Kennedy needed to get away. What better way to do that than go on a road trip? Open road, no plans, no one getting in the way. At least, not until she ran into motorcycle riding Emmerick in Oklahoma. He left his trip with his pals to follow her. He was persistent in his flirting, and she was unreceptive. That all changed when she leaned on him in a night of weakness.
Uncharted is a good escape read, the tale of two young adults, Kennedy and Emmerick, who flirt with life and each other. My favorite parts were when each were finding and making their own ways in life after their initial encounter and time spent together. They met, had an adventure, go their separate ways, work through some growing up, and then figure some things out for themselves along the way. Not sure if a second book is due out, but it would be interesting to see where these two go in life after Uncharted.
