Lives will be lost and forever changed in this epic conclusion.

Taking a bullet was the least of my worries. My secret was out. I couldn't hide any longer. Finally, I could go home.

Only the danger still lurked in the darkness. Watching. Waiting for the perfect time to strike.

No one was safe. Especially with the amount of revenge my attacker sought. The happily ever after I so desperately wanted seemed bleak, and in the end, my future would depend on the man I fought to push away.

I went into this book not knowing what the outcome would be for Mattie and Emily's. I fell in love with this authors writing last time and she didn't disappoint me this time around either. I felt every emotion possible, that you could think of. Held all the air in my lungs, cried, laughed, cussed at the people that couldn't hear. But most all even though I feel sad that it's over, I'm complete. What a wonderful job A.m. Guilliams. I can't wait to read Jer and Nathan now.. Yes, I said Nathan.. I wish I could put a spoiler in here but I will refrain.. This is a must read!!!!

Could A.M. Guilliams top her last book? The answer is yes she can, and she has.
In this conclusion to Mattie and Emily story I've laughed, I've cried (no easy task) and I've yelled.
Gripping and intense, this story will keep you hooked to the very last page.
Do Mattie and Emily have to many problems to overcome or will they live Beautifully Together?
I suggest you read and find out. You wont be disappointed.
Good job Amanda, you made the 'Ice Queen' cry!

Matt and Emily begin this book with their relationship in tatters. They both have huge secrets in their life and they need to let go of their pasts to mend the relationship. Tragedy strikes when Emilys past comes back with avengence and Matt decides that his past needs to be laid to rest if he wants a future with Emily. They both go through many ups and downs while coming to terms with their pasts. Not only does Matt struggle with his own demons but he also must fight to control Emily's. They know that they love each other more than anything but the question remains will it be enough to get them through their tragedies. After many tragic events Matt and Emily with the help of friends and family will finally be able to decide how their lives are meant to be. As their past lives haunt them it has also made them who they are now and they both need to learn to accept that.

This was such an amazing and emotional read. Matt and Emily fight so hard for their relationship and I spent at least half of this book in tears. The characters are so well defined that you can feel every emotion they have. It will make your heart weep and make it sing at the same time. There are many surprises in this story too which makes it that much more captivating. You won't put it down once you delve into the rest of Matt and Emilys lives. This is so beautifully written and is definitely a must read. I absolutely loved it!

I started Beautifully Tainted right after finishing Beautifully Together. I enjoyed the story and was very grateful to be able to see what happened next in the story. Matt & Emily are a beautiful couple who are struggling to live their lives free of their pasts. Both of them have huge skeletons weighing them down and the constant drama was a little draining at times.

Their friends were minor characters, but critical to the telling of the story, but we didn't really get to know them as well as you do minor characters in some other books. Being able to see the lives of Matt & Emily as they went about living their lives with a huge shadow over their lives was emotional as the reader. I cheered for them. I cussed them, but I still loved them.

The story was endearing and I couldn't wait to see how she would wrap up their story -- if she would. I feel like the book had a great ending and I look forward to seeing what she puts out next!

My only concern for Ms. Guilliams' writing is that I wish she had a better editor. There were several places in the book where the editing was poor and distracted from the story.

This book picks up right where book one ended. Emily is in the hospital recovering from the gunshot and concussion she suffered at the hands of Araya. Matt has been by her side the whole time pleading with her to wake up. Mason is the lead detective on the case and Matt ends up sharing Emily’s secret past to help Mason with the case. Sophia and Jeremiah are still hiding their relationship of sorts but are also right there for Emily. There is another major surprise in the book that had me squealing in joy! The story is well written and the plots flows very well. The character’s development since book one continues to grow. I enjoyed seeing how they all played off of each other. This book is suspenseful and has you intrigued from the start. The author has done a stellar job in this second book of the series. I truly cannot wait to read more from this author. I am thoroughly impressed.

To say this book was amazing is an understatement. A.M. Guilliams took this second book to a new level. Her first book was amazing, but this second one took my breath away. Her writing alone is breath taking, her ability to capture a readings heart and mind is just crazy. I was hooked from the first chapter, I was excited to read the next chapter to Mattie's and Emily's life together. Just as I expected A.M. Guilliams left me totally excited, happy and every emotion in one when I finished this book. This series is great and I can't wait to read more from this author. If you have not read this series yet, please do so. You will not be disappointed :):):):):)

What a phenomenal ending. After reading book one I knew this was going to be great story. Mattie and Emily are such a cute couple. This book had me crying both happy and sad tears. The look into Emily's past was very interesting and brought some great new characters to the story. Mattie's secret was finally revealed and the reaction Emily had made me reach for my Kleenex. While the story did have a mostly HEA, I was kind of sad that one of the characters I was very fond of will not be in future books.

I am glad A.M. is a fast writer so I will get my hands on Jeremy and Sophia's book soon.

I loved the first book, but this was even better! I didn't think it would happen, but it did. At one point in this book I screamed so loud and burst into tears. Wow! I felt every emotion reading this, and the ache I felt in my chest finally eased off by the time I finished Beautifully Together. Matt and Emily are such a sweet couple. They have the kind of "forever love" that most people dream about :) This was definitely a page turner. I read it in just a couple of hours...IT WAS THAT GOOD! I must add....I need more NATHAN!!!

Emily is pregnant with Mattie's baby. She changed her identity and ran from California gang members after they tortured her and now they have a hit out on her. I didn't read the first book, but I didn't have too hard a time catching up. Mattie also has a secret past that he wasn't ready to reveal to Emily. The book begins with Emily being rushed to the hospital because she was shot in the stomach. I thought the writing and pacing of the book was really good. The story drew me in right away and held my interest. A good, romantic thriller. 4 stars.

Huge suspense and HEA

This book was the end of Matt and Emily's story. Of course it will continue through the others books.
This book along with the first one emotionally gutted me at times. No one should have to look over their shoulders constantly.
Emily was popular with the guys in her life through this book. But only one kept her going.
Read all about Matt and Emily's HEA!

The amount of grammar errors, incorrect word usage, and awkward sentences was enough to take me out of the story and make me roll my eyes multiple times.
