The witchblade finds a new wielder.
Good color artwork,image freebie. Dark horse used to do this series, guess it on image for a while. The witchblade rhymes with switchblade, is always seeking a worthy woman to carry it. Pezzini is the latest.

The beginning
This comic is the beginning of Witchblade, the art is very well done, the story a little shaky.
The story takes place in modern day New York, with two detectives, Pez and her partner.

Nostalgia trip
I first heard about Witchblade after a friend introduced me to the 2001 TV show. So getting to read the comic where it all began is a bit of a nostalgia trip.
Witchblade is definitely a product of the 90’s, and won’t be for everyone. But that’s perfectly okay.
