I have only read Taming The Biker by Cassie Alexandra currently so my review is based on that novella, but as I read the others in this Anthology, I will update my review to include those also. I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.
This is actually the first book of Ms. Alexandra's that I have had the pleasure to read, but I can say with certainty, that it will NOT be the last! I was worried that because this novella was being released as like book 4.5, that I would be lost in the story line or that the characters would be weak, but that was not the case at all. The story line flowed very well and the Prologue in the beginning of the book is very well-written and provides the reader with all the information needed to make sure the story line flows well and the reader isn't left wondering. Also, the H and the h of this story are obviously the main focus in this novella and the character development of these two is spot on. But what impressed me also, is the fact that even though this was a shorter book, the author still took the time to give us enough information on the secondary characters in the story so that I at least felt that they belonged in the story and not just tossed into the story line to add to the word count. The author made sure we had some idea who these characters were and how they fit into the overall story line. For this reason alone, I most definitely will be reading the first four books that are already released at this point. Amazing job, I look forward to reading more!

This is a review for Antihero by CJ Pinard.
I received this novella as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Antihero is told from the POV of Ellis and Talia. Ellis is an Ex-Marine who has a troubled past. He was pretty much forced to do at least 4 years in the Marine Core or go to prison by a judge when he was 17 years old, after committing a robbery with his gang. He chose to do 8 years and was medically discharged. Talia is barista in a coffee shop and a college student. She also has a troubled past, but she has overcame it. There is some miscommunications between the two of them, or more like lack of communication. They both want a relationship, instead they seem to have a booty call situation. In the beginning they were ok with that. Now they both want more, but each think the other doesn't.
I loved this story! I couldn't put it down. I was frustrated with them, happy with them, and sad with them. I felt everything I imagine they were feeling. My only complaint is that it's a novella. I'm not really a fan of novellas because they are to short for me and over to quickly. I usually try and stay away from them lol, but I had to read this story. I love C. J. Pinard and her Duty and Desire Series!! So I am super excited to see what other awesomeness she comes up with for the Imperfect Heroes Series! This novella and series definitely need to be added to your TBR and Must Read Lists!!!

I have read every book Bella has wrote from Sexy Firefighter, Billionaires Bad Boys, Sexy ass Doctor, and the Boy Next door and let not forget her New Shifter stories that I thought I would not like but fell in love with it in just the first few Chapter. But holy hell she just threw me through a loop with DOG 1. Hot! Steamy! and Kane is not holding back on anything…
This story is about Rugged Angels Bike Club in Tucson and Kane is the President. When the former President of Rugged Angels comes knocking at his door one night needing to speak to Kane he can’t turn him away. He knows something is not right and one look in his face says it all.
Kim is the daughter of the former president of Rugged Angels she hates her Dad with a passion she wants nothing to do with him. He calls her to tell her that she needs to get out of town or let him protect her and she turns him away. Not taking her father seriously she goes on with her everyday things. Until one day a big biker shows up at her door and changes are mind with then minutes.

I loved Taylor. He is a womanizer, but you know that under all that he is just a big softie.
I loved the interaction between Taylor and Lauren. You knew that they were made for each other from the start.
I am going to have to check out the rest of the series because this biker club seems to have some real personalities in it, and I think their stories are going to be interesting.

So far the only one of this anthology that I have read is The Biker's Secret Torment by Lisa Ladew. Normally, I am not a big fan of MC romances but I do like Lisa Ladew's writing so I thought I'd give this one a try. For me, MC heroes are just too rough and edgy, way beyond just being a bad boy. But in this case, I though Talon had just the right mix of edgy bad boy without being over the top. But then even he recognized he wanted more than just a life in the MC. Talon is the half brother of Knox from The Billionaire's Secret Kink but it can be read as a stand-alone novel.

