I'm not really sure how I feel abut this story. The chemistry between Dominic and Valerie was not tangible to me. Thru inner monologues of both characters, we know they both found each other attractive and wanted each other sexually. Maybe it was the timeline that didn't play well into this courtship. Decent plot, but not told in a way that made anything stand out for me. The intrigue with the father and Giovanni not properly represented or capitalized. Maybe part 2 will bring this story to life for me.

Would have been higher.....

Could have been a higher score if not for the double wordings in the novel. She was supposed to be a "bw" but then she's described as going from dark hair to blonde hair to blonde streaks. And what black woman you know have pink nipples. This is just one of the "flubs" If the next installment is like this I'm not sure I'd be interested

Wow! I loved it

I enjoyed the book and now I have to wait until the next series comes out...I don't like that. I loved the strength of Valerie. Dominic is a true alpha strong and no nonsense...a determined guy. I hope to read more on Antonio.I recommend this book to read just be prepared for cliffhanger.

Great Rush and so Sensual

I love a strong woman who can decide what she wants in a man and not so weak in showing it. Dom is the fantasy of every woman who wants a strong, virile man who knows what he wants and speaks it and demonstrates it. The love attraction was on spot. Great story and I'm biting at the bits for the follow up!!!

Great story

I enjoyed this book. The characters were great and relatable. Looking forward to what comes next in the storyline. Can't wait.
