I selected this book to read because my dad was and my son is a pharmacist. I've worked in pharmacies with my dad when I was young. I just knew something I had seen would be in here. Oh, yes! We had no drive-thru, but crazy is crazy in the 1960's or 2020. I'm so glad I got this to read!!
This was a collection of strange and unusual people and situations experienced by a pharmacist. All manner of people visit the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Those encounters are funny and frightening. This short book shows what your pharmacist team has to deal with on a daily basis. An entertaining short read.
These are somewhat funny stories written by a pharmacist. They are about picking up prescriptions and excuses why they need more before it is time for a refill. This is a very short book.
I never thought much about problems pharmacists go through with customers. This is a quick read and quite funny/interesting. People will say most anything to get certain meds!
This book is Chuck full of humorous stories dealing with pharmacy customers. I've read books from a doctor/nurses perspective and will say this book is just as good.
Almost every one of these scenarios will ring a bell with any experienced retail Pharmacist. We all have our own stories as well, I'm sure. You are NOT alone in the crazy world of retail!
Thanks for the laughs! I bet you have a lot more stories to share! Great read. I was sorry when I finished reading it. I hope you're going to share more!
I don't know exactly when this book was written but I'm pretty sure people don't say "deaf and retarded" anymore. I wish I could figure out where Amazon hides the actual books that have editors and publishers and proofreaders.
I totally enjoyed reading all of the stories as a friend of mine worked in this field for 30 years, was only disappointed that I could not find this book in paperback form as I would have loved to buy and send her a copy .She lives 3,000 miles away and would have enjoyed a good chuckle 😀.
