17 juin 1940. Alors que la radio diffuse “L’appel au Français !” du maréchal Pétain, Blaise Boforlant poursuit son entretien sur le phénomène Zamaï. Il évoque le premier numéro du “Coeur des batailles” qui passa à l’ennemi, propageant ainsi la légende d’Amaréo Zamaï. Blaise revient également sur son affectation, aux côtés du charismatique soldat, dans le 142e RI, en partance par la Voie sacrée, dans l’enfer de Verdun

About the author

Jean-David Morvan is a French comic author, best known as the creator of the Sillage/Wake series.

After studying arts at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels, he first tried being a graphic artist, but eventually settled for writing instead.

His main series are 'Spirou and Fantasio', 'Sir Pyle' and 'Merlin', all with José Luis Munuera, and 'Sillage', with Philippe Buchet.
