A must read for ALL!!! Presents scientific facts to defend the biblical view of a six day creation. I challenge anyone who believes that a cosmic belch is where we all came from to read this book cover to cover.

This book is good for a laugh. Just open to a random page,
and you'll find faulty or fraudulent arguments, one-line
zingers, and evasions that will have any crowd
of scientists giggling. Particularly notable are
the repeated references to 'absolute certainty' being
lacking on science issues. Bayesian statistics mean
that 'absolute certainty' implies infinite statistical
weight, and observations (or better, repeatable experimental
observations) are to be ignored (they don't add to certainty).
No scientist will ignore observations! Absolute certainty
is absurd/anathema/taboo, of COURSE we don't claim to have that!

Pros: Interesting blurbs and stories.
Cons: Very jumbled and disorganized; nearly incoherent presentation.

Overall: The opening to chapter one says it all: “Dirt + water + time = living creatures,” (page 17, The evolutionary formula for making life). Beyond that, the material that follows contains terrific self-contradicting quotes from top evolutionists, such as Charles Darwin. However, the potentially 5-star material in this book is rendered useless by its haphazard presentation in blurbs of text. Reading the awkwardly arranged narrative is like listening to a group of people in a bar talking about what caused their favorite sports team to lose the game, as they each interject something into the conversation.

Summary: A very poorly presented set of interesting quotes and details that renders the text unreadable. Although packed with potential, the rambling disorganized work is not recommended by this reader.

This is a large (992 pages) and amazing book that anyone that loves studying science, evolution or apologetics should have! This book covers everything from Evolution theory history, Big Bang, cosmic/stellar/chemical/organic/macro/micro evolution, dating methods, DNA, Mutations, fossils, strata, vestiges, archeology and soooo much more! It also has a very easy to use index in the back so if you currently need to understand or know a specific topic you can usually find it in the index.
This book uses science to clearly disprove many problems associated with the theory of Evolution and is worth reading. Keep this book, it can be used a lot, learn how to refute evolutionary errors.

This book is absolute filth and is portraying fiction as fact. It contains only "scientific facts" from bogus scientist who are better at making the great flood fit into modern science than having rational thought. The book founds itself on three basic principles:
1) Einstein's general theory of relativity is wrong and the 'real' scientific community is afraid to say anything about it but a few zealots know the real truth.
2) People lived at the same time as dinosaurs.
3) The flood of the Christian bible is the answer to every question posed by science.

This book has nothing to do with evolution. It is an attempt at making the religion seem relevant in modern times.

This is another great work using limiting factors to destroy the idea of "everything's getting better with time." He also tackles the magic ingredient of "millions and billions of years".

This is a great source of scientific 'proofs' of a young earth, most written by evolution scientists themselves! A must have for any Christian's bookself!

A TIGHTLY-COMPRESSED COMPILATION OF INFORMATION CRITIQUING EVOLUTION

Vance Ferrell is a Seventh-Day Adventist scholar and author; he wrote in the Preface to this 2001 book, “This book contains part of our 1,326-page, 3 volume ‘Evolution Disproved Series,’ which has thousands of items of evidence, plus several thousand quotations of evolutionist scientists. This book provides you with common sense facts which you can use in study, conversation, and research… The scientific facts presented here will help insulate you from the desolating effects of evolutionary theory… By using the table of contents and Index, you can quickly find what you are looking for.” (Pg. 9-10)

He says of “Polystrate” tree trunks: “Upright (polystrate) tree trunks, 10-30 ft. in length, have often been found in coal beds. Yet the coal beds were supposed to have been laid down over millions of years. Why are vertical tree trunks in them? Just after the Mount St. Helens explosion in May 1980, analysis of nearby Spirit Lake revealed many vertical, floating tree trunks in it. During the Flood, such tree trunks would easily have quickly been surrounded by sediments and buried.” (Pg. 59-60)

He states, “the earth has a magnetic field… Dr. Thomas G. Barnes … Working with data collected over the past 135 years… has pointed out that the earth’s magnetic field is decreasing exponentially… This magnetic decay process is not a local process… but worldwide… It has been accurately measured for over 150 years, and is not subject to environmental changes since it is generated deep in the earth’s interior… our earth’s magnetic field … indicates an upper limit of decidedly less than 10,000 years for the age of the earth.” (Pg. 139-141)

He asserts, “it is highly significant that well-authenticated Egyptian dates only go back to 1600 B.C. ! Experts, trying to unravel Egyptian dating problems, have come to that conclusion… Because cosmologists, chronologists, historians, and archaeologists heavily rely on Egyptian dates for their theories, Egyptian dating has become very important in dating the ancient world, and thus quite influential. This is because it purports to provide us with the earliest HISTORICAL dates. There is evidence available that would definitely lower archaeological dates and bring them into line with Biblical chronology.” (Pg. 152-153)

Concerning Origin-of-Life experiments, he comments, “Could a non-oxygen atmosphere ever have existed on Planet Earth? It surely seems like an impossibility, yet evolutionary theorists have decided that the primitive environment had to have a reducing atmosphere,’ that is, one without any oxygen. Now, the theorists do not really want such a situation, but they know that it would be totally impossible for the chemical compounds needed for life to be produced outside in the open air. If oxygen was present, amino acids, etc., could not have been formed. So, in desperation, they have decided that at some earlier time in earth’s history, there was no oxygen---anywhere in the world! And then later it somehow arrived on the planet!... But there is a special reason why they would prefer to avoid a reducing atmosphere: There is no evidence anywhere in nature that our planet ever had a non-oxygen atmosphere! And there is no theory that can explain how it could earlier have had a reducing (non-oxygen) atmosphere---which later transformed itself into an oxidizing one!... a non-oxygen atmosphere is just an assumption---a flight of imagination---in an effort to accommodate the theory.” (Pg. 223)

