Anyway this is a prequel to Marry You Three Times it seems - it's Long San and his wife [Feng... something]'s story I'm pretty sure - but oof the tone was so different. And the momo of the Long family was so mean and bitchy 😱
I did find the wife [Long3FuRen] a bit extra in Marry, but overall lovable ...

but TBH the reason why I DNF'd it was because the narrator read through her nose. OMFG why. It obviously wasn't how she actually speaks because there was no hint of it when she did character voices. So ... it was a goddamn choice [incredibly awful and stupid, imo] to be insanely nasal when reading omfg why.

4/19/25 - after being so happy with my Marry You Three Times re-read [again]... I decided once more to try to read the book. Got further this time, but still DNF'd. The narrator is no. Also, FL is ... *sigh* bratty. And ML hadn't even shown up - she's just this abandoned wife trapped in the family. Maybe if/when it's translated ... but audio wise? Pass.

Salah satu buku yang berhasil membuatku bertahan membaca meski dengan kemampuan pas-pasan banget. *yeah~* tetapi demi melihat sejauh mana hubungan antara Long San dengan Feng Ning, dan ada hubungan macam apa di masa lalu Feng Ning dengan keluarga Long dan keluarga Feng, aku memutuskan bertahan membaca, dan semoga saja bisa selesai menamatkan bacaan ini hingga buku kedua nanti. Buku pertama ini sih aku cukup berhasil menyelesaikannya. Seru dan menggemaskan~!
