One Insatiable is another re-vamped story by Tia Louise, taking on the shifter world with a sinister twist. Mercy and Koa's story is a tasty treat that gives you the feeling of falling in love all over again and rooting for them when their chances were slim. What drew me in most was Koa's sense of protectiveness even when he believed to be not the best choice for her. There is something about a man who doesn't know his own worth but can prove it time and time again. It was refreshing to have our hero not have all the money and luxuries in the world, offering nothing more than his love. Although there was a sense of an ending, there is the anticipation of more, knowing trouble is not so far away from it all.

This was an amazing story and if you like shapeshifters stories at all, I highly recommend you read it. I loved how original the main characters were as well. The storyline was everything I expected a paranormal genre to have, it had angst, it was fast paced, well written, captivating and hot just what I love in a shifter romance. The characters were fascinating, powerful, and certainly praise-worthy.

I truly loved Mercy! She was lively, spirited and jaunty. She was so strong and brave to fight for what she believed. She wanted to create her own destiny, make her own decisions and do her best to shape her own existence. Koa was extremely powerful and all alpha! He was courageous, composed, tough and emotional! His obsession for Mercy soon turned into deep, eternal love. He wanted to build an amazing love with her and that's why she was worth fighting for.

I enjoyed this supernatural read. The true love, soul mate love Mercy and Koa had for each other was amazing. Sweet, caring, protective and oh so sexy!!!!!! They really made a great couple. You’ll definitely like the action, and the steaminess. This was a really fun read that sucked me in from the very first page. Highly imaginative fantasy and good writing skills!

Mercy as worked at Andy's gyms for a while she luvs workin there an luvd doin her pottery but she want to move to San Francisco an do more get her own shop she as so many dream an she will make them happen but she doesn't know them at other people have plans for her Koa as had a bad time later an need to get his life back on track he has done bad things best he wants to make his life better he as decided to move from Princeton an wants to move to Chicago to start a new life he needs a fresh start



Mercy is havin a hard time at home he sister is the alpha of her pack since her parents died an she want let her do much she wants to move out like her sister but Dylan won't let her an this is frustrating for Mercy she needs time away this is where bein a shifter is great u can just run as far as u want an not worry about anything but this time she runs into a very big black panther/Koa her bein a lynx she is smaller but she doesn't let anyone intimated her she now's how to look after herself an alway will but there is something about this shifter that draws her to him once they have turned human they need each other more than they think they r both stressed out with there life's an they need the sexual release but I don't think they knew just how much thinks would change





This book is totally amazin I was glued to it after page 1 I 've luvd Tia Louise's books so much an after readin her first PNR book One Immoral I was dyin to know what else she had planned an I wasn't disappointed at al this was hot like really hot I luvd how Koa an Mercy got together an how there relationship grown so strong it's was so good to read I thought they story had a great flow an I m dyin for more an I m not a fan of PNR but she as really made me want more I 've not read about shifter I 've had them in other book just not a book where it's been just about them an I really enjoyed it I would actually want more from these to character I think Kia is a great character he is so big an strong an the way he luvs Mercy just made him luv him so much Mercy is a strong woman I did enjoy her just as much there just brilliant together I did luv how the book had a bit of a connection to One To Love that boon is great as well I highly recommend that an this book there just amazin xxx

4 Alpha Shifter Stars

One Insatiable is a standalone and is part of the Woodland Creek series. I adore Tia Louise, she writes steamy reads that keeps any reader interested. This is my second book of hers in the paranormal theme. The first was vampires and now its shifters. You know I love my paranormal romances so I had high expectations.

What I liked first off was that Mercy, the Heroine, and Koa, the Hero, were already shifters. We did have this odd transition phase where they had to figure out what’s going on. I like that both of them were established shifters and I loved that Mercy was part of a family, a dysfunctional one, but a family regardless.

Mercy is a strong girl, she is a female alpha and her life is predetermined. She is just made aware of this and she is having none of it. I kind of like this, even though she’s strong, it feels like she’s a bit of a damsel in need of a Hero.

