2.5 stars. Had great potential, but it felt like you were starting in the middle of the book. The two were apparently in a multi year relationship, then broke up and he went mia for four years only to show up a few pages in. I would have rated this much higher if you were given a whole story and not just a piece. It has so much potential. Also, any shifter book where people do it in partial or wholly shifted form is icky. no thanks on that.
As this author evolves I can potentially see many 5 star books in the future.