Oh lord how me mercy, that's all I can say about these awesome authors, an their books they are fabulous. So much alpha male going on, sexy, hot guys . The ladies are gorgeous, an know what they want an who. They don't take no crap off these sexy as sin males. Each story is a work of a fantastic author.
Everyone of them has their own unique touch when it comes to writing. Drama, love, sexual emotions.
They just grab your hand an pull you right on in the books . You feel like you are right there riding on the back of those bikes with them sexy men. Take your pick there is plenty. I'm so in love with Michael, Talon, Kane, an Jace an a few more it's not funny. The title says it all.....Sexy Bastards, holy momma they are an then some.
Mercy what a hot book, Christine Bell, SwitchBlade is hot, sexy, romantic, fun read.
Kitty as the twin brothers, Michael an Rick call her. Rick is a Doctor an Michael owns a bike shop. They have both came home to settle their childhood home. It's been a yr since their beloved grandmother Honey passed away.
There next door neighbor Kitty has had a crush on Rick an wants to explore her options with him before he leaves the country. Only one problem mistaken twin.
Read this is an awesome book. Love it.

He takes the fall for his brother an goes to prison for ten years.

She brings you right in the pages, There's some ups an downs but this is an extremely amazing story.
What will happen if they meet again, secerts will be revealed. ..Oh my I can't wait to get book 2 ..Keep them coming Bella you are awesome

Things are happening an Talon has to go an get his best friends sister an his bosses daughter , after she gets attacked on campus. Her brother is missing an het father is the president of the MC Club an there are dangers ahead for them.
He puts his trust in Talon to bring his daughter home safe an sound.
Crystal finished class they left an then the drama started they are being followed an it doesn't look good. Someone is out for Crystal an they don't care who they take down with them. Things are about to get dangerous, but Talon is going to do everything he can to keep them safe.
Will they get to take the leap of love, what happened to her brother an what's the secerts of her dad??? Questions , questions, read for the answers. Amazing book

Hands raised in the air, Bella blows me away again. Her books are fabulous, interesting, eye opening an a rollercoaster ride sometimes.
Can you say Oh My God, she has the alpha male, hot, sexy, womanizer, he has had more than half the women that comes to their clubhouse, from the bars, oh so much more.
This story has drama, agony, pain, chaos, tragedy, shock, ups an downs.
Kane became president of his MC Club, he took over from 6 months ago. The former president Banner, is his good friend. Kane finds out that Banners wife was killed. Banner says it's a sign they are showing their colors, so to speak. They are coming after Banner. Now Banner knows they are going to target his daughter Kim next.
Banner wants his friend Kane to go get her an keep her safe.
Kim doesn't care for her dad's MC Club or any of his men. Her mom did her best to shelter her from that. Her mom an dad were divorced, she knew what kind of man he was.
Kim heard from her dad an thought about leaving town, but didn't.
A loud group of motorcycles pulled up behind her car she didn't know if they were friend or foe. If she was going to live or die. Until she saw the badges an knew they were from her dad's club.
She saw Kane an he was sexy as all get out, she didn't care she wasn't going down the road her mom did. They looked at each other an neither was shy. Dang did she want him or didn't she.
He takes her to safe house or he thinks it's safe, someone is giving away their places an don't know who from the inside it could be.
Oh my heavens can you say HOT!! Oh yeah that's what it was fireworks for the moment they met.
Now they are being shot at the next morning something is wrong, someone gave them away. They are on the run just her an Kane they try to get away but things get in the way.
Danger is ahead for them, Lordy mercy will they make it out or will Kane fail her an her dad??
Remember this is book one book two is coming I'm waiting patiently for it.
Will they make it back alive or will forces stronger than Kane gonna keep them apart?

NB. I have only read C.J. Pinard's ANTIHERO (Imperfect Heroes prequel, novella). My review is based on this novella alone.
As a fan of C.J. Pinard‘s work I have enjoyed every book, and feel that this author comes back stronger and stronger with each new story. If you enjoyed the previous military romance series, Duty & Desire, you will absolutely LOVE Antihero.
Ellis Anderson is given an ultimatum in his young life after being caught doing wrong with a bad crowd. His choice could define exactly what sort of a man he will become. Going into this book...I had no clue what to expect. I really didn't know what it was fully about. I did not read the synopsis. I was asked to read this book by the author.
So... Once I started to read this book. I was pleasantly surprised! I did not want to put it down!
I loved this little story!
I thought it was a great start to this series!
Both main characters had a pretty bad past that they both had to overcome. And they did. But it was a struggle to not fall back into old habits.
Talia had to fight the urge everyday not succumb to the cravings when things got bad and Ellis had to not let the past define who he really was. He needed to let the past go.
I felt Ellis was lost throughout the book. He got in trouble when he was a teenager and it really did a number on him. He never really worked out his past. He just buried it... hoping that he would be able to get past it all. It was very hard for him to open up to people. So letting Talia in was hard. He didn't know how to communicate with her.
Talia also had communication problems. She was more open relationship wise. But she really had to work to let Ellis in. She got hurt a lot because she never felt she could talk to Ellis about things.
The miscommunication between both of them kind of drove me crazy. I just wanted one of them to bite the bullet and start to talk about personal things with each other.
They were always guessing what the other would say or think. But never going all the way with just asking how the other person felt.
One thing that didn't miss a beat with them was how they both had extreme chemistry with each other!
I mean... It was explosive and It was so hot.
They both had things to work through but... I loved how Ellis was the one to fight and save what he had with Talia. He didn't want to let her go.
He stepped up and showed her he was all in!
I loved it!
I can't wait to read the next book in this series! Duke... We get a little of his story. But I can't wait to read more about him.

