I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
To me, this story is a modern day twist on a classic fairy tale that gave me a wonderful afternoon of reading.
Beth is trying something new, venturing out into the unknown and is doing it with help from her friends, who purchased her a six month membership at a local BDSM club. Intrigued, Beth enrolled in a Newbie class and discovered that she was submissive. Part of the class includes interacting with a Dom and she chose Master C.
Master C is really Chris - a CPA who enjoys scening at the club and helping newbies learn about the lifestyle. Its beginning to grow old though, watching everyone have fulfilling relationships while he seems to standing still or taking care of his dysfunctional family.
Their one scene ends abruptly, sending both Beth and Chris in different directions. When life calms down, Chris must make a choice: settle for less or hunt for the temptress of his dreams.

While, this aint the fair tale you grow up with! With an up to date and kinky twist to a classic this story was a good read. I was able to get into it and didnt even know I had hit the last page until I tried to swipe left and there were no more pages. And what a birthday present she got. I would love to be so lucky. Chris and Beth's characters we believable and I could see them as everyday people and that was nice. The fact that Chris liked all women no matter their shape and size was really nice. I hope to be able to read more from this author.
