Welcome to Taylor Global, the hardest working economic consulting firm in the world. My job as a personal assistant is a dream come true – until my boss presents me with an indecent proposal.
Controlling billionaire playboy Christian Taylor, the son of the owner and my current boss, wants me to be his fake girlfriend and he’s willing to pay off all my debts to do so. With the bank pressuring me daily, I am in no position to refuse the offer.
But when lust takes over, I can’t control the outcome…
Oh, I’m in trouble now…
This is a delicious stand-alone contemporary romance story with mature situations. Readers should be 18 plus.
Elizabeth Ward loves her wicked, lustful alpha males...
But she also loves writing about real women. With magazines and advertising filled with perfect caricatures of what it is to be female, Elizabeth wants to create something more believable but still entertaining and fun. She likes to write about men and women who are floored but also strong, beautiful but not fake, sexy but not cheap.
She writes about people connected by more than just amazing sex, but by an inner link joining them together emotionally and intellectually.
A quick paced story which concentrates on Rachel and her boss Christian. She has suffered set backs, so has he. Just perhaps they can help each other out. The dialogue over the weekend was written with quick one-line shut downs, truly impressive. However I felt the story just lacked a bit more warmth and encouragement to dig deeper into.the characters, get some subplot running to. I did however complete the book.
I saw how many stars were given for this book. My rating is similar. I meam 2 stars is bad but why: I can understand typos but Chirstian to Christina, even for once was disturbing for me. The plot : desperation, betrayal, fake : I have read many but would I be that harsh because I'm bored of those topics? No. Why such rate : fast space, not coherent for me, I would need more substance. It was lacking to me.
