It seems that Mary Ellen might actually be thinking about dating Patrick, although she's still very funny about his being a dust man. She seems to have chosen him over Donny though, so we will have to see.
Près went to live with his uncle after his father told him he had to quit cheerleading and get a job at his dad's factory. This meant Pres was on probation at school and couldn't be a cheerleader, but thankfully Angie managed to sort things out in the end.
Nancy met Josh who took Pres's place on the team, and he was the boy her parents wanted her to date because he was the son of their friends. She said no, then changed her mind, and her parents were very happy.
Walt and Olivia started dating, although I'm not sure the coach will be happy about that.
Angie got dumped by Marc.

Another typical book in the series. Same characters, some fun stuff about cheerleading and high school and Pres being rebellious in this one. A decent read.
