Sergeant Delaney, outmoded and out-gunned, has been tasked with bringing down a rogue Police NT robot rampaging through Los Angeles. He and his young partner must question their own understanding about what defines them as human as they fight to bring down the mechanical beast.
I listened to the Audible audio version of this story.
"A Strangely Cool and Unique Short Story"
NT-5: A SHORT STORY was pretty interesting. I like this style of audiobook with some sound effects. The story was very creative as well. I thought it was pretty neat and especially knowing Mark Lingane did the whole thing himself. He's the author and narrator. I'd be interested in hearing more. This was pretty action-packed for being only 39 minutes long.
MARK LINGANE as the narrator was pretty good. He has a good vocal range and I liked his fast-pace. Along with Sergeant Delaney, he also did a good female character. For me it was easier to keep up with the story at the pace it was due to the style.

BOOK REVIEW..... The story was intriguing. I really liked the ending twist. Didn't see it coming at all. It posed and interesting question. If you could have someone you loved back from the dead by means of artificial life would you take it?
AUDIO REVIEW......Mr Lingane is both the author and narrator for the story. He does a fairly good job of narrating his story and bring life to it. The only thing negative about it I found was that he read it way to fast. He needs to slow it down some. Especially during action scenes. He was a little hard to follow at times. But over all it was good

This was a very interesting short story with a good plot line. I feel that it kept the reader interested all the way through. There was quite an interesting and also shocking ending to the story that this reader did not expect.