So far I have only read Just Love Me written by C.C. Cartwright and as soon as I starting reading it I fell in love with it. It's been a while since C.C.Cartwright has released anything and I am glad for the wait as every time I read something written by her it's honestly amazing.
Just Love Me is written from the perspective's of Justin and Sloane. Justin has never really been the type of guy that sticks to one girl for a long period of time but for some reason as soon as his eyes meet Sloane's part of what he's like with girls goes completely out of his head.
For as long as Sloane can remember she has had a huge crush on Justin, it doesn't help that Justin is her best friends Kylie's brother. Even after all these years her heart still is fluttering for Justin and she hopes that in future time that she will have lost her virginity to him, but as soon as Justin finds out that she hasn't given herself to anyone he chooses to let her find the guy that is willing to treat her right.
Justin honestly can't make up his mind in what he want's to do about Sloane and even though his Kylie tells him that Sloane is out of bounds for him, he starts to become really possessive of who she goes out with. Sloane is starting to get fed up of Justin interfering with her love life and orders him to back out but she knows that even by telling him that it will just wire him up to continue more.
After spending five days together with his family Sloane is starting to get really confused with all the mixed messages that Justin is giving her. He keeps warning her away as even if he did get involved with her it would only be for a short time until he got bored. Even though Sloane knows that she's destined for heartache even by pursuing him she can't seem to get enough of him.
Will Justin be able to make his mind up about wanting to be with her or will he just hurt her. How will Sloane cope with the fact she may never get the boy she has dreamt of for years. This book is honestly mouth watering, you will want to know more as you will be drawn in. I also recommend you read the rest of this boxset so that you can find some new love for authors.

I was given a review copy of the book ahead of time before it was published for an honest review. I'm all about forbidden love and was intrigued. The story sucked me in and I couldn't stop reading. Lena and Lucky were definitely a starcrossed pair of lovers. They've always been attracted to each other but stayed away because they knew what a nut her dad was. He was the president of a dangerous motorcycle club. And he hated Lucky and his biker club. They were forbidden to date. Lena knew her dad would have Lucky murdered if she ever started dating him. Caring for his life, she stayed away.
But after they graduate, they can't stop the passion brewing between them. Even still, Lena pushes him away after a heated kiss while they skinny dip. Lucky knows he should stay away. He knows she's trouble. He knows she's forbidden fruit.
Risking it all, they secretly start an affair. Lena is messed up, and so is Lucky. They both have emotional scars and raised by horrible fathers. They connect on a deep emotional level. Sneaking around, they get together whenever they can without causing suspicion.

I have only read Taming the Biker at present
I was given this Arc in exchange for my honest opinion.
Taylor didn’t get the nickname Tail for a good reason. After being hurt in the worst way, he decided that women were disposable so he went through many frequently. He was very comfortable in his lifestyle until he ran into an old friend who made him want to change his ways.
Lauren’s life was a mess, and she needed a distraction. Lucky for her she had to attend her sister’s wedding where she runs into Taylor. It’s been years since she’s seen him and he still looks sexy as hell. Can one night of passion with Taylor save Lauren from herself and the demons that followed her home.
This is another wonderful chapter to the biker series. I enjoyed the banter between Taylor Lauren. She constantly tried to push him off, but Taylor had other ideas. Their story wasn’t all hearts and flowers. Bad things happened which required the help of a few characters from previous books. It was nice to briefly catch up with some of the Vipers. I especially liked the part where the Judge was mentioned. I won’t say what happened, but it made me laugh out loud. Great read!