Koa is not any shifter, but a panther. His coat matches his skin and when he sees Mercy for the first time, it’s pure lust. Usually when I read shifter books, the Hero wants to be mated to the Heroine, but in Koa and Mercy’s story, it’s more lust. I liked that the steam is brought to the beginning. Eventually we get to the romance and Koa and Mercy start to have feelings for each other.

But Mercy’s family isn’t having any of it and does everything they can to make Mercy fulfill her destiny. One Insatiable is a steamy paranormal read. If you like Tia Louise’s previous books and love shifters, then you will not be disappointed. There’s plenty of tension, lust and love to keep you interested.

4 Mercy me stars !!


Tia Louise has created another steamy, sensual, and addictive story and this time with shifters! I love a good shifter story and Tia did not disappoint me with Mercy and Koa’s story.. A story where a little lynx dreams of breaking free from the life that has been planned out for her and panther trying to outrun his path…

Mercy was a great character…. She’s strong and dreams of independence and has a soft heart…. Her life is being planned out for her by her alpha sister and wants nothing more than to break the chains that bind her to the small town she grew up in.

Koa is trying to outrun a past that has left him without a pack while leaving friends behind… he’s been on his own for so long and he doesn’t fit in anywhere.. until he run’s into Mercy.

Their chemistry was immediate and neither tried to deny it.. but they didn’t want to risk the chance of tying themselves to one another when what they both wanted was to get away.. but when it turns out that someone else has plans, perhaps very bad ones, for Mercy, Koa is not about to let anything hurt the little lynx that has come to mean so much to him.

I enjoyed this one and am looking forward to continuing this series and I see lots of potential!

I loved everything about this!

The story centres on Mercy and Koa, both shifters. But where Mercy is a lynx of a long established and well respected clan, akin to royalty, Koa is a rogue panther that has been kicked out of his pack and trying to build a new life for himself after time spent in prison. When dealing with star-crossed lovers, it doesn’t get much more crossed than this.

Both these characters were great! Mercy is a strong girl with a rebellious streak and fighting for her own dreams and independence. Koa is everything you’d expect from an alpha – strong, capable and once he set sights on Mercy, driven by a need to protect and love her. The connection between them was absolutely sizzling and their chemistry burned off the pages and made for some insanely hot sexy times. Both of them are on the precipice of starting new lives however, and with both unsure of what lies ahead they try and fight against the connection.



However, it’s long before they simply can’t fight the attraction but other, more sinister forces are trying to keep them apart. This Romeo and Juliet romance has some great angst and there are many secrets waiting to be unveiled as the story progresses with a lot of players not being exactly who they are, and many more knowing secrets and histories that are vital to Mercy and Koa’s happiness.



I loved the way One Insatiable was written. It was fast paced with lot of delicious angst and epic gestures of love and sacrifice and I adored the elements of mythology thrown into this story. I absolutely recommend this for any love of paranormal romance!

I really enjoyed the connection between Koa and Mercy. In their animal forms, they met... as humans they merged... and it was all so lovely!

For the most part, the paranormal elements were pretty straightforward. There were some original components, which made this story stand apart from the rest, but the plot was a bit wonky. It was like the author was trying to set up the mystery surrounding the characters, to make readers discover answers. However, when the answers came, I was left feeling like I was missing something.

So there's Hades/Hayden. He was a mystery. For most of this book, I couldn't understand his importance. When it was all revealed, it happened so quickly that I still don't know how to feel. I had sympathy for his character, even though he was set up to be the bad guy. I guess I'm truly a sucker for bad boys!

There wasn't much depth to either Mercy or Koa, but it didn't stop me from liking them. I felt their yearning for each other and I think the author did a great job depicting how deep their bond was.

Pleasant surprise!

I'm not a big shifter fan...but let me say I LOVED this book! It grabbed me and held me tight until the last page. I couldn't wait to learn more of this story.

It's a stand-alone with great characters. I highly recommend this book whether you're a paranormal fan or not!

New to me author : I’ve never read anything by Ms. Louise but when I read the blurb, it covered alot of themes that are catnip to me - a shifter romance with a small, strong and feisty heroine with big, strong hero. I loved that it has some diversity, with a Hawaiian hero in Koa. But it’s the villain and the supernatural otherworldly vibe that takes this to another level.

