A fantastic collection of short stories written by four amazing Aussie authors. Each story featured surfing: the spunky Aussie pro surfer chicks, the sexy South American pro surfer, The surf life saver in Cornwall and hot surfer guy at the ritzy resort.

Each writer's unique style came through, giving each story a unique voice. Carla's story is light and fun but super sexy, with similes that made me smile. Maria's is is confident and spunky. Alli's has South American accents that make me swoon. Tess drew me into her world and finished with a bang.

Hot Stuff: Surfing Love is nice anthology that contains four short stories about surfers and love.

First story is about a lifestyle bloger and motorbike workshop/coffe shop owner, who meet on romantic island, have hot couple of days, till she has to leave. They never expected to meet again, but...

The second story is about a pro surfer, who meets a boy for a one night, gives him a wrong name and profession and leaves on a morning, never to see the boy again. But when she boards the plane to go catch the biggest wave of her life, he boards the plane also, to be the one who will take her to the wave and will guard her life. This could be a problem or the best last minute chance ever.

Third story is about a singer and a pro surfer. She has problem with ocean, surfing and writing songs and he has problem with surfing and self-confidence. So he tries to help her and she helps him. You will never know what you will find when you try the things that scare you.

Fourth story is about divorce who leaves her home as far as possible to forget what happened and to try to write a book. What she finds is a idyllic beach and a life guard who has lost his wife and raises his daughter alone with some help from his parents.

All four stories are very sweet and entertaining.

Carla Caruso
Six-star Weekend
The surprise ending really made this story shine. I like Sage, her uninhibitedness, her assertiveness, she's definitely making the most of her holiday time and when she collides with Harley - WOW what a vacation for both of them. Harley's all man, he is more than smitten with Sage. Sexy and sentimental. I wouldn't mind reading more of this lusty coupling. Caruso's amorous weekend spree will jar recollections of the readers own holiday escapades.

Maria Lewis
The Bluff
Being an avid surfer myself I loved this story. Lewis sketches the beauty and brutality of surfing through gritty maverick renown surfer Ever, YES, Lewis gives the reader a badass female surfer!! Ever is one tough athlete and woman, however she has one unknowingly recently acquired diehard male fan in tow. My feminist side found Ever and her effort flawless, very well done. Fellow surfers will undoubtedly appreciate this tactile/sensory story along with fierce Ever. Bravo Maria Lewis! Love an author taking the road less travelled crafting a true gem!

Alli Sinclair
Song of the Sea
Loved the snippets of Brazil, just enough to create the perfect ambience. Fate played a major role in this uplifting union of friendship and love. Lexi and Miguel both fight and slay their demons together. Great message of 'stop letting past failures dictate the future' as these two gentle souls discover.

Tess Woods
Destiny in a Day
Simple, romantic, two endearing characters all creating the perfect recipe of finding true love when you least expect it. Proof 'no such thing as an accident.' You can't fight serendipity, as two hearts leave the painful past behind in the name of love. A story melting the strongest cynics heart. Lovely and touching, subtly forceful.

As with all fabulously written short stories they tease you leaving you hankering for more, these authoresses handiwork are no exception. I love the surfing aspect, I loved the strength and independence of all the female characters, they ran the show not the men. Great collection, hated reaching the end.

I picked this collection up this afternoon as I had read two of the authors’ works previously. It looked like it would be quite different from their other writing and I was in the mood for something different, so I thought I’d give it a go, even though it didn’t look like my usual type of read. Well, what a lovely surprise! I started and couldn’t stop. Four great stories here that are perfect for whiling away an afternoon. Definitely recommend!

Prepare yourself for some steamy surf action with Hot Stuff Surfing Love – after all, the first word of the first story in the quartet is ‘sex’. HarperCollins has brought together four talented writers to deliver a summer short story collection full of surprises, surf, swoons, sweat and sexiness. Caruso’s ‘Six-star Weekend’ has more than meets the eye – a woman with her mind on one thing for one weekend, and her sights are set on a hunky surfer who resembles an ‘extremely chiselled, handsome merman’. Lewis, whose writing is new to me, gives readers their thrills through descriptions of big wave surfing, but throws in plenty of sensual promise with ‘The Bluff’. In Sinclair’s ‘Song of the Sea’, a woman is encouraged to get back in touch with her creative muse, with the help of a sexy Brazilian pro-surfer, delivering a story full of heart and passion in more ways than one. Finally, Woods takes readers to Cornwall, infusing ‘Destiny in a Day’ with Cornish tales, creating stories within a story in a manner she does so well. At the outset, readers would think this story was more sweet than sizzle, but no. There is most definitely sizzle. Everyone will have their favourites, but for me, ‘Song of the Sea’ and ‘Destiny in a Day’ resonated most strongly.

Four short stories about the sun, surf, sand and hot, hot romance. From the Great Barrier Reef to Tasmania, Rio De Janeiro and Cornwall these stories had just the right amount of everything! I ended up wanting to take my phone to the beach and read while watching others surf... Then I remembered I live in Darwin and right now it's too wet and no one is surfing!

I'll definitely be reading more by all four Aussie authors!

Oh, what a beautiful collection of short stories by four Aussie authors.

My first time reading anything by these writers and it certainly won't be my last. They can count on me reading/buying all of their works.

All four stories are a sweet, sassy and delightful read and not to mention a whole lot of hero hotness!
But, each hero also having wonderful qualities that we all like to see in a man - a kind, caring, loving and gentle nature/heart.

Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading short stories and wanting a taste of an author they haven't read before.

I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I sometimes like to pick up compilation books to get a taste of authors that are new to me. Also, I find them a nice palate cleanser if I have a book hang over--nothing too strenuous. The trick is, getting enough of a story packed into such a small package.

It’s winter here so I saved this book for Valentine’s Day – and it was perfect for the occasion. Each of the four stories featured strong women entangled with complex, compelling men. Excellent romance. Good sex. Two thumbs up.

My thoughts on the collection of stories overall:

Hot Stuff Surfing Love is filled with four stories by fantastic Aussie authors, filled with sexy surfers, strong female leads and a lot of tropical fun! They were all dripping with sex-appeal to bring a quick, fun, sexy romance story. I would love to see all four of them continued into a full length novel, but thoroughly enjoyed the shorts as they were.

5 stars for this fun tropical beachy read. Pass me a piña colada!

Six-Star weekend by Carla Caruso

Carla Caruso delivered a fun sexy tropical romance story. Would make for a great full length novel, and hopefully that’s exactly what it is!

The Bluff by Maria Lewis

A fun, fast paced story about three female pro-surfers taking on the world. It was fun on it’s own, but could be a great beginning to a full length novel.

Song of the Sea by Alli Sinclair

A fun short story about learning to move on. Sometimes failure can be exactly what we need to propel us forward and inspire us to do better. Don’t let past failures hold you back. Nicely wrapped up on it’s own, but could lead into a great full length novel.

Destiny in a Day by Tess Woods

Life is short, therefore we should live it to the fullest. Don’t let your past hold you back from what you want and keep you from enjoying your life now. Short, quick and fun, yet well-written; another fabulous story from Tess Woods.