This review is for "The Biker's Secret Torment," by Lisa Ladew. I'm a huge fan of the MC romance genre and I love the way Lisa spins this tale. Many MC books come off as super harsh, in that the bikers tend to come off as utter a**holes who treat women like crap until this magical female comes along and then somehow, there's a miraculous change in their demeanor but this book doesn't come off that way at all. Talon is sweet and loving to Crystal but still keeps that bad boy edge to the world, which I love. And Crystal? She's spunky and smart and is a great match for her "rough around the edges" biker. The story is edgy and fast paced with some great dialogue and some awesome action scenes. Oh yeah, and the love scenes? Love scenes so hot, you'll melt your eReader, whooo! Also, for fans of the Kink series, you'll recognize Talon as introduced from there and, in this one, we get to say a quick "hey!" to Knox, too. :) All in all, it's a great read! If you love romance, MC books and are looking for a new one you won't be able to put down once you start reading, you just can't go wrong with Lisa Ladew! Get this bundle, it's worth it just for this one!

This review is specifically for the Lisa Ladew book The Biker's Secret Torment. This book was an amazing read. Not your typical all bad ass biker turned good guy. This is a guy you know is fundamentally a good guy who denies himself for years and goes through hell for his country. It will pull you in from the beginning and have you crying at the end because it is over. More, I say, I need MORE! If you haven't read anything by Lisa Ladew or you have read only this book you will fall in love with her writing and be hooked like I am! I pre-order every book she releases, am a member of her email list and in general stalk her to the edge of the earth for more books! You will not be disappointed!

When it comes to novellas I'm always a little worried that we won't learn enough about the characters background but that was not a problem with this book. CJ Pinard provided the perfect amount of information about Ellis and Talia to know their motivations and understand their actions.
Ellis and Talia had problems with communication but knowing what they both experienced in their lives made understandable rather than frustrating. Of course, I wanted to yell at them through the pages but that just means I was emotionally invested in them.
CJ Pinard continues to impress me with her writing and I look forward to the continuation of this series.

is the only book I have read so far in the box set.
I have to say it pulled me right in like all her other books. She is a wonderful writer and her characters are amazing. You just wrap yourself all up in the story and it's hard to put down.
The suspense and not knowing what is coming next just pulls you in deeper and the love and passion of the couples keeps it interesting and your heart right there with the characters.
I can't wait to follow these character and couples in more of her books.

I read "The Biker's Secret Torment" by Lisa Ladew and absolutely loved it! Talon and Crystal were such fun characters to read, and their story took off with a bang and kept me hooked the entire time! They have known each other since they were kids and shared a special kind of bond ever since, and now that turns into a super explosive chemistry mixed with a suspenseful plot that will keep you guessing!
I've read all of Lisa Ladew's books and love that each one is so unique. Her writing style quickly draws you into the story and doesn't let go until you finish!

I read Dog by Bella Love Wins and I have to say if the rest of the stories in this book are as good as this one, you will want to read the entire book! Kane is president of his MC club. When he is asked to protect the ex-presidents daughter, the sparks between these two would make a huge fire! Look forward to more about this MC and their bad boy president.

I've only read Taming A Biker by Cassie Alexandra. Really enjoyed Taylor and Lauren's story! This is my first read of Cassie's. I have to say I'll be reading a lot more of her work. I hope to see more of Taylor and Lauren's story. Will leave reviews of other stories as soon as I get the Anthology.

I've read and rated all except two books in this Anthology. I have put my reasons why but once I read them I will come back and post my reviews for those two books. With that being said, I've also included which books are full stories and which are cliffhangers, (most are cliffhangers...unfortunately). By the time I reached the end of this Anthology, I was so fed up with all the fucking cliffhangers, I just despise them so much! I will admit some were interesting but most were so bad, sighs....either way I tried my best to give the most honest reviews I could...here goes:

This wasn't that bad. Mike and Kitty are both damaged to some extent by their pasts, not by failed relationships with significant others but with failed relationships with parental figures. Unfortunately, neither knows how damaged and distrustful the other is until it's almost to late. Not a bad read, except Kitty is a little annoying when she assumes the worst about Mike, a person she supposedly cares about, but eventually everything does come full circle thanks to a nosy friend, as usual. I wished there was more involvement with Rick, just as far knowing how he felt about Kitty since she was so hung up on him before realizing her feelings for Mike.

