Diana Tucker, a new girl at Tarenton High, thinks she should be on the squad—to fill the vacancy she's planning to cause. Suddenly, Peter is telling lies about where he's been and with whom. The head of Pompom Squad is mad at Olivia, and Tara is too busy with her new gold convertible. The cheerleaders are all too distracted to realize someone is deliberately causing trouble. Can anyone stop Diana Tucker's scheming?

* So there's a new girl at school - Diana - who seems set to be the new Vanessa. Uber-bitch.
* Diana plots to become a cheerleader by getting one of the other cheerleaders removed from the team.
* She steals Hope's sheet music to get her in trouble, she starts dating Peter to stir up trouble between him and Hope, she spreads rumours that Olivia will be kicked off the team because she's not a good leader, causes the pom-pom squad to fight with the cheerleaders, and ultimately steals the jack from Tara's car, and stabs the tyre, intending for Tara to not make it to the game and for Diana to take her place.
* This ultimately fails because 5 cheerleaders get stranded with Tara's car, and Pres rescues them just in time.
* Ardith explains that Diana has a difficult home life having to move constantly and with her third stepmother, and the cheerleaders basically let her off. She will most likely be trouble for them again though.