Panthers, lynxes and …? : Woodland Creek was a supernatural town with a creepy vibe going on and it helps elevate this shifter romance in a way I wasn’t expecting. Koa and Mercy cross paths in a meadow in Woodland Creek. Mercy’s born and raised there, but dying to get out. Koa’s just passing through on his way to a new start in California. Coincidentally, the same state Mercy would love to escape to and be an artist, away from her overbearing family and this stifling little town.

Koa knows something drew him to Woodland Creek and strange things start to happen from the moment he gets there. What isn’t strange is his all consuming interest and sexual connection with Mercy. Their chemistry is good, and there’s a love scene straight outta Ghost that made me smile, but it’s later in the story when I really got invested.

There’s a twist : Now, the story was rolling along and it seemed like a fairly standard shifter romance, with Mercy feeling very young and their romance was nice enough, even if it felt very familiar. It’s told from alternating first person perspective and all in all, if it had just been Mercy running from her family, I would have thought it was just alright.

Then, about halfway in, the secrets started to spill out and the story started to take on a fairytale-like angsty quality that I’ll admit reminded me of movies like Legend with Tom Cruise or Labyrinth with David Bowie. If you haven’t watched those, do yourself a favor and check them out on a rainy afternoon. Anyway, long story short, I really liked that vibe and it helped my enjoyment of this tale. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of the villain, perhaps in another book in this series.

Quibbles : The only things that could have made this even better would have been to really build up the individual characters in the first half and delve into their romance beyond the shifter insta-love. Also, I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but I just wanted more of Koa’s backstory and to really understand this ‘verse Ms. Louise has created.

What a sexy paranormal ride! I need my own were-panther, please and thank you. Koa is one of the sexiest men I've read about lately. His troubles stem from a youthful moment of hotheadedness and poor judgment that ended very, very badly. Feeling lost after his punishment, he is roaming across country (as a panther!) while trying to deal with the loneliness of his situation. He is not just a typical traveler, however, and he finds himself passing through a town that is anything but normal.

Mercy is also a shifter—her form, however, is a lynx. What a fun animal to shift into! Mercy is part of an old family who live almost as royalty in the small town. Her sister is the Alpha of their small clan, and Mercy feels oppressed by her overbearing control. I loved how Mercy refused to succumb to the "poor little rich girl" syndrome! She has made friends in town, holds down a job, and *gasp* even takes the bus! Her first encounter with Koa was, Oh. My. Goodness. Yes, goodness is a rather perfect term for it. Boy, was this book full of goodness. Sexy, muscular, sparks flying off the pages, goodness. Yum.

Their relationship is relatively uncomplicated. Yes, they have their drama and their issues. The crazy attraction and respect they feel for each other is enough to overcome those trivial matters. What really throws a wrench in their plans is when the real twist is reveled, and all of Mercy's family secrets come to light. This was so much fun to read about! Such a fun twist on some old mythology that left me unable to put it down. I had to know what was going to happen, just how they were going to get out of that mess, and I was on edge hoping for their Happily Ever After.

So many things to love about this book. This series really. A town where nothing is what it seems, characters who are more than meets the eye, new takes on old tales. And did I mention the sexy shifters? This one is a must read! ~ George, 5 stars

Once again, Tia Louise has knocked it out of the park; this time with sexy shapeshifters. One Insatiable follows the story of Mercy and Koa. The two of them are strong and equally stubborn. All it takes is one night of passion to change things for these two!

One Insatiable is fun, sexy and very entertaining. I love the mix of paranormal characters in a modern world. The characters are easy to connect with and leave you wanting to know more. Koa is intense and on the run from his past. Mercy's life is anything, but easy. She would love nothing more than to run away from the life that has been chosen for her. Koa is a complete game-changer for her. He makes her want things and a life she never thought she could have.

Overall, One Insatiable was a really fun read. I loved the story-line and the paranormal aspects. The characters were entertaining and had great chemistry. I thought it had the perfect balance of drama, action, romance and of course sexy times!

This book was interesting. I liked the story line of the lord of the underworld who holds a previous slight over one family through the generations. I liked Mercy and how she was willing to stand up for herself but not let others get hurt because of her. I do think the author let sex carry the story a bit. I don't have an issue with sex in the story but I think a story should stand on its own without the sex and this one barely did. Overall, an interesting story that I enjoyed.

