The romance continues with FALLING INTO YOU, the 5th book in Barbara Freethy's bestselling Bachelors and Bridesmaids Series. Seven female friends start out as bridesmaids and end up as brides!
Maggie Gordon grew up as an Army brat, moving every other year as the family followed her father around the world. Now what she wants most in the world is a real home, an address that doesn't change every year, the kind of security most people take for granted. She's very close to reaching her goals, and then a bad boy biker kisses all her plans right out of her head.
There's no way she's giving up her dreams for a man who is too charming for his own good—is there? Cole kisses like an outlaw, and she's looking for a good guy this time around.
Cole Hastings kissed the beautiful hotel clerk on a whim. The last thing he expected was sparks hot enough to build a lasting fire. He's been burned by love, and the last thing he's looking for is a woman who wants to settle down. He tried that once, and it didn't work. There's no way he's giving up his dreams for a woman who's passionate about gardening, baking and building a home—is there?

Barbara's love of writing developed out of a love of reading. Growing up in an all-boy neighborhood, she spent quite a bit of time reading through her mother's large library, many of which were romantic novels. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara, she went into Public Relations, but soon discovered that writing was her true passion.
Barbara was traditionally published for many years, then formed her own publishing company FOG CITY PUBLISHING in 2011 and has since sold over 10 million books! She has published 75 novels ranging from mystery thrillers to romantic suspense and contemporary romance.
Her book SUMMER SECRETS was a #1 New York Times bestseller! And twenty-five other novels have also appeared on the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Lists. She is currently writing two ongoing series, a contemporary romance series set in Whisper Lake and a romantic suspense series: Off The Grid: FBI Series. She is also known for her bestselling Callaway Family Series, which offers up fourteen books and two novellas.
When Barbara isn't writing or publishing, which isn't very often these days, she is playing tennis, hanging out with friends and family in beautiful Lake Tahoe or reading books!

Kein Mann also für Maggie.
I LOVED this book. Its a great story. I loved the characters. They are fun and playful. Its nice to see the secondary returning from the previous books. It is book 5 in the series but it can also be a stand alone book. I promise it will leave you wondering about the other girls in the series and you will have to go back and read other previous books. Its great that they don't have to be read in order for you to enjoy the series. Im looking forward to book 6.
I absolutely loved Falling into You; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the fifth book in the Bachelors and Bridesmaids series. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better. I love that they series is based on the lives of eight women who met in their college freshman dorm, became best friends, and promised to be bridesmaids in one another’s weddings. Barbara Freethy has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. Falling Into You did not disappoint, I could not put it down and I loved every page. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. Falling Into You is a love at first sight love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Falling Into You is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Falling Into You is the story of bad boy Cole Hastings, nephew to Ida Stratton, owner of the Stratton Inn and Maggie Gordon, desk clerk at the Stratton Inn. Cole is working undercover to find out what is really going on at the Stratton Inn, and the role that Harry Stone, the inn’s manager, is playing in these incidents. As Cole approaches the check in desk, he leans over and kisses Maggie, much to Harry’s annoyance and he has Maggie assign him to the worst room at the inn. Eventually, Cole tells Maggie that Ida is his aunt, but does not share with her the real reason for his visit. Cole represents everything that Maggie, and Army brat, does not want in her life. She wants order, and to purchase the home that she is currently renting, all things that Cole detests. Cole wants to get on his motorcycle and ride to wherever he wants. Maggie and Cole spend time together, with the help of his aunt Ida, and things change between. Maggie and Cole share secrets and bittersweet stories with one another. I love that they were both so vulnerable and that they changed because of their love. Ultimately, Maggie wants a house and that is the last thing that Cole is currently interested in. I loved that Falling into You is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Maggie and Cole are facing that need to be resolved. I love that there were multiple storylines: Maggie’s relationship with her father, Cole’s wanderlust, Maggie’s purchasing her home, discovering who is behind the misappropriations at the Stratton Inn, Julie and Matt’s wedding, but most importantly Maggie and Cole’s story. I love all the little things that Cole does for Maggie to help her realize her dreams, and her relationship with her father, and how Cole realizes that his desire to travel isn’t the same since he met Maggie. I love how Cole finds his future dreams while visiting vineyards and wineries with Maggie. I love how all the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love all the descriptions of the California area settings that Barbara Freethy detailed. Falling Into You is filled with the poignant and bittersweet moments in the story as well as the plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Barbara Freethy's stories. I love the cast of characters in Falling into You and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? Reading Falling into You felt like a family reunion, because the reader was able to catch up with the other characters in the series. Especially, Julie and Matt’s wedding at the Stratton Inn. I thoroughly enjoyed Falling into You, who doesn’t love a love at first sight love story. Highly recommend this wonderfully written story.

