Wow...Fast paced, believable, engrossing!

I'm usually a tough review but this book was great. Fast, easy, and enjoyable. Two main characters haunted by the past and the present fight the occult together. It was realistic and not 'out there.' I highly recommend this three book series.

Enjoyed the paranormal adventures!

I don't read a lot of paranormal stories but this was very fun and exciting! I am glad I had the set of three. It started right away getting me hooked so I didn't want to stop reading. Lots of action and heat supernatural stuff that was super entertaining!

don’t bother.

I enjoyed this author’s other works, but this series isn’t worth the time to read it. Aside from being just a supernatural version of the TV show “person of interest” the writing is lazy and lacks the depth and thoughtfulness of all of Massa’s other series. Very disappointing.

Overcoming the unbelievable

Each story carried on the theme for continued fight between good and evil. These were excellently thought out with great character development. In each case it showed the importance of teamwork to have a chance to accomplish whatever obstacle that needs to be overcome. Each story leaves one wanting to know what comes next.

I'm very impressed with this author! This series is so fast paced, and is full of non-stop action. I honestly feel like each book was better than the last, which is not something that happens often. Talon was a strong main character, and as the series progressed a couple other characters brought more to the story. I loved Adira in the third book! I listened to the audiobook version of the three books, including two novellas. James Foster was the narrator throughout them all, and he is amazing. His voice was perfect for this series. There seems to be one more book out in the series, but is not yet available as an audiobook. When it is released on audio, I will definitely listen to it as well.

Occult Assassin: Dark Missions Omnibus edition includes the first 3 books in the OA series with an additional 2 bonus shorts and clocks in at just under 15 hours. To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about this one when I first started. I had not read any Massa previously and the premise seemed like it may be a little urban fantasy heavy. Luckily for me there was plenty of action to hold my attention throughout and the narration was excellent, which really added to the overall enjoyment and ambiance of the story. A fast moving and well done series. 3.5 Stars

* I received a copy of this audiobook from the narrator James Foster in exchange for an honest review.

This wasn't an easy book to listen to because there was so much graphic violence and death. The story was good and narration was excellent. I'm not sure if I will continue with the series or not.

Magic,the occult& real monsters

Terrific series of books. The benefactor, Casca & the warrior tied by their past experience with the occult. This is a series of fast paced, slam bang thrills & plenty of gore! Hard to put down. The characters are mostly straight forward but they do grow with each new case. Go along for a thrilling ride. Massa is a master.

Not great. Not BAD, mind you, everything was just really overblown. I finished, so it was worth finishig, but I wont be continuing the series.