One Insatiable is the first paranormal book by Tia Louise I have read and I have to say I was grabbed from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Told in dual POV and in first person the characters and story lines were easy and enjoyable to follow.

'I've never been with a big cat. His power overwhelming, yet he'd been graceful and took his time with me . . . Except when he didn't'

Mercy and Koa could not be more different and yet their chance meeting in the woods (followed some extremely HOT sex) but immediately both can tell that it means so much more than a regular hook up but neither is willing to put it into words. Mercy is from an elite family in Woodland Creek and Koa is a vagrant with a past passing through but something has him stopping in this special town and he can't immediately force himself to leave.

Their story while not overly full of angst is riveting all the same with a strong pull towards each other and outside forces trying to pull them apart, One Insatiable is hard to put down. As always Tia is a clean and exciting writer who can write hot sex like no other.

Tia Louise has written a tale that will take you away and have you dreaming of mythical creatures and the bonds they share. With her being fairly new to paranormal I believe she is doing a great job of establishing herself as a para writer and one I cannot wait to red more of.

I must say that Tia has done it again. She has taken a few of our favorite characters and a few new ones to give us another paranormal twist.
Her tales are filled with strong, sexy alpha males that never cease to amaze me. Our man Koa is a lone shifter/panther. He is passing through a sleepy town when he runs into our beautifully sassy shifter/lynx Mercy. Mercy is a love and leave them kind of gal. She does not want to be tied down and has never felt that connection with a man to even give it a whirl. Mercy does have an itch to scratch and Koa may be in for a surprise! . Mercy is from a noble family that makes her feel stuffy and our handsome panther may just be the cure of the evening for a bit fun!
The two of them realize very soon that they may have met their match but neither is backing down or giving in. Our man Koa has decided that maybe he will stop a spell to investigate this little town that is full of surprises, although Koa has a few secrets up his sleeve. The two of them get more than they planned for when an old family curse reals it's head and Mercy becomes the prize. Is Koa strong enough to fight the demons and lies that surround Mercy and her family?
This was a sexy, sassy, intriguing read that keeps you the reader on the edge of your seat! Take a walk on the wild side and give Koa and Mercy a go!!!

Be prepared for the first glimpse of what the humble Woodlands Creek has to offer.
Sexy shifters living among us and stories of witches and vampires to top it all off.
It is like watching True Blood all over again.
There is a storyline that mixes the supernatural with the contemporary, which is a special addition for fans of Tia Louise's previous books.
The hot guy boxer you had a chance to meet seems to actually be more than just a pretty face with fast fists and violent impulses.
Koa was a hardass, solid in his own conviction. His big guy physique and the ever present bad boy vibes were also a treat.
Mercy had a way of pissing me off with her double nature. One minute a hot headed yet sympathetic twenty-something girl, the next a truly cold blooded spoiled kid.
She was truly in need of saving from herself as one helpful soul had a way of putting it.
Together they made the story somewhat 'more'. It was entertaining however I'd much rather see them in a 'real life' setting.

Loved this book and devoured it in hours. Loved how quickly Koa and Mercy fell for each other. But she finds out she can’t be with him, there’s a promise her family has made. But they are mates, can Koa rescue her? I did cry at one point, loved being this emotional. This book is really great and I highly recommend it.

One Insatiable is an incredibly brilliant and deeply touching story that will light your world on fire with its tremendous heart and boundless soul. Everything about this story will bring you to your knees in awe of its beauty, its creativity, and its purity. I consider this amazing masterpiece to be a priceless treasure that brightens my world and encourages and enlightens my heart. My heart and soul sighs in utter contentment while reading such a rich and generous tale of love and hope.

