I love short sci-fi collections like this. This book reminds me of the illustrated man by Ray Bradbury, which is another of my personal favorites. Each story has an interesting perspective about the universe and technological development. Cixin Liu's novels make me feel negligible against the universe, yet not in significant. My mind have not evolved to understand things in some of the alien entities described in this novel, so I feel that the human observations probably changes things in a quantum level and somehow reflects on the macro level, and that is what makes us significant. The ethical topics in this book are also interesting. I would reread this book after a while just to feel the mind-blowing effects from each topic discussed in this book and would definitely recommend this to my friends.
