A sweet ending to Tyson and Harley. Their chapter finally close and I am so glad for their HEA.
This is a novella. I thought Ty and Harley deserved their HEA to be listened. Nothing but sweet. A nice way to close their romance.

i love k. l. grayson's writing and was really happy to know we had a short novella releasing with more from tyson and harley. it's always great to catch up with characters who you enjoyed previously. this has all of the things i have come to expect from this author, a touch of drama, steamy and swoon worthy moments, plus some cute moments with the family. max stole the show at times, an adorable kid that one. definitely worth reading if your a fan of this couple. there's also a nice look at the end at what's to come and i am already excited for more!

5 STAR READ!!
Once again, KL has not let me down. I probably finished this book in record time. Tyson is still everything you could want in a book boyfriend. The way Tyson is with Max melts your heart and the fact that he wants to make it official, makes you love him even more! After a little, tiny secret, Harley doesn't know if she can trust him fully again, but with a couple days thought she knows that she overreacted. Tyson wants to show Harley that he is 100% committed to her, so he puts together a huge surprise! (Let me tell you, if my fiancé did that, I'd love him forever and ever!!)
I loved the little blurbs for the 2 new books coming out in 2016! I cannot wait to read them! I have a feeling I'm going to fall in love with Connor!

A major disappointment. Very short and not much depth to it. Lots of unanswered questions surrounding this particular couple. Makes me wonder if there is more to this story that comes later. Silly editing errors also plagued this one throughout. It's a novella and I expected short, but some defining moments with some solid conclusions would have been nice.

I was so disappointed in this Novella. After I finished reading Where We Belong, the only thing that I was left hanging with was why Tyson did what he did and what exactly happened with him and Brit. I thought this novella would give me those answers. It really did nothing. It gave me a bit more insight into their current lives, but it didn't give me any of the answers I was looking for. Very disappointed.

Sigh...On Solid Ground is the book I've been waiting for in the Tyson and Harley saga and I am so glad K.L. Grayson decided to give it to me. I fell in love with these characters, especially sweet Max way back in her debut, Where We Belong. And yes, you need to read that book to get just how much this couple has endured on their road to where they are now.
My heart went out to Max in the beginning...he was just getting used to his new normal when Harley and Ty throw him a curve ball. His reaction was honest and had me wanting to hug the little guy. But in true Tyson fashion, he is there to save the day- in his words and actions. The relationship between Max and Ty is special and melts me every time I see them together (and it may've made me weepy a time or two).
However, when a blast from the past resurfaces it throws Ty and Harley's world into a bit of chaos. Old feelings of insecurity and unwantedness and the memories of the night that changed Harley's life come flooding back in full force. Ugh- I commend Tyson for having the patience of a saint in dealing with Harley when she was in that state.
I loved that K.L. Grayson brought back the other couples from this series of standalones that I fell in love with. Everyone from Levi to Quinn made an appearance and played a part in Ty's big scheme. And what a grand scheme it was. I loved his big, grand gesture (and it was beyond grand) it had me swooning my heart out. Oh and that little teaser at the end about a surprise characters book...I'm ready for it now!

KL Grayson has left me stumbling for words once again. I fell in love with Harley and Tyson in Where We Belong, so I was thrilled when she announced that she was continuing their love story with On Solid Ground. I love when a book couple gets their happily ever after, but I’m always left wanting to know what happens once they get there. KL did not disappoint with this novella. She has a way of drawing you into the story and giving you that “just one more page” kind of feeling. If you’ve never read anything by her, you’re missing out. This is a novella that should be on your TBR list for this year.

4.5 stars. Loved catching up with Harley and Tyson. I've always had conflicting feelings towards Tyson. Like Harley, it's just so hard to overlook the time in their past when he let her down. At the same time, I admire Tyson for working relentlessly to right all of his wrongs, or at least never giving up on what he wants and fighting for it. Brit comes back and while I don't like her on principle, I found myself warming up towards her and even looking forward to learning more about her in the future. As for Max, he's as lovable as ever. Great follow-up to Harley and Tyson's story.

