1 Disappointing-Star ☆
The story was okay, but there were a couple problems... I was counting a lot of stars while reading this book. It had it's ups and downs... but mainly downs. :(
+1★: Knox heard Paige masterbating and decided to walk in on her. ;) thats hot!
-1★: the word 'crude' was used way too much. That was basically the only word used to describe him besides arrogant and it was used in almost every paragraph. I know it's the title of the book, but i hate when terms are shoved down your throat.
-1★: There were a couple spelling errors and grammar mistakes. Quotations were missing to cap off statements, commas were never put. I looked past the first couple, but after a while i was just getting pissed. “...give you a jobC cry me....”
-1★: I know I'm supposed to think Knox is hot, but it didn't connect with me. I dont even know what his face looks like or his hair color. All i know is what i already saw on the cover...tattoos and muscles. And, he's bad qualities are just plain stupid. Stupid is not sexy by the way.
→ “Nah man, just trying to think of the best way to rub your face in it when I fuck Paige McCauley.”
-1★: Filler. Certain parts of the story seemed to drag and take too long. Which is sad, because i started off liking the story, but somewhere around 20% i started drifting.
-1★: i hated how the story began with the parents telling both kids they're getting married while introducing them to each other for the first time! Who the f#%k just gets married without meeting their kids or introducing families? Its a major cop out to add suspense into the plot this way. I groaned out loud when i read it, because it's the same plot twist as every other hot-stepbrother-book.
-1★: i didn't develop any connection to Paige. She likes to play music, thats all i know about her. I cant say i'd even want Paige as a friend, because she seems boring. And not boring because she wears khakis and button downs, because i wear similar clothes, but she has no personality. She's portrayed as a dull virgin. Who would find that sexy?
-1★: i had to stop. I hate admitting i couldn't finish a book, but i couldn't. It was boring as f#%k! Its weird because its not written that bad, but it's lacking that oomph, and originality. I can already tell how the story is going to end and i don't like it.