This series about 8 college roommates who vow to be bridesmaids at each other’s weddings is just as good reading the second time as the first. This book features Army brat Maggy who has spent her entire life searching for roots and free spirit Cole, who grew tired of corporate bonds, bought a motorcycle and set off to see the world. Brought together by his aunt, who runs the hotel where Maggy works, will it be all work and no play as Cole goes over the hotel books and Maggy keeps trying to recreate her mom’s apple pie? This reviewer will never tell. I will recommend you join them on their journey. I, meanwhile am off to reread the next book in the series.
After frequent moves as an army brat, Maggy craves security and a home of her own. Cole is a free spirit he’s done with the ties of relationships and the corporate world. A meeting of two opposites who are definitely attracted to one another. This is the fifth in the Bridesmaids series and was a really enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading the stories of the others.
Maggie believes a pumpkin named Harry, an apple pie, and a house will help her recreate the home she has always wanted, but a new guest changes everything by kissing her. Cole and Maggie find true love can happen quickly and change goals.
Maggie, an army brat has lived all over the world and after her mother died she felt no family or home. She's working for a home and stability. Cole, nephew and son of hotel magnets wants no part of stability. Together they find a happy medium
This most recent release in the Bachelors and Bridesmaids Series by Barbara Freethy continues what has been another tremendous and/or as good as they come, in the release of her fifth novel in this Series. I had not purchased a Volume in this Series until I saw Barbara's email of November 19, last Tuesday, November 24th as I was awaiting its release. I, therein, immediately purchased on November 24th, Volume 1 through Volume 5; her most recent release on November 19th, in the Series, noted above; as I just knew I would become spellbound with each Volume as I have with the already nine Volumes that have been released in her CALLAWAY SERIES. I'm now anxiously awaiting the release of VOLUME 10 "TENDER IS THE NIGHT" currently scheduled as of this past November 24th, for release on/or about March 24, 2016.
In addition, VOLUME 6 which is entitled FOREVER STARTS THE NIGHT, in this Series "BACHELORS and BRIDESMAIDS", will be released sometime in 2016! The actual date was not shown, when VOLUME 5 released on November 19th.
To any and all, who have read any of Ms. Freethy's many series in the past; if you haven't already become totally enthralled with her "BACHELORS AND BRIDESMAIDS SERIES" and "CALLAWAY SERIES", you need to put these fourteen books in these two Series that have already been released, as a MUST have for your Christmas presents! I believe, Ms. Freethy's books have all been released in any type of book you would desire to read.
Happy Holidays to all and please take my recommendations on these two Series wholeheartedly; as they are books you wouldn't want to miss being able to say you've read and found yourself having a hard time putting aside to go to sleep at night!
With my warm regards and highest recommendation on these two Series, to all,
An enjoyable and humorous love story. Maggie is a determined young woman who goes out of her way to help people and in doing so, loses her job. Cole comes along and helps her when she least expects it. A definite read.
I still like the earlier books best, but this was a cute read. Maggie made me think of Lorelai Gilmore because she worked at a hotel. I wish this was longer since I already finished it and have to wait until the next book comes out.