What a sweet story about my favorite couple! Ty and Harley pretty much stole my heart in Where We Belong and it was no different here. From the tender moments between Harley and Max but especially Tyson and Max to the fighting and ultimately Tyson's surprise, this novella had it all and once again proved happy ever afters are possible!!

It’s official…KL Grayson is definitely going on my “Read Everything She Writes” list. Another emotional roller coaster delivered by Ms Grayson. On Solid Ground is 2.5 in the A Touch of Fate series. It is just as emotional, heart wrenching, witty, and realistic as the first two books. If you want a book that you can dive into, become totally engrossed, and find yourself thinking about the characters and what’s going to happen next while you’re going through your day then you should probably check this series out.
On Solid Ground takes you back to Tyson and Harley. It can be read after Where We Belong or after Pretty Pink Ribbons. Time wise, it happens simultaneously/after Pretty Pink Ribbons. It’s really a novella and can be read easily in an afternoon. It’s worth taking the afternoon off for, though!

Short and sweet! I always love when authors write little novellas that are about the same characters, except I didn’t even realize this was the same characters from Where We Belong until I read the synopsis, and then I get even more excited to read this and I devoured it. Harley and Tyson had a rough beginning, being friends since they were months old and then when Tyson needed space to work on his relationship with Brit and if you’ve read WWB then you know how they eventually ended up together. They, more than any other characters I can think of deserved their HEA and KL Greyson delivered.

This book was so sweet. I loved reading Ty and Harley's story wrap up. The added drama with the return of Brit... kept me on the edge of my seat.

This novella of Tyson and Harley, has an easy-flow and full of emotions and is steamy sexy. It’s a must read to get the full impact of Tyson and Harley's story. There's some bumps along the road to their HEA and Tyson has a wonderful surprise for Harley.

Feel good story
So I am not sure what I was expecting. This is a feel good love story that I thought would be longer. That may be why it works. Otherwise I would be dissatisfied. Good reads says this is book one but I felt like I was missing something from the story line.

A short story, was expecting a bit something more exciting. His ex is back, but wait didn't they go to NYC because her family was there ( that on the first book) and now she moves here to be close to her family, it doesn't make sense.

This is a sweet novella of Harley and Tyson and also Max, we can’t forget him. Such a sweet update on those two. I see Brit’s book is next but I do wonder if Mason, Luke and Mia were getting books too.

This is a short sweet story about Tyson and Harley's wedding. Their relationship is perfect, until an old flame of Tyson's shows up as a new doctor in the ER.

In this novella, we get a glimpse into the happily ever after of Harley and Tyson. We see where they are now and how they are moving forward, building a solid foundation after the heartache of the past. This story is like a New Year’s Gift for fans of this series. This novella has everything you come to expect from Grayson’s writing. It is emotional, provocative, and sexy. More of Harley and Tyson and Max seems like a dream come true! And For fans of this series it truly is. From the moment I read Where We Belong I knew I wanted many more stories about these characters and with On Solid Ground K.L gives us diehard fans of the series just what we crave.

A misunderstanding gives us a sense of drama but it also ups the ante for Tyson and Harley and brings us to the beautiful moment we were all waiting for! Her book is going to be pretty interesting and I'm stoked to know from the end that Mia and Benny's book is next in the series which is the story I have been clamoring for since I first read their characters. This series just keeps getting better and better and with this novella K.L. brings us back into their world and gives us a tantalizing taste of more in the Touch Of Fate series.

I first fell in love with Harley and Tyson in Where We Belong and now they are back!!! I just loved their story and I am so over the moon happy to get more of them! Their love story just touched me heart. I loved them together and it overjoyed to be getting a novella for them! But sometimes happy endings don't come easy and On Solid Ground shows us the struggles and insecurities that come in real relationships.
Tyson's ex-girlfriend is back in town and working at the same hospital. All of Harley's insecurities are brought front and forward and Tyson (sigh... I just love him) does all he can to prove that his heart and all of his love is with Harley. Like I said their road is not an easy one, there are ups and downs but Tyson and Harley have a love that is epic. The kind of love that makes you swoon and your heart melt. This was a great addition to the series and I just loved it!! You do need to read the other books in the series as this is not a standalone. In my book, K.L. Grayson can do no wrong and with each book she writes her writing excels to the next level! I cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us in the next year!!
