Loved this trilogy from Lily!! She wrote of some mighty fine strong characters in all 3 of the books--both women and men!! I read all 3 immediately because of the characters carrying over into the next story and I needed to know what was happening...cause I'm nosey!! lol There were a few surprises thrown in along the way which I will let you read about them...no spoilers here. Loved this Lily and look forward to reading more books from you. Your writing style is just fabulous!!!

A bit of different

I am somewhere between three and four stars. It's a good collection, fun, and glad I read it. The romance/sex scenes both kind of went overboard/eye-roll-and-skip-over most of the time, especially in the last one. Not as in Graphic, but as in "oh god the cliche and how is she looking deep into his eyes when she can't physically turn her head like that...?" sort of too much.

But for all that annoyance, the books are over-all worth the read for some relaxing entertainment. They make you interested in and happy to pick it up again each time you go to continue.

So, I'm at about a 3.5 stars - a smidgen above medium. I'll be reading more of her work, I'm sure.

It was nice to see the wrap up at the end from previous story. A good smile at the end.

The stories span village life over three generations. Strong women who learn trust, love & friendship. Each have uneasy paths to tread but are integral in the health & safety of the clan. They share secrets that could see them banished.

I liked that the women where strong, wise yet feminine. Peeking into village life, how they celebrated, prepare for war as well as the seasons. I enjoyed the journey.

Amazing Series

I loved all three books! And then ending of the third and how it pertains to the first! Truly amazing. Highly recommend this series. You will not be disappointed. Each one has a great love story, but they are intertwined so you feel like you are part of the family! Adventure, very bloody war, women warriors, a witch, and everlasting love make this a great collection!

The Mull Series

Three stirring romances with interrelated characters kept me interested.
Yes, there are some editing mistakes that I am finding are common with ebooks. These did not detract from the stories. The first book has the most.
I prefer to let my imagination fulfill bedroom scenes rather than reading explicit sexual content. I skipped those pages.
The books were entertaining. My thanks.

Awesome read

I love Shoney and felt her pain in having to keep people from seeing what she really looked liked to protect her self. And Ronan with his typical attitude to women and not being able to fight. Loved the fire in Shoney when she stood up to Ronan as well.

Brenna and Duncan
The being of this story broke my heart. I cried for what Duncan and the others suffered. The horrors of war is hard on all but being there and not being able to stop it or help protect the people would be devastating. The struggle for Brenna and Duncan was to see they belonged together was fun. But I cried when it looked like Duncan would not survive from his wounds. Lots of twists and turns in this story.

Nellore and Garik
It was good to see Aidan connected to Shoney and Ronan again through Garik. And I love the warrior woman Nellore was. She knew what she wanted and went after it. And Garik standing up to Duncan when he wanted to marry Nellore.

I loved it!

I loved it because it caught your attention from the first page. The characters grew to life-like beings whom you came to love and root for.
