Greta Bell #3

Diamond Ring

Rate this book
Greta can’t take her eyes off the sparkling ring on her finger. Everything she’s wished for is finally coming true. She’s marrying the man of her dreams.

But she’ll soon learn that planning a wedding isn’t all dress shopping and rosy bouquets. Her future in-laws aren’t exactly wild about their son’s choice for a life partner. When they forbid Blake from marrying her and threaten to take away his trust fund, her whole life suddenly feels built on shaky ground.

Greta doesn’t need Blake’s family. Or their money. All she needs is him. The wedding will happen with or without his parents. But as the big day approaches, she’s starting to get the feeling that Blake is having cold feet.

Very cold.

Has he still not learned that they’re meant to be together forever?

Still?

So I have come to the last installment in the Greta series or as I like to call it "diary of two batshit crazy sex addicts". It was a wild and crazy ride reading this series.

So the third installment I cannot speak much of without spoilers. I will say that my one pet peeve was the series just got to violent and bloody for me. Boyfriend glasses is still my favorite of the three.

I am giving this a four anyway because of the ending. It was done quite well and shocked the heck out of me. It made the pages and pages of sex and violence, many that I needed to skim, almost worth it.

Do not get me wrong. I loved this series. I just felt it went to brutal. And as I mentioned in my review of Party Dress, to full on with the sex. I still am glad I read this series and would recommend.

SPOILERS:

Great way to pull it all together and to end the series. Great writing, great surprise..the one person who really cares about Greta is also the one person who puts an end to things. That was so well done and a genuine surprise.

This was a bizarre little series indeed but it was fun. Four stars for this book.

WOW! I downloaded the first book on my iPad by fluke and figured its free its probably gonna be ceesy. Was I wrong literally 3 hours in and I was done and dying to read the other 2.

To my suprise my iPad isnt compatible with Kindle so on my little phone i dowloaded it and read the other 2 within a day.

This makes Gone Girl look boring. When I read about Simon and it clicked I was so shocked.
I want more of Crazy Greta!!!
Honestly such an amazing book!

Love, love, love

I finished the trilogy in a few days. I couldn't put it down. Greta is so deliciously wicked. Ordinarily I end up bored after reading an author's writing so quickly but this kept me entertained. A perfect summer series.

- Reviewing Greta Bell Series, Part 1-3

Livia Harper just stole my heart. This series is everything I love about psychological thrillers. It doesn't let go, no mercy and really a good read.
Twisted and dark...brilliant!

#1: Boyfriend Glasses

The first time Greta saw Blake, she knew he was the one. Knew it like fire knows tinder.
She hadn't thought she'd be at a frat party her first week in college, but her roommate, Amber, convinced her to go. Greta couldn't believe how easy it was to get in. But she was pretty now, and everything was different. No one knew anything about her ugly duckling past or all the darkness before. It was a whole new world, a brand new start. Then she saw Blake and knew he was her destiny. But Blake saw Amber first. And he got...confused. Blake was her soul mate. She could tell. She knew all about soul mates. Too bad about her last one...

Greta Bell is a very complex character. She wants to be loved, she wants what everyone wants and right now she wants Blake Abbott...
She doesn't take no for an answer.
Be careful, don't cross her...revenge is like an aphrodisiac to her.

#2: Party Dress

Greta feels like a princess. All the dark stuff that happened a few weeks ago is buried. She has only eyes for her new prince and when the darkness surface again, she and Blake have to work together to bury that darkness forever. But something is not right. She knows Blake loves her, he tells her so. But what he says and what he does, is two different things.

3#: Diamond Ring

This one is the darkest in the Greta Bell Series.
From the first page, it's all down hill. Everything happens so fast. Blake proposed, she finally gets to meet her future in-laws but whatever started out like the perfect fairy tale, escalates in a bad bad way. She is confused. Everywhere she turns, she takes the gloom and the murk with her. She realises there's only one thing to do...whatever the consequences.

This is a brilliant series and I would read more of Livia Harper's work in the future.
What a ride. What a read...
Book hangover for sure!

What A Ride!

This trilogy is quite a ride! The crazy in this is high. I may be crazy myself, I found myself feeling sorry for Greta quite a bit. Until the very end, then I didn't at all. This is definitely a series worth reading!

Creepy but a great read

The third in a series that you must read in sequence. One of the most compelling book series and sinister characters I have ever encountered. Well worth the time!

Greta has a big sparkling ring on her finger from the man of her dreams, but planning a wedding is harder than she thought it would be. Not to mention her in-laws don't like her. And her fiancé still hasn't learned that they are meant to be together forever.

Just like the previous two books in the series you won't want to put it down until it's finished. There's never a dull moment. Greta and Blake are still twisted. I loved it!

This trilogy is a MUST read!!!

I've read the whole trilogy, and each book is better then the last! The author is truly gifted, or twisted?! I couldn't stop reading! The main character, Greta , she is just evil, sadistic, and brilliant!! From the first page of the first book, the story sucks you in!! I felt like I was inside the mind of a psychopath!! This trilogy is the BEST written set I have EVER read!!! Just mind blowing!!!

This series has completely left me speechless! I am so happy that I lucked up on purchasing the first book. From beginning to end this story captivated me. Greta was outright crazy!! I found myself rooting for Blake to get rid of her, but then jumping ship and seeing that he was just as crazy as she was. I highly suggest that everyone read this series!!! I am officially a die hard fan of Livia Harper!!

So twisted!

The entire series was an adventure full of twists and turns, murder and betrayal and I couldn't put it down! Greta was so delusional and interesting and downright bat shit crazy! I loved getting a glimpse into the mind of a madwoman and I am sad to see it end.

I loved all three of these books and read them so fast I'm not sure which one was my favourite. I think the second one. However, my favourite ending was this one.
