In this book we meet Taron Jones and River Browning. River is looking for a husband to marry her in the next 30 days or she will loose her controlling stock in the company business. River was born out of wedlock and her half siblings have never let her forget it. The will do anything they can to make sure that River is kicked out of the family fortune for good. So what is River to do to make sure this happens quickly call upon her old friend Mari. In her mind Mari may mate up shifters with their true match but that doesn't have to be the case for River she just needs someone strong enough to stand up to her family and agree to be married to her for 1 year. She is willing to pay this man to ensure that her step siblings can't take what is rightfully hers away from hers.
Taron is a disgraced dragon. Since being thrown out of his pack he has tried to make it on his own but it is a problem especially with so many people still having problems with shifters and not allowing them to work. Taron is barely getting by and when Maddox calls him about a job he is completely broke and not knowing where his next meal will come from or where he will lay his head down that night. When Maddox explains what type of job this is he knows he has tricked Taron slightly but knows the money will be good for him. Taron isn't sure if he wants to do this or not because his pride is telling him not to but Taron knows pride won't feed him or help him find a place to live.
This is another short story in this series. It is amazing to read about two broken people who come together and may have just found something to last forever. Each of them have their reasons for going into this arrangement but once they agree there is no turning back. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Wonderful
What a great book it’s the end of the series but damn it could have been a totally grownup book with many more pages and I would have loved it more I’m thinking this is the end of this series but that’s to bad because all the books were great for a quick read in a stolen hour

Awwww, this was sooo good. I would've liked an epilogue. It needed to be bit longer. I needed more. I wanted more from the nasty Brownings. Did they try to stop the wedding? What about babies, dragonlets? I dropped a star because, I felt a wee bit robbed.
I'll give back the star if an ending is tagged on in the future ...pretty please ! 🙏

Mate's
A nice read - somewhat fast but a good read that will keep your interest to the very end. Couples with problems who find one another and have a bit of happiness that others envy.

I really like River and Talon's book. My only disappointment is I wanted it to be longer. I wanted to see how they handled the family issues and how many dragonlets they have. Please write a second River and Talon book!!

My favorite of the series
All are short, sweet, and hot. Shifters finding their fated mates. Who doesn't love a sexy growly alpha who is devoted to their lady. Hopefully we'll be visiting M&M again soon.

My favorite of the series so far. They are all short, sweet, and hot. Shifters meeting their fated mates. Who doesn't love a growly alpha who is devoted to their woman. Very insta lust/love but hopefully we'll be hearing from M&M again soon.

Not my favorite in the series
I think this is worth 5 stars, but I would have liked more closure at the end.( he could have flambe the sibs) The back story was very good, in a horrible way. I've finished way too fast. Hopefully this series will be visited again.

I loved the story line....but it was just to short... What happens next? I love both authors and their writing styles. I was hoping for a little more to the story.

Good read
I enjoyed reading about Taron and River, even though it wasn't what I was expecting. The storyline was definitely intriguing and steamy, but also well written.

The formatting in the first part of the story is a MESS
Poor proofing always annoys me, as it jerks me out of the story. I frequently pass on books when reviewers discuss poor editing. This short story goes far beyond that. There are pages of cut and paste, repeated pages, missing pages, or at least paragraphs, who can tell? A pity, because it was a quick, feel good story otherwise.

This is a great short read!!! I bought it and my daughter read it before I could ...stinker. As with all of Celia Kyle M&M (Mating) books this one is so good!
If you have read some of her other books you will recognize some of the shifters popping in and out.
River has been running her father's empire but has not been accepted by his family since she is only a half sister. When he passes away she learns she has 31 days to marry (for one year) or her half sister inherits and she looses everything she has worked hard to grow. So she looks to the M&M dating service to find her a mate ...any mate the worse the better, for one year.
Well they find her a weredragon who has been shunned MANY years before... he is hot and of course you guess it FATE!
This is a short read but let me tell you Celia Kyle is a Queen at writing great shorts. This was the perfect lunch time read for me... In Fact I have read it several times it is so good. I hope one day when she completes all the M and M series she puts them all in one big book for us to have together.

