Tuve un “mental breakdown” a 300 páginas de acabar “Los Hermanos Karamazov” y decidí acudir a mi zona de confort. Hacía años que no leía estos libros, y, de hecho, me quedé en el séptimo. Un día encontré este en una librería de segunda mano y lo compré.
Aunque pasen los años, los sigo leyendo con la misma ilusión y creo firmemente que son los mejores cuentos infantiles que se han escrito. Sí que tengo que reseñar que se me hizo un poco corto en comparación a otros números. Aquí la historia es mucho más sencilla, tiene como único protagonista a Gerónimo y eso hace que se eche de menos alguien con quién comparta las aventuras. Pero en todo caso me dio un soplo de aire fresco y disfruté cada página.
Deseando ver cuándo se cruza en mi camino el noveno.

Me he leído la mitad de esta saga y no quiero continuar.
Se nota que la han escrito sin cariño ni atención ninguno. Tanto el conjunto como los libros individuales fallan en lo más estrepitoso que es la coherencia y cohesión.
No me sirve de nada que metas 20 personajes y 20 reinos para que luego no tengan utilidad ninguna.
El primer libro está muy bien, así como el cuarto y el séptimo. Pero porque son obras coherentes consigo mismas. Los personajes van y vuelven, tienen su utilidad, los ves evolucionar.
En cambio en el segundo libro hay una trama absurda y unos personajes inútiles. En el sexto, séptimo y octavo deciden inventarse villanos aleatorios sin un origen ni propósito claro. En la mayoría se inventan objetos mágicos que no se vuelven a usar y personajes que no tienen ningún peso. Para muestra el inicio de este libro, que empiezan presentandote a Plumilla Verdoso, su prima la princesa de los cojones y una abeja reina insoportable para que 4 páginas después desaparezcan para siempre de estas páginas. Un caballero misterioso cuyo secreto es revelado a la primera de cambio. Un final que intenta ser apoteósico pero se queda en acelerado.
En fin. No voy a darle más cariño a esta saga que el que le ha dado su autora.

En este caso, a este libro le doy 5 estrellas porque me ha parecido diferente y emocionante. Geronimo viaja a nuevos reinos como por ejemplo: el País del Tiempo o la Torre del Viento. para poder salvar a Floridiana de un fuerte viento que estaba haciendo girar el reloj del Tiempo demasiado rápido. Een boek vol fantasie. Een aanrader voor kinderen. Op deze manier laat je de kinderen hun fantasie de vrije loop samen met Geronimo Stilton. De geuren in het boek, de UV-inkt en de speciale taal helpen het verhaal nog een extra fantasie in, waardoor de fantasie realistischer wordt. Ik kon sommige delen van het verhaal wel voorspellen, zonder het boek eerder te hebben gelezen.

Geronimo Stilton books are always a good time, and this installment in the Kingdom of Fantasy series was no different. Although the story was predictable, it was a really quick and nostalgic read. Plus, it took place in the winter so the beginning and end of the book has some good cozy, snowy vibes!

This book is rated 4.999999999999999999999 not just 4 stars (4 is an unlucky number). This book was a very good book because well, I like dragons, I like gigantic turning clocks, I like big castles, I like saving the world, I like jumping on giant puffy rainbow clouds, and I liked the whole book. This book was about all the things I just said and about time. An evil witch made winds to blow a clock's needle so that the queen of the Kingdom of Fantasy would age rapidly. And if the queen dies the whole Kingdom dies too.

Ik vind het boek echt een aanrader voor kinderen. Ik vond de boeken ook erg leuk toen ik op de basisschool zat. Het is een boek vol fantasie en leuke dingen. Je kunt bijvoorbeeld op sommige pagina's ruiken en op andere pagina's puzzels oplossen. Het boek heeft veel bladzijdes, maar voor je het weet ben je door het boek heen.

un libro pieno di fantasia. altamente raccomandato per i bambini così che gli lasci correre insieme all'immaginazione con geronimo stilton. gli odori nel libro, l'inchiostro e il linguaggio speciale conferisce alla storia una fantasia in più, rendendola più realistica. bellissimo libro. purtroppo ho stoppato la saga qui.

Another fun Geronimo Stilton bedtime read. Picked this one up at the library book sale and read it with the 8 year old at bedtime. A lot of fun, as always, and an easy way to engage young learning readers with the interesting fonts, whimsical and complicated worldbuilding with brilliant illustrations, and characters that we care about and laugh at. Always a great experience.
