I write books. I've always been a writer. I know it's cliche but I started writing almost as soon as I learned to read. I wrote a play for school--in the third grade--that they put on for Christmas that year. I've never quite forgiven my sister for getting married that night. I missed my own production!
I've worked in various fields throughout my career. I was a cop, EMT, photographer, journalist, high school English teacher for special education, and most recently, a published author.
I enjoy using the skills I've learned in those jobs in my writing. A little less research is needed when I write books with police or medical information.
Authors write because they have a story to tell. They publish to tell you their story. Please be sure to leave a review when you read a book you enjoy. We do appreciate it, I promise.
I had forgotten about this series . glad I'd found it again. A new witch who is powerful and don't know it and she can see the spirit of the missing brother. With her help they all should be able to get their brother body back and get rid of their evil father.
I really like this series and this book. However, I gave it four stars because it's a cliff hanger. Not just a cliff hanger, but it literally stops in the middle of a scene.
"Karma Steele" is the eighth book in the "Karma's Witches" series. Steele has the weight of the world on his shoulders. His father is addicted to power, and has crossed the line many times to get what he wants. This time it comes in the form of murder and the theft of Ian's body. But what about Ian's spirit? Steele has no idea where it could be. All attempts to contact him have failed. Summer is an independent witch with the lineage that traces back to the Salem Witch Trials. On her way to work, Summer runs into the spirit of a man that is desperate to get her to get into contact with his family. Unknown to her that just by acknowledging Ian's presences will set her life in a new and dangerous direction. Overall, I love this new addition to the series. It takes the overall plot line in a new direction. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the Witches of Karma.
I had forgotten the characters in this series...I enjoy the banter, but the drop off in the middle of the action is frustrating! Especially since the next novel isn't available.
These stories get better and better with each book. This one we get our first introduction to Ian and all the sisters meet their brothers. This showed some of the brothers physical powers that their father wasn't able to steal.
