He's annoying. He's dangerous. He smells terrible. But the public love him. That's right- the Merc with the Mouth may make money for missions of murky morality...but he's become the most popular hero in the world for it. Eat that, Spidey! The world belongs to...Deadpool. The fan favorite team of Gerry Duggan and Mike Hawthorne return to bring Deadpool into his most successful adventures yet!

In 2015, this commando unit of crackheads should be sent to prison, buy instead -- because everything is pretty horrible now in America -- these bullies, cheats and murderers are dressed as Deadpool and more popular than ever. They flourish as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can pay them, maybe you can hire... Deadpool's Heroes For Hire!

description

A Deadpool parody of the A-Team theme was easily the high point of this issue. After that I'm reminded of the fact that I don't like Deadpool. The humor just doesn't do it to me and the additional violence is really not something I want to see. Hopefully I remember this the next time I go to read a Deadpool comic.

I would say that this one fits into that 3.5 star category. Fun read, but really should a character like Deadpool be a fun read? Exciting yes! Enjoyable yes! but Fun? Interesting storyline and a great twist at the end so I would say that this is going to be a very good series that will only pick up steam as it goes. I strongly recommend this one!

You know how the first one was kinda shitty? Well they kinda almost fixed their mistake, but are still backed up against a corner. I will say though, it's nice that they started fixing the mistake before it started to get worse, which it would have, and very quickly.
You know how I said that the first one was lacking in both Wade Wilson and Humor? Well guess what mother-fuckers they fixed that!
There was plenty of humor this time around. I ready do enjoy seeing Wade act like a complete asshole to the other "Deadpools" and such. I have to wonder why they chose not to do this in the pilot. Also for you Marvel geeks out-there Slapstick was used for the first time in years which I found to be an entertaining throw-back.
As a whole it was a bit easier to follow as well.
Despite all of the improvement though, Wade didn't actually do much... which I find kind of sad. It just feels like this new series has been without heart.
Verdict:
73/100

This one confirmed what I suspected from the last one. And I am happy with that reveal.

Well, I'll be damned.. it gets better.

I liked this one.

Deadpool's Heroes for Hire are doing jobs here and there, well "jobs" they're saving people but they get no payments.

Funny moments here and there, but what got me is the cliffhanger at the end. Gets interesting.

Someone's out to destroy Deadpool, someone from his own team? Maybe? Dunno but I'm glad the 2nd issue wasn't boring like the first one.
