The book this devotional was based on was pivotal in my Christian life and so I picked up this devotional at a garage sale years ago. Just got around to using it this month and was truly impressed. It was a great review of the book content and the questions and biblical references were very thought-provoking. This was a cut above the normal devotionals I've used. It could almost have been a Bible study.
Swindoll explores grace using solid scripture references, wisdom from his years and examples from godly followers of Christ to lift up and encourage believers, new and old, to embrace the gift of God's immeasurable grace.
I enjoyed this devotional about grace. It was a refreshing way to start my days. Great before work read to keep your eyes fresh for opportunities to share the love, grace, and mercy of God as they have been shared to you.
Some worthy and encouraging teachings, even though I didn't initially realize it was a compilation from a previous book. Surprisingly the question sections seemed far less cheery than the text...perhaps written by someone else?
