Stretch: Lessons in Faith from the Life of Daniel

Rate this book
• What is faith in a post-modern world? • In a post 9/11, post Tsunami world? • In a post-Christian world? • Surrounded by hostility to the idea of truth, can we keep our faith intact and still have a voice? The answer is yes! Just as Daniel resisted assimilation into the ways of Babylon, Gerard Kelly shows how we can survive and even prosper in an alien culture. He looks at the kind of faith we need to make a difference, not dependent on surroundings, but on a strong, vibrant relationship with God, that survives and thrives against opposition and persecution.

A deep dive into carrying faith with us, as Daniel did during the exile in Babylon. Well written and full of challenges for being a Christian who can reach those who need to hear of God's love.
