Ankit Mishra has been writing since childhood, when his mother gave him a blank paper on which to write down his poems. (Much later, when he thanked her for being the spark that ignited his writing career, she revealed that she’d given him the paper to make him express his thoughts, because - “Ankit was quite an introvert back then.”)
Ankit published his book, Out of {b}Order, in 2016. Since then, Ankit has published his poems in multiple international anthologies and in more than three languages.
Ontario Canada-based, Ankit received his bachelor’s engineering degree from Lucknow, India, and is currently working as a technologist for a Miami-based firm.
In addition to being a prolific writer, Ankit is a Photographer, and spends his time visualizing the poetry of the world beyond words. Ankit passionately follows the philosophy of Melvana Rumi (a 13th-century Persian poet) and believes in his maxim, “What you seek is seeking You”.
Ankit currently lives in Oakville, Ontario, and actively writes on social media under the pen name of “DrunkardPoett”.
