Nice relaxing story with a nice plot. This story is what I call a romance with a nice Apacolypse feel to it. The world this author built is in the beginning process of colapsing.

This read does not have a bunch of angst, and twist in it, although there are a couple of scenes that are pretty interesting. There is sex but it's not too much. The banter between the MC's is a little funny at times.

Great story and plot

I was worried when I read the reviews regarding how sexual relations in the story line ruined the book but I decided to read the book anyway. I am glad I did! Despite a few things that didn't seem exactly reality based - maybe some of the attitudes were because the story took place on Canada eh? Lol I really enjoyed the book. I found the relationship between the two main characters more a matter of finding the "right one" than just gratuitous sex and the scenes of their relationship were not at all raunchy. All in all, an engaging story and I can't wait for book 2! I do admit to a bit of confusion about the love of all things ferret though! :P

Good read!

Absolutely loved reading this book! Had lots of interesting ideas regarding prepping. This subject has interested me for years and I love reading this genre. Had fantastic characters and humor thrown in that literally had me laughing out loud. Plus there's always a bad guy and this one you'll love to hate!!! Can't wait to read the next book that follows this one up.

Coulda been...

WAY too much ink wasted on the banter between the "Adults" ... That grows wearisome fast if you're not involved. The story is alrite, so far, just more of the same as all the rest. I'm gonna start the second book now, see if it gets any better. If not, I'm over it.

Not your average SHTF book

This SHTF book is not written like any regular SHTF book. I made it about halfway through the book and gave up on finishing it. If you want a SHTF hippie porno then this is a book for you.

Wonderful

This book was a delight. The characters are well-developed and likeable. The story line is believable, and I found myself rooting for the characters. Don't miss this book.

Great book

I like that their are just as many strong women in your book as men. Can't wait to read the next one.

There's no need to fear, Wonder Woman is here! She knows all, does all....
The book was easy reading but the believability factor is way off the chart.