High on the scale of sexiness. Ohhh who didnt LOVE Taron? Better yet who didnt love River? She cracked me the hell up! Oh she was sassy! Taron I feel got treated badly by his people. I mean you couldnt blame the guy for what happened. Felt for him. Dayum was he all sexy and hawt! Very domineering and take charge and is hurting for money. He decides to take up the deal to marry River so he can live...its only for a year right? She needs a husband bad or her father's company goes her to step siblings and lemme say they are biotches! Geez. Anyways, she needs a man and fast! They meet and Taron realizes right off she's his mate. This was quite a ride...a sexy one. Can't wait to see whats next. Maddox and Mari crack me up. Wonder if they are gonna get stories? :)

The blurb got me - and the price was okay for the length (99 cents to 51 pages) - more short story than novelette. Ending too abrupt. Seriously - this book needs at least three more chapters. Want to know what happens between the sisters and River - want to see Talon taking on more of the Brownings. Want to feel River's emotions as she fights for the business - initially it was powerful, but she has this half-heart-ed admission towards the end - would like that to come back to powerful again.
River is a dragon's mate everything about her should be powerful and I felt that at the beginning of the story - the ending just burns out like yesterday's ashes and shifts away on the wind. Ms. Kyle and Ms. Carter need another go round with this manuscript to bring it to its full potential.

Absolutely loved it.
This is my favorite so far. I love M&M mating agency. This is River and Taron story. Poor River is an outcast because she's a half sister and when her father dies the real kids try to take everything she's worked for the only way to save it is to get married in 30 days. Taron is an outcast of his own his clan has turned their backs on him he has no family. So when M&M tell him they have a job their not lying per say. River is willing to pay him to marry her for one year. Will these two find their happily ever after or is Taron dark side to much for River. Loved it. So worth the read. Can't wait till the next one.

I gave this three stars. I usually like Celia's novellas, but this one felt rushed. Very short story about a rich girl with a horrible family who want the company her father left a majority to. She is the blasted child and according to the will must marry within thirty days. Tarnish a Dragon Shifter who has been exiled from his peers by the queen of dragons. He's homeless and broke and a friend of Mari's who owns a dating agency for shifters. The novella is well written, I just felt if it had been a little longer with more character development it would have been better.

Taron a shifter with out family or a home or with out money takes a job with the M& M Agency but what he gets is so much more . if you have not read the box set do so it has 1 thru 4 and then 5 thru 8 are buy books and then stay tuned for book 9 can't wait to see how this may turn out .

Another totally enjoyable read by Celia Kyle and Mina Carter. You will really fall in love with Taron a dragon shifter who thinks he is not good enough for River because of his past. River has enough of her own problems with her greedy family trying do her out of her inheritance. But when they meet through necessity the sparks will flow. Can't wait to see who will be the next shifter to go the M & M Mating Agency. Excellent Series.

Loved It!
This was a good read but didn't like the ending much as i wanted to see what happens with the wedding planning, her horrible family, the Browning company, there are so many unanswered questions to what happens next and it just left off to her making Mari her maid of honor and for her to organise her wedding. The ending felt like a cliffhanger but it wasnt, if that makes any sense.

This is so good. For a shorter story, we got a lot of back story for both main characters. I especially liked when the dragon shifter defended her against her half-sister, that was great. I liked having a dragon shifter hero, the description of his scales and how they come out during sexual play and breathing fire were great. I really liked the hero all the way through. I came to like the heroine a lot all the way through. I enjoyed it.

Would have given 5 stars but wished that how she just seemed to finish up was a bit rushed. Otherwise it was a short, sweet, sensual experience. I recommend Celia Kyle books because she's a wonderfully charismatic writer and creates wonderful characters and joins them together with sensual scenes in her storylines.

Book is totally awesome sauce!
When you're down on your luck, you're willing to do anything, even get married.
When your back is against the wall, you get desperate. Sometimes fate looks out for you. I loved how they went through their insecurities simultaneously and came out ahead and mated. It's a great read with a puppy upper ending.
