Contains images w/watermarks indicating the author/publisher did not gain the rights to publish the images😨
This is bold copyright infringement. I've never seen a book that includes shutterstock watermarks. The watermarks are intended to prevent this sort of nonsense!

Good introduction to Calligraphy
The book introduces coverage of the major styles. At the end are some heuristic exercises. I was looking for full page size copyable illustrations. There are thumbnail illustrations which can be enlarged, but I wasn’t able to print them.

very basic
Doesn’t actually tell you how to draw the letters. It does tell you about spacing which is better than other books. Again a book that goes into some history and the pens to use rather than details about forming the letters which I would think is its whole purpose.

lacks direction no visual help with learning strokes
Overall the information given was good. I would’ve given another start had there been visual lessons on the proper strokes and better examples of how to build the words.

Not exactly for beginners....
The book is both an educational and fascinating read..... perhaps because I am restarting this craft, it seems to be a bit daunting. Overall, if you have some basic knowledge, this is an excellent inspiration/project book! Lots of excellent ideas - wish there were more images/visual direction in it on the projects....

Ultimate great book
I give this book 5 stars as it is written up nicely, great tips, I would recommend to any crafty person out there. Easy to learn. P.s help with being a lefty info would be also be nice to include.
