Love doesn't exist only in the light. Travel to the Underworld and get lost in the dark with erotic tales of sensuality, lust, and the quest to find love...
The dating scene in Hell is rough for a woman who embodies the essence of pure hope, but Dora is trusting that death demon, Alphonse, won’t mind introducing her to a little sin. Her plan to convince Alphonse she’s no innocent demon-in-training, takes a wicked turn, when Alphonse decides to show her exactly how decadent his needs are.
Laurel is a romance author, who like most writers loves to read. She has no one favorite genre to read because she believes "a good story is a good story" regardless of what genre it's published under. However, her first love (pun intended) is romance. From the sappy romantic chick flick, the sappy YA romance novel to the more risque erotica novels, Laurel is a sucker for a good love story.
Laurel writes paranormal and contemporary romance. She is a self proclaimed, out of the closet nerd, and admits that she can't seem to avoid adding a bit of "nerdology" or "geek-dom" to all of her stories. Living in Miami, she also admits that she can't seem to avoid giving her heroines gorgeous shoes, "In Miami, we worship everything strappy, open toed and just plain hot!"
This had the potential to be so much more. Demons...as humans with tails. Tails an extra controllable appendage for breast constriction. Liked the premise of start at Bacchus's party but could describe the orgy in play more than passing reference. Dora the demon...of what, and Alphonse...demon of death...no way did characters fit. If you had understanding of their demonic role it would have boosted things. Imagination of demonic role and where demons reside even better. As is these could be humans with tails, n a bed! Beds are human inventions. This was a hot sex scene...some brief, too brief, voyeurism of guardians...lacked sufficient explanation of their roles. Can they see the main characters after during their lustful interlude? Too many lost opportunities when potential for more. Borderline three stars as is. I would be seriously tempted to rewrite after more thought. Oh and Laurel, good editor needed, handful of typos in short is handful too many.
Ready for a sexy scene with a Death demon and Hope? Dark Submissions is a single scene centered around Dora and her desire for Alphonse to recognize her as a lover. What Dora doesn't realize, is that Alphonse already claimed her, he is just hesitant to make the final physical move.
This story is easy to follow with smooth dialog between Dora and Alphonse. There is a bit of sexual tension as the two have yet to culminate their burning desire. This bit of unfulfilled need creates a nice conflict. The graphic sexual orgy is nicely set up and panty wetting goodness. Both Dora and Alphonse are uncomplicated characters who know what they want yet fear the other may not be able to handle their dark secrets.
For those who need plot development or character building, this is not the book for you. For those who enjoy erotica with excited abandonment, this is the book for you. This short tale for the most part is all sex with a dash of romance. It is easy and fun to read. Recommended for erotica lovers who enjoy males with a talented tail.

Wow.. what an intense read. For such a short novella this surely packs a punch. The intensity of the feelings between Hope and Alphonse fills the pages. When Hope is tired of the chaste kisses that her death demon seems intent on giving her even as she burns for the more she knows he can deliver, her plan to entice and intoxicate come to a surprising fruition.
Alphonse has been holding back, but the moment he sees his woman dancing naked and displaying her charms, he knows he can wait no longer.
Erotic and well written, with emotional connections. Highly recommend. Looking forward to read more of this author's work
Dark Obsessions will be a very steamy series for erotica readers. The story was quite short and lacked character development, world development and real in depth dialogue. The entire book was one long sex scene that we knew would happen from the first chapter. Cremant writes erotica well and his all the right details to make you "see" what's happening. The book needs better editing as many words were missing as well as punctuation in some places. Overall, it was an interesting sex scene which made the book stand out. The cover of the book is superb.

Review copy provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review. Short Sexy Hot Demon Story. A quick short story about two demons who haven't been able to tell each other how much they mean to each other. Finally, Dora, the demon of Hope has had enough and gets herself invited to a wild demon orgy. She hopes her big strong demon of Death, Alfonso, will decide to step up and take her like the hot sexy demon she is. Enjoyed the book. Recommend the book to anyone who likes demons, hot sex, and romance all together.