Koa lived his life as most men do – on his own terms and following his dreams. He was on top of the world until it all went miserably wrong one fateful night. He now moves from day to day in a dark and hopeless existence. He would give anything for a semblance of a life he could love and cherish, but in his heart, he knows that is no longer possible. Mercy is anxiously waiting for the right time to chase her dreams. Just when her time feels so close that she can almost taste it, an extraordinarily breathtaking love sweeps her off her feet. With everything in her, she doesn’t want to give it up, but this just isn’t the time for something to hold her back even a love as magnificent as this one feels like it could become. I was completely blown away by this extraordinary story that stole my heart and breathed life into my soul. This was a huge blessing to me throughout the time I was I was able to read it. I needed some encouragement and hope, and this was such a wondrous gift during that time. The characters were outstanding and so wonderful to get to know. I loved experiencing the journey that we walked on with Koa and Mercy. It was truly unique and very touching. I loved the beautiful mix of myth, magic, and normal life. It was truly perfect and I hated to see it end. There is nothing better than a story that leaps off the pages and makes its home in your heart. Nothing is more meaningful and exquisite!

Tia Louise is a hugely accomplished and wildly talented author who has effortlessly made me a huge fan! I can’t get enough of her amazing works of art, and I challenge every romance and literary lover to pick up one of her books. You will not be disappointed!

In this book we meet Mercy and Koa. In this book we have the paranormal realm that we encountered in One Immortal. In this book Koa is headed as far away from whee he use to live because he has been thrown out of his pack. Koa decides to head to California but he decides that he doesn't want to go by conventional methods. He is going to let his cat run it. Along the way he get drawn to this little town that he has never heard of before. He doesn't know why but both he and his cat agree there is something or someone that they need to help in this town.

Mercy has lived in Woodland Creek all of her life but she knows she wants something more. If only she could get her alpha/sister to see that as well. Dylan is hard on her sister but she has a secret she is keeping from her. Mercy wishes she had a better relationship with her sister/alpha but knows there is something that both she and her aunt is not telling her. The more frustrated Mercy gets the more she just wants to let linx out to run away from it all.

This is an amazing book about love, acceptance, and determining what you really want most in this world. This book is an amazing journey that both characters must take together and alone. They must determine what they are willing to sacrifice and what they are ultimately fighting for. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

What do you get when you mix Tia Louise and paranormal- hot as hell shifters and lots of sexy time. One hot panther and one sexy lynx hook up for one night- leaving them both wanting more. Determined, strong and stubborn both of the shifters are running but for different reasons.
One Insatiable is fun and exciting- moments that make you question which world you belong- the human or the scorching shifter world- where everything is more intense.
Koa is running from his past- a past that haunts his memories and leaves him alone. The tall, dark shifter feels pulled to Woodland Creek, he just does not understand why he is there-
Mercy is running into her future- wanting to spread her wings. She has been sheltered from the truth of her family’s history leaving her life uncertain.
Koa and Mercy discover there is more than a physical reaction when their lives collide- a connection that is stronger than the need to run from the small town with so many secrets- but now the biggest secret is revealed- but will it be too late to free themselves from the small town.
Tia Louise once again created a world that leaves us begging for more. One Insatiable bring new characters to life and brings old friends back to visit.

Mercy and Koa are one hot sexy shifter pair. A lynx and a panther, not necessarily a match from the start, but as their story grows you can't help but feel the heat of their attraction. Mercy is headstrong and stubborn, but finds something intriguing about this stranger in her territory. Koa may have thought he was just passing through, but Mercy will be the reason he may have to stay. Sexy and sultry, this pair is off the charts with their heat!! Can't wait to see if the author will continue her dips into the paranormal romance genre. So far, I am in love with this side of the authors writing. Well, for starters, Tia Louise’s hallmark is penning tough yet sensitive alpha heroes but Koa surpasses all expectations. This uber-sexy shifter is both fiercely protective and exquisitely gentle. An intoxicating combo! Whether he prowls the forest in panther form, with his sleek, gorgeous muscles, lashing tail and powerful shoulders, or shifts back to his alpha male human persona, commanding the room and with his towering presence, imposing strength, and raw sex appeal, he is every woman’s fantasy fulfilled. To say Koa and Mercy share a combustible chemistry is an understatement. Their first encounter is sweltering! Mere moments after they scent each other’s presence, they are drawn tougher like a magnetic force, surrendering completely to their aching, elemental need.

