Omnipresent: The Sacred Feminine Balance

The vision of this collection aims to explore all aspects of the authentic integrity of the Divine Feminine, and the “swinging to the opposite extreme” mentalities and actions that have emerged as the Divine Feminine grows in acknowledgement and reclaims Her equal place on Earth, as it should have been all along.
Many have gone to the extreme of taking back the Divine Feminine power by becoming practically anti-masculine and basically feminine versions of the exact male-centered control and domination that is attempting to be balanced in these times. This is completely normal, as many things in our lives swing to the opposites in order to break free of a system or habit, and then eventually swing back to the center middle ground where balance and equality exist.
Written entirely by female authors for women and men both, this book hopes to assist in finding that center balance, fanning the flame of equality and understanding, in the light of love and compassion.

Esse é o tipo de livro que eu gosto de manter no meu celular. Diversos textos curtos e bens escritos, perfeito para ler antes de dormir. Mas, li ele inteiro fora desse objetivo por motivos que prefiro não mencionar aqui... o que foi uma pena no sentido que ele realmente é perfeito para isso.
O livro consiste em pequenos textos escritos por mulheres acerca do que cada uma pensa sobre o sagrado feminino. Alguns eu gostei pessoalmente porque me identifiquei com diversos dos pensamentos expostos, outros me deram um certo nervoso, mas isso meio que já é normal para mim. Tenho uma visão muito particular e um tanto chata do que seria o sagrado feminino, visto a nossa necessidade como sociedade de um feminismo forte e militante, que esse feminismo não tem como não moldar a minha forma de pensar.
Dito isso, a maior parte dos textos é muito interessante, e eu leria outras obras de algumas autoras que estão nesse volume, como a Joss Burnel , Jacqueline L. Robinson, Britanny N. Selle, Beth Shekinah (que é de origem judia!) e a Melissa Rae Thompson.
Mas não sei dizer exatamente qual é o objetivo desse livro ou qual seria o seu público alvo principal. Os textos não são exatamente profundos e nem explanatórios sobre nada em particular. Eles são exatamente o que o subtítulo do livro indica: "contemplações sobre o divino na terra". Alguns textos tem um teor mais biográfico, outros um jeitão mais poético, outros são reminiscências. O que mantém a coesão do livro é fato de que todos os textos apresentam um ponto de vista mais pagão do que seria o sagrado feminino e todos as autoras são mulheres.
É uma leitura interessante, mas eu não diria imprescindível, sobre o assunto.
