The strategies given here are totally unrealistic. Like creating complex charts that would take 4+ min to solve. No one is going to do that on test day.

The practice sets don't seem very representative of the real thing, either.

Having just read through the humongous SAT books, I appreciate what MANHATTAN PREP has done with their test preparation series. They've broken it up into multiple guides--which while more pricey at least means you won't strain your wrists from hefting a huge volume around.

This book on ADVANCED QUANT is for those who have at least a 47 score in the Quantitative math section .AND. you've finished the 5 other strategy guides: Algebra, Fractions-Decimals-Percents, Geometry, Number Properties, and Word Problems.

So, given that this book is the last of 6 you can probably guess that it's purpose is to prepare you for the HARDEST problems on the GMAT test.

**What earns this book 5 Stars from me is that the authors walk you through the solution process. I've seen so many test books this year that just give people the problem and the answer and that's it. This book, properly used, should aid you to develop your own mental tools to add to your test-taking repertoire. They remind you of the math procedures and they teach you ways to approach the hardest problems, even when your stumped.

Well done.