But their coupling is much more than purely physical. As in all of Tia’s books, her characters also share a celestial connection from the start, and in this mystical paranormal world, it is even more alluring. Baring witness to these two feline shifters sensual mating rituals, as their lonely hearts beat in tandem and their bodies become one is bewitching. Visceral. Utterly intoxicating. Moreover, as the plot unravels and they find themselves living—and loving--on borrowed time, we seem them bond, mate, and heal spiritually in provocative and profound ways.

Mercy and Koa’s forbidden love is a strong throughline, serving as the main touchstone of the story, and the romantic elements are nicely balanced by the paranormal. And low and behold, we even get treated to brief cameos by fan favorites Derek and Slayde! Another highlight for me is the mythological world Tia concocts. Woodland Creek, a town founded by five powerful families, wizards and shifters, has a history of unexplained phenomena, supernatural visitors and happenings, and fans of Greek mythology will be immediately drawn into the mystical folklore. dark Hades underworld, and breathtaking adventure.

So if you are clamoring for a sexy shifter romance with romantic angst, an undercurrent of mystery, and smoldering hot passion, satisfaction is 100% guaranteed with ONE INSATIABLE!

One Insatiable is part of the Woodland Creek Collection (30 Authors. 30 Shifter Stories) it is a book loosely related to the One to Hold Series because some characters from that series make an appearance here as well, but it can be read as a standalone novel. This is a brilliant re-telling of a couple timeless mythological tales; if you are any familiar with Roman and Greek mythologies, you will easily recognize the story of the Rape of Proserpina and the sad, sad story of Orpheus and Eurydice. It doesn't matter if you are not, Author Louise's wonderful mixing of those ancient narratives with a paranormal twist makes the book a page-turner regardless.

Mercy Quinlan is a self-defence teacher at Andy's Gym, Woodland Creek. She is tough, she is independent and she needs to live life on her own terms like she needs her next breath; she is the youngest sibling in a linx pack and she deeply resents her alpha sister, Dylan's, control. Mercy also comes from money, she is Woodland Creek nobility, and she will painfully find out that with privileges often come obligations whose true nature will threaten everything she holds dear: her loved ones, her liveliness, her freedom, her beautiful soul. Mercy is a strong young woman who knows what she wants her life to be. Until she runs into her soulmate.

Koa "Stich" Raiden is an ex middleweight boxer, a shifter banished from his panther pack, a man running from his past. While on his way to Seattle in his animal form, he feels himself strangely drawn to Woodland Creek, where he gets a totally unexpected hook-up with a beautiful linx, This is the beginning of Mercy and Koa's amazing lovestory, one that had me frantically tap the screen of my Kindle, oblivious to almost anything going on around me.

Mercy and Koa surrender to their passion under the moonlight, but what was meant to be just a one night stand rapidly evolves into something more profund, something that will help them fight their enemy. The intensity of their feelings for one another, the off-the-chart hot sex, their willingness to sacrifice everything for the good of the other, their determination to not give in to their destiny, feel all too human and truly stand out when everything else in their lives gets nightmarish. Time is not on their side either, and she's running fast towards a tragic finale in a crescendo of contrasting emotions that left me breathless. Help will come in the most unexpected way, and justice is served eventually, But what an emotional rollercoaster this book is!!

This is my second paranormal novel by Tia Louise and she has become my favourite author in paranormal romance. I love how her attention to details draws you into the story and gives a soul to both characters and the spaces they inhabit. I love shifter characters because they remind us über-rational readers of the importance of our 'animal' side and its connections to nature. I love paranormal genre because it always gives a plausible explanation to those uncanny events every one of us experience in their lives. Have you ever found some item of clothing hidden outside in some unusual place? Well, that might be a shifter's, who left it there when he/she transformed and will come back there to retreive it. We wouldn't want some hunk of a man going around butt naked...wouldn't we?

In Mercy and Koa's story there are a bunch of unforgettable secondary characters whose back stories I would really love to know better: Koa's parents, goofy Jim and his wonderful auntie Doris, Mercy's sister Darcy and their aunt Penny. There is also Derek Alexander, paranormal PI, and his employees – but those have their stories told in the One to Hold Series. All of them help the lovebirds find their HEA in any way they can, and it looks an all kind of promising place to be because:
