So good!!! It is about writing, but it is also about having courage in whatever it is that you are doing, creatively speaking. It was more about process, about how to keep doing what you feel called and compelled to do, even when you're scared. It was about letting go of perfection, which is just another form of fear. One of my favorite parts was when she talked about fear and creativity always coming together. Or at least, you can't have creativity without fear--she didn't specify if you can have fear without creativity! But if you want to follow your creativity, you have to deal with fear, too. You deal with it by acknowledging it, listening to it, and not giving it control. I loved how straightforward she was, and all her stories. She gives good illustrations of what she means, and keeps the reader interested and engaged throughout.

this book is amazing absolutely amazing. If you need something that will lift you up and get you started, get you moving, get you going in the right direction, this is it. I love the way she tells about creation. and it doesn't have to be that you're a writer. Whatever your creation is she pushes you to do it, just do!!!

Amazing! Gorgeous, uplifting, wonderful read. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to live a creative life. I already love a creative live: I knit, are paying and more in my spare time (and work full time, go to school full time and pretend I'm a mother!) and found this to be chick full of delightful takeaways o embrace my creativity instead of feeling guilty about it!