Normally I don't do serials, because well, they're serials, so you know they are going to always end on a damn cliffhanger which are one of my biggest pet peeves! This mini serial was just too good to pass up because really, who could pass up a different and updated version of Romeo and Juliet...MC style?
The storyline itself was so interesting and intriguing, with the history between the Stone Wolves and Black Heart, it's sad that two kids are stuck in the middle because let's face it, just because this reads as an MC story, we aren't dealing with adult people who have lived the lifestyle, we are dealing with two TEENAGERS who want to live the life. That's a huge fucking difference and that's what we need to take into consideration when thinking about these two young characters because Lucky is a whipped, sorry excuse for a manboy! I wanted to slap some testosterone into this boy so many times and please don't get me started on Selena and her sick and twisted sense of humor, not to mention her misplaced Devotion to her father because really....WTF! Sighs...again, I have to keep reminding myself that they are just kids, trying their best to act like adults with the shit hand life has dealt them....

As mentioned before, I really dislike cliffhangers because they always leave the reader, well hanging and that's just fucked up! With this book the author does warn the reader ahead of time that it does end in a cliffhanger and we'll need to read Parts 2 and 3 in order to get to the conclusion of this story so kudos to the author for the heads up. So with that being said...
I've read a few of Ms. Mayer's books, this has been one of the most interesting ones. Domestic violence is never tolerable, NEVER! I always have a soft spot for the female leads in the books I read who go through this because they are so beat, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well, until getting used as a punching bag because the norm for them. They expect nothing less because that's what they're used to and how fucking sad is that! Willow was almost to that point, yeah she was compliant, subservient and scared shitless of Greg but she wasn't completely ready to give up yet, even if she was on that bridge. Cash saw that tiny spark of life in her, to bad it ends in a cliffhanger so I have no clue what happens after this first part ends... (The next two parts are on my TBR list..)

This was just a sweet and sexy romance. Bad boy Ellis turned good boy sexy Marine but with that hint of bad boy still left from his teen days, so yeah basically still a bad boy in a sexy Marine body. Talia, sweet but a bit insecure. Both keep secrets and both have a failure of communication so the relationship seems lacking especially since all they do is assume shit about one another...lol. The only things they are upfront about is the sex between them and their fidelity to one another.

Not only is this a damn cliffhanger, but I have no fucking clue why the book is even titled Dog? Kane, the President of the Rugged Angels MC is rather laid back and still takes orders from the former president of the club. The fact that an ex old lady has been killed, his clubhouse and other establishments have been attacked by the same rival gang and all he's done is run with four of his top officers leaves a whole lot to be desired, even if it is to protect the daughter of the former president. Something that doesn't require all that manpower I might add. As far as being president and a leader of a supposedly deadly MC...he kinda sorta...just sucks at it! He should be at his clubhouse, planning and trying to execute some kind of attack on this rival gang while simultaneously guarding the daughter, not going on the run with her and his top officers, which I might add he's no good at either...
Needless to say this is a serial I will not be continuing with because it wasn't captivating enough, plus Kim was all kinds of hypocritical! She hates bikers, preaches all this shit about them and how her father ruined her and her mother's lives but she fucked Kane like an hour after meeting him...give me a fucking break!

Nothing much happened except Jace getting locked up, doing his time, getting out, having mystery sex with a not so mysterious female, seeing his therapist and setting up the readers for part two...

Katie should have known that her lies would eventually come back to bite her in the ass, while I understand her need to initially lie as its something that has been ingrained into her all her life and she didn't know Morgan from a can of paint, of course that didn't stop her from fucking him the very same day she met him which is all fine and dandy...good for her...keep pimping sweetie. My thing is, after being with him several times and growing a backbone, obviously thanks to Morgan's influence, why still hide it? Anyway, her character left much to be desired at first, complying to her father's every demand but then she found her voice and what a voice it was. After that she was alright in my book, plus she totally had Morgan's back during the bar fight, even if she was scared shitless, so kudos to her for that.
The one thing that felt rushed and off in this book, funny enough, was the sex. It just wasn't hot nor contained that steamy alpha biker loving we've come to know and expect from an MC book, that was just strange. It was passable, but who the fuck wants passable sex in a MC book?

