Rate this book

I love this. Is not so good like "A casa dos patudos" but it still one of my favourites.

I love this book so so so so so much! I really like this book, and it was really emotional. It is a sad story but it was really inspiring. It was about a little boy who lost his father, but the found a little puppy. He started training the puppy, and soon the puppy became a service dog. The little boy had to leave him but then he was happy. I got really emotional reading this, but it was really good and inspiring.

This book is really good and I advise you to read it when you have got the chance to. It’s about this boy called joe who’s dad has died. His mum tries to cheer him up by taking him to this volunteer service to help train dogs become helper dogs. Joe ends up training a dog called patch who he instantly falls for, so when patch leaves, he is devastated. Patch is going to go to a soldier w ho has been wounded in the army, and now needs help. Joe understands that patch has to leave but he cannot face it.

This book is amazing as this is a moving story that helps raise awareness of helper dogs.

I really enjoyed this book having a dog I could really relate to what was happening. When joe has to give patch away to Sam it is bitter sweet because you know it is the right thing to happen but it is sad because patch has such a good bond with Joe which makes me give this book a 5 star rating.

História muito bonita! (Chorei no final!)

I was never a reader until recently but this book was a one off read from several months ago but I really enjoyed it because of the way I felt connected and I knew that I what everyone wanted was for him to keep patch.
I will forever remember this book.

A lovely book especially for young people, the moving story of the role a puppy plays in a youngster's life, just after he lost his Father. Joe is going to learn to train this Pup so he can become a Helping Dog and make someone's life very happy - in the mean time, Joe's life and his Mother's also change for the better. And even their neighbor, the grumpy old gentleman, gets transformed in the process.

Not amazing, but I read this to see if the author was suitable for my daughter. It's a good clean story with good messages. Children who love animals will enjoy this.
