Carlee and Aaron Bozeman continue to add to their extended family with women seeking refuge at the Sendero Esperanza ranch. Their children, Zackary and Molly, learn about life, love, and loss from these many people who share their home.
Molly, stubborn and seemingly unstoppable, will do anything to protect her friends and family. She doesn’t see things as dangerous or impossible. She sees only a challenge, or the need to right a wrong.
At an early age, Zachary Bozeman becomes the self-appointed guardian for his twin sister and as they mature, he becomes the leader and mentor to the other children who live and work on the ranch.
From the small schoolhouse on the ranch Zack, Molly, and two of the other children raised on the Sendero Esperanza are accepted into the newly established University of Arizona.
As graduation approaches, Zack falls in love with the sheriff’s daughter, Shelby. One night of passion leads to life, death, and a challenge that won’t go unanswered.
