Much respect to the author, as the last thing I can envision myself ever doing is walking for months on end! I quite enjoyed this book. It was lovely to walk to Jerusalem through the eyes of someone who was there--it's a walk I'm quite sure I'll never take otherwise! It seems that in the world today, it is difficult to find the good in people when we are surrounded by so much of the bad; however, I've always believed that at their core, people are good. So many people that the author met along the way were a reminder of this to me.