This was actually pretty good. It was interesting, definitely a page turner, very mysterious and engaging. It's hard to tell whose behind the Betrayal and setups at first, but once you keep reading and piecing together the clues the picture begins to get clear, you just need the answer to the question Why and it'll all come together.
I didn't care to much for Crystal's character as she was pushy but not in a strong independent type of way but more of a needy/pathetic type of way. One minute she's a weeping wallflower and the next she's running down the highway getting in the middle of club shit, which funny enough ends up getting a member shot because her stupid ass decided she had to be there. It's like she tried to be assertive but just failed miserably at it and missed the mark. Talon, well hell he was just to fucking busy feeling sorry for himself which just isn't attractive in a man at all...enough said. The only thing going for this couple was the intense sexual chemistry and what turned out to be a very sweet proposal for a biker.

It didn't just jump into the H and the h meeting each other and fucking their brains out. It actually gave us some background and it took a few months before the female lead even physically met the male lead, but everything just went downhill from there. The worst thing that could happen to a woman is ignoring the advice of other women, because if 9 out of 10 women are telling me to stay away from a dude that is going to do nothing but screw me over, then chances are that said dude will end up screwing me over...no pun intended! Did Crystal listen...of course not! She took the advice of the one woman who never even met Eric and guess what...got screwed over! Dumb ass!!

Now even though this ended on a dreaded cliffhanger, it was intriguing enough to warrant getting the second part, which BTW you can receive for FREE if you just sign up for the authors reading list!

This wasn't that bad. Mike and Kitty are both damaged to some extent by their pasts, not by failed relationships with significant others but with failed relationships with parental figures. Unfortunately, neither knows how damaged and distrustful the other is until it's almost to late. Not a bad read, except Kitty is a little annoying when she assumes the worst about Mike, a person she supposedly cares about, but eventually everything does come full circle thanks to a nosy friend, as usual. I wished there was more involvement with Rick, just as far knowing how he felt about Kitty since she was so hung up on him before realizing her feelings for Mike.

Normally I don't do serials, because well, they're serials, so you know they are going to always end on a damn cliffhanger which are one of my biggest pet peeves! This mini serial was just too good to pass up because really, who could pass up a different and updated version of Romeo and Juliet...MC style?
The storyline itself was so interesting and intriguing, with the history between the Stone Wolves and Black Heart, it's sad that two kids are stuck in the middle because let's face it, just because this reads as an MC story, we aren't dealing with adult people who have lived the lifestyle, we are dealing with two TEENAGERS who want to live the life. That's a huge fucking difference and that's what we need to take into consideration when thinking about these two young characters because Lucky is a whipped, sorry excuse for a manboy! I wanted to slap some testosterone into this boy so many times and please don't get me started on Selena and her sick and twisted sense of humor, not to mention her misplaced Devotion to her father because really....WTF! Sighs...again, I have to keep reminding myself that they are just kids, trying their best to act like adults with the shit hand life has dealt them....

As mentioned before, I really dislike cliffhangers because they always leave the reader, well hanging and that's just fucked up! With this book the author does warn the reader ahead of time that it does end in a cliffhanger and we'll need to read Parts 2 and 3 in order to get to the conclusion of this story so kudos to the author for the heads up. So with that being said...
I've read a few of Ms. Mayer's books, this has been one of the most interesting ones. Domestic violence is never tolerable, NEVER! I always have a soft spot for the female leads in the books I read who go through this because they are so beat, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well, until getting used as a punching bag because the norm for them. They expect nothing less because that's what they're used to and how fucking sad is that! Willow was almost to that point, yeah she was compliant, subservient and scared shitless of Greg but she wasn't completely ready to give up yet, even if she was on that bridge. Cash saw that tiny spark of life in her, to bad it ends in a cliffhanger so I have no clue what happens after this first part ends... (The next two parts are on my TBR list..)

If you like any of these authors you will like the rest of the MC biker stories. I purchased it to read the story by C. J. Pinard and I read her story first then went to read the others. There was only one that I didn't like and it was from an author I've not read previously.

