
Shinichi es nuestro protagonista y el que posiblemente recorra todo el manga. Mingi es un alien que se le queda atorado en la mano tratando de llegar al cerebro.
Todo comienza una noche en la que aliens o parásitos tratan de llegar al cerebro de muchas personas para comer a los humanos y así alimentarse.
Me parece un buen primer tomo, te demuestra lo que necesitas saber para entender la trama.

La historia no es nada mala, pero tampoco me ha atrapado tan cañón.
Definitivamente es buena y plantea debates humanistas muy bien. Por ahora no hay ni clichés amorosos tan notorios y cosas así.
Las 4 estrellas son por el arte, que está de sobra decir que los japoneses están cañones con el horror y lo visceral. Eso sí me encantó.

Really good! It is a bit gory, just so you know, (decapitated people, impaling, heads flying off, etc.) but it was really good. Very interesting premise, and I enjoyed this one a lot. There's a lot of story and action in this to digest as well.

I thought this was an incredibly well done Manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki! I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. It kept my attention the whole time, and I read this in about an hour. Very amazing art work and story line!

Very interesting premise. I liked how the world reacts to the parasites. They just live there life as if it's normal. I find that to be realistic.

Covernya ciamik. Dan levelnya gore. Not for kids, jadi tolong diliat lagi udah ada label dewasanya lho. Gambarnya nggak seperti komik shoujo zaman skrg yg bulet2 unyu, malah bisa dibilang biasa aja, tapi ceritanya menarik dan JELAS terpampang tanpa perlu blur2an. Sesuai judulnya, Parasyte, ttg makhluk entah apa, mereka sendiri juga gak ngerti, tapi bentuknya mirip cacing atau ular yang masuk ke dalam tubuh manusia, terutama lewat lubang telinga atau hidung. Lalu mereka akan mengambil alih tubuh manusia itu dan untuk makan, mereka memilih manusia. Again, gore. Tapi bagus. Worth to read. And worth to keep.

Menegangkan.Baru menjelang akhir ceritanya jadi seru.Parasyte ini tak kalah gore dengan Tokyo Ghoul.Tubuh-tubuh tercerai-berai dan berubah menjadi menyeramkan.Darah berceceran dan tubuh manusia dicincang begitu rupa.Sepertinya para parasit ini sangat curious tentang manusia dan asal mula diri mereka sendiri.Gaya bertarungnya sangat khas.Para parasit ini juga tidak berperasaan dan egoistik.Migi dan Shinichi pada akhirnya membentuk hubungan aneh.Mirip persahabatan antara parasit dan inangnya.Dua orang dalam satu tubuh saling bekerjasama.