Of the Miller/Urey experiment, he points out, “There was a trap in the bottom of the glass apparatus to catch a soluble organic products, so they would not be broken down after formation by the spark. (Chemists knew that the Law of Mass Action would almost immediately have destroyed the amino acids that were formed, without a trap to catch them in quickly. The ‘primitive ocean’ must have had similar bottle traps in it…” (Pg. 227-229)

He explains, “The ‘Genesis kind’ is generally equivalent to the species level, but sometimes the genus level. The variation is due to flaws in our humanly devised classification system… ‘Genesis kind’… would be a good word to use, since it is more accurate than ‘species,’ which can at times be incorrect. Other names for the Genesis kind are the ‘Genesis species,’ the ‘true species,’ and the ‘biological species.’ The present author favors ‘TRUE species’ as the most easily understood.” (Pg. 379)

He suggests, “When the Flood overwhelmed the world, the first to be covered were slow-moving animals, the next to be covered were somewhat larger, somewhat faster-moving animals, and so it went. Today we can dig into these rock strata and find that the lowest stratum tends to have the slowest-moving creatures; above them are faster ones. Evolutionist scientists declare that these lowest strata are many millions of years old … But in actuality, we will discover that the evidence indicates that all sedimentary strata with their hoards of fossils were laid down within a very short time.” (Pg. 421)

Of “gaps” in the fossil record, he observes, “This glaring fact is a repudiation of evolutionary theory… No creatures that are half fish and half bird, or half pig and half cow are to be found---only distinct animal and plant types such as we know today. A related problem is the fact that great numbers of fossils span across many strata, supposedly covering millions of years. This means that, throughout the fossil record, those species made no changes during those ‘millions of years.’” (Pg. 446-447) He continues, “Evolutionists know exactly what these transitional forms should look like, but they cannot find them in the fossil record!... the large dinosaurs are not transitional forms, but are just definite species which became extinct in ancient times---probably by the waters of the Flood… extinction of a distinct species is not evolution, and provides no evidence of it.” (Pg. 448)

He notes that “Several scientists have decided that the bones of [Don Johansen’s] ‘Lucy’ come from two different sources… Regarding those knee joints, Owen Lovejoy, Richard Leakey’s highly qualified associate (and anatomist), declared at a 1979 lecture … that a multivariate analysis of Lucy’s knee joints revealed her to be an ape.” (Pg. 542-543)

About the assertion that the appendix is a “vestigial form,” he comments, “it is not useless at all It helps protect you from gastrointestinal problems in the lower ascending colon. The appendix is now known to be an important part of what is called the reticulo-endothelial system of the body. Like the tonsils, the appendix fights infection… Because the appendix become swollen at times, it was said to be vestigial and useless. But people have far more problems with their lungs and stomachs than they have with their appendixes…” (Pg. 720)

He proposes, “Archaeopteryx could well be a unique creature, just as the duckbilled platypus is unique. The Archaeopteryx has wings like a bird and a head similar to a lizard, BUT WITH TEETH. There are a number of unique plants and animals in the world which, in several ways, are totally unlike anything else… The platypus is definitely far stranger than the Archaeopteryx, and there are no transitional half-platypus creatures linking it to any other species.” (Pg. 758)

This information-packed book can be difficult to read at times, owing to VERY heavy use of boldface, italics, and underlining. Much additional information than was included in this book can be found on the related “Evolution Facts” website.

This book is fantastic! It has all the latest science that disproves the theory of evolution. Evolution is an obsolete theory, and this book proves it. Every person of faith should read this book.

--Only read the first chapter, will further review once finished

Clearly isn't a quality scientific novel. The author attempts to appeal to reader through quantity of references, appeals to authority, appeals to oversimplification and is very aggressive in language with little substantial evidence. Simplicity can be very useful however complex topics that scientists are frequently contending often require at the least basic physics/chemistry/maths to be understood, the big bang theory is grossly oversimplified.

Provides many quotes from scientists, appeals to authority, popularity, quantity and shock. Listed quotes do not provide significant evidence, author misrepresented early scientists' views. Opinions are fluid and unreliable, not highly regarded as scientific evidence in journals.

Rarely provides proper analysis- if any analysis at all, instead offers misinterpretations, easily understood which I can imagine appeals to the common reader with preference to divine creation but poorly presented if not blatantly incorrect. Examples: linking darwinism to WW1 and WW2, false application of Darwins ideologies contrasted with the horror of war to sway reader, severely lacks explanation or substantiality. Spontaneous generation. The watch analogy. The two underlying premises of evolutionary theory. On every page there is another problematic proposition or interpretation.

This book so far is forcefully arguing against evolution theory with nothing substantial but only suggests the analysis itself is unreliable due to its lack of evidential presentation or scientific analysis. And I'm certain there are more flaws I haven't mentioned.

I probably wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

Kind of a disappointment. I used this book to help with my World History and Geology courses. I was hoping to be able to argue some of the points in the class, such as how the earth came to be, the first humans, etc. I thought I would find something useful and didn't. I feel the author used his own opinion instead of actual biblical and scientific facts. I think I may have quoted one sentence in the whole book for a project, and wasn't even very confident in that.

so outdated that it should come with a warning that it is what man used to think ( like when the would was flat.) the whole book is written with a biased opinion and all facts MUST only mean what the author wants to tell you. its also bends the facts to point in just one out come, and they only give facts that supports just one outcome. however, when you read it, its obvious that the books conclusions dont make sense.