Kylie Walker - INDECENT DESIRES – This is such a dark story with mysterious ways, psycho women and suspicious things happening. I have to say the passion is spoke on for the me as well as the fast pace action and suspense.
Crystal is in a group of an up and coming law students who has an internship with the DA’s office and with her, her job with the DA;s office , it’s most likely based on the friendship her late mother had with the executive assistant DA. Crystal is a real go getter and on her first day there, she runs into a glitch, the executive DA’s secretary is a real witch On her first day there she is put having an internship with her mom’s friend John Cramer the exec. Assistant DA.
Now there is some big wig other DA named Eric Steel and we read a bit about him and how hot and sexy he Is and how he doesn’t want women working for him, only men. Well, Crystal thinks she is ok until John has to take a 2 month personal leave of absence after the big case wraps up. So Crystal is assigned to him and OMG the chemistry between them is HAWT. But there is something really wrong with Mr Steel. He loves to bind his ladies up in the sack and he likes to play his BDSM games…he’s not mean but it’s a one night kind of guy but when it comes to Crystal, he is thunderstruck. He sees her and he wants her bad.
Their back and forth begins but danger looms in the background. Eric wants to take a chance on more but just as Crystal is ready, Eric lashes out and what was once red-hot , ended burned up and ashes on the floor. Now Crystal only has days left on her internship but she isn’t going to run from Eric and is prepared to stand and fight. Will Eric be willing to fight for them, is the threat going to come out ? This story is getting fantastic and was left hanging on a fantastic cliffhanger. Will she or wont she…
Eric is one tortured hero and you can tell he has a lot going on ; at the same time I really wanted to smack him a few times for being such a jerk. Hopefully Crystal gets that chance—when it comes to Crystal, she is a sweetie. She is feisty, independent and is still recovering from the loss of her mother several years ago. I don’t know why but something about her mom’s death may end up being apart of the story down the road..could be wrong but I get a feeling it may be. Anyway, awesome flow of the story and the supporting characters are terrific. I really hope Debbie, Crystal’s friend and roomie, gets a book down the road. Overall, one of the best books in this box set.

With a title like this what red blooded female could resist? Not me that's for sure. This is a fun bunch of stories about the bad boys we love to hate and want. Irresistible. The series starts out with a really bad boy in Switchblade by Christine Bell. Not a knife guy, just the bad boy side of twins Mike and Rick Blade. Kaitlyn's mom's house is next door. They are all in a do-something-for-the-mom/grandmom mode.
Growing up as neighbors, she always had a crush on good boy Rick, but never took a chance. Well, now is the time. But the chance back fires and her "pass" and believe me it is a hot one, back fires. Not only is she suddenly the aggressor, Mike is the recipient and making no objection. Since we know all bad boys are good at heart, can he let her continue thinking he's Rick? Not that he wants her to think of his brother.
This incident changes things--big time. Player, meet all grown up buddy. Now what? I loved watching them decide how to deal. I'll just sneak in that Rick is no longer on her mind.
Prepare for some steam and a little help from a buddy named Cheri. Did I mention there is steam, bad boy may not be prepared for just how hot his freckle faced neighbor has become. But he isn't complaining and neither will you. This anthology is filled with hot stuff and bad boys from your favorite authors and maybe a few news ones to get to know. Don't miss out on this. A strong recommend with five star rating.

This anthology allowed me to read many authors for the first time but for me the standout was Antihero by CJ Pinard.
This book was about Ellis, a troubled teenager who was forced to choose between going to serve his Country as a Marine or spending many years locked up in jail and Talia who had a troubled life who had a drug addicted mother which also became her life (even though she swore she wouldn't do the same).
Their paths connected and No matter how hard They tried they could not walk away from each other. They were like magnets " He was the negative charge and I was the positive". They were both unwilling to share their feelings and as a result both of them believed they were just booty calls and nothing more when secretly they both wanted the same thing - a relationship.

Who doesn't want to sink their teeth into something like this collection? All the fantasies of a guy rolled into one that can make you drool. Actually they will do more than that at times too. One in particular Antihero will show you how one judge takes this bad boy puts him in the military. When he comes out he is one that really had no clue about romance but doesn't mean he does not love. Ellis And Talia are one couple that will mesmerize you with their relationship because it is down to earth bur filled with raw passion. Neither have had the best of growing up but now they seem to have found someone that has been waiting for each other. You will get frustrated with them both but she too has no clue either. The author will draw alot of emotions from the reader but these are realistic characters you can embrace. They are both to each other what they need. The best thing is they are not afraid of love but in it as the author states "for life"
