Five years has passed since the battle of Eclin, but peace in the Kingdom of Delfinnia remains elusive. Fell Beasts terrorise the countryside, dragons attack the Westerlands and worst of all strange ships have been sighted off the coast.

The dark one has amassed a vast army, its sole purpose, to destroy the kingdom and plunge the world into a never ending darkness.
Meanwhile in the east, Accadus of Retbit has grown powerful as Danon’s apprentice and launches his war for the Sundered Crown. With the King’s Legion already stretched to breaking point it will require the kingdom to stand united, a task made nearly impossible thanks to the political intrigues of young king Alderlade’s uncle Ricard.
The stage is set for an epic conflict that will rip the kingdom of Delfinnia apart.

Too many typos!
Honestly this book deserved an additional star. I love the storyline. But my goodness doesn't anyone proofread anymore? Wrong tenses, phrases with extra words that make no sense there. And not just a few times , but consistently time after time.
