Wild Irish Heart
It is time…

An ancient book, a power untouched, and a heart unloved lead Keelin O'Brien from her graduate studies in Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland. Determined to unearth the secrets lying hidden in the enchanted waters of the cove, Keelin has little time for a surly Irishman who infuriates her during the day and haunts her fantasies at night.

Inexplicably drawn to the woman who has stepped from his dreams and into his world, Flynn fights a stubborn battle against his increasing attraction for Keelin. Forces unknown have better plans for the two.

Only the secrets of the cove can show Keelin who she really is, the beauty of her mysterious power, and a love that will break the bounds of what she knows.

Wild Irish Eyes
Oh, to stop the voices in her head.

Other people's voices, that is. As a pub owner with an extra special gift, all Cait Gallagher craves is a moment of silence. That, and to own the building her pub is housed in along with the heart of the building's landlord, Shane MacAuliffe. Though she is irresistibly drawn to Shane, her vulnerabilities cause her to put up a tough exterior. When the two butt heads, more than sparks fly, and Cait finds herself trembling on the precipice of love.

Shane has watched Cait for years. Stubborn, beautiful, and with a trim body that he is dying to get his hands on, Cait is it for him. And yet, she continues to infuriate him by walking away from his kiss. Every time. At his wits' end, Shane doesn't know what to do to make Cait his own.

Unapologetic and fiercely proud, Cait must conquer her insecurities and reveal her true self to Shane or face losing everything.

Wild Irish Soul

Love was never her strong suit.

Aislinn is used to living life on her terms. As an artist with an extra-sensory gift, she allows her moods, and those of the natural world, to inspire her paintings for her gallery set in small town Grace's Cove. Running her business as she pleases, Aislinn has danced around serious commitments her whole life.

When Dr. Baird Delaney moves his psychiatry practice to town and stops by her shop to pick up some prints for his office, Aislinn's world tilts. Irresistibly drawn to his presence, yet convinced that the uptight doctor is a poor match for her free-flowing artistic soul, Aislinn is torn. Both Aislinn and Baird will have to suspend their beliefs as they tumble headfirst into a messy, unrepentant love that challenges both to accept each other unequivocally.

Wild Irish Rebel

A loner at heart...

Morgan McKenzie has been on her own since she ran away from a nightmarish foster home at the age of sixteen. Afraid to put down roots again only to be hurt once more, Morgan prefers to be constantly on the move. Until she is inexplicably pulled to the small Irish town of Grace's Cove. Before she knows it, Morgan is settling in and forming relationships for the first time in her life. Determined to keep her walls up to protect both her heart and the touch of magick she carries, Morgan fights against her growing attraction for the town's golden boy, Patrick Kearney.

Patrick can't keep his eyes off of Morgan.

Wild Irish Heart - 5 Stars

I was complaining the other day to a couple of friends about how everything I’d read lately was just ok, in desperation I turned to my Kindle TBR list and opened my free copy of Wild Irish Heart, bless you Tricia O’Malley, finally something beautifully written and so capitvating I went out and purchased the boxed set as soon as I was done.

A beautiful love story with a wee bit of magic and faith thrown in. I loved the interwoven connections between the generations of women and their ancestors. There was a moment or two, or three when I wanted to grab Flynn by the collar and shake some sense into him, but he came around in the end.

Wild Irish Eyes - 5 Stars

I loved Cait and Shanes story. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to travel through life hearing the thoughts of those around you, where would you go for silence? Although each book stands alone there is a beautiful weaving of the lives of the decendents of Grace and it was great to spend time with the other ladies.

Again Shane is a little too proud at times and needs to be put in his place, but underneath is a heart of Gold and Cait is just the one to set him straight.

Wild Irish Soul - 5 Stars

My favorite of all the books by far. I loved the progression through this series and each story gets a wee bit more “Irish” as we go along. I fell in love with Aislinn and the beautiful way Ms. O’Malley had of using her words to paint a picture in your mind, I cried and cried again.

MINI SPOILER ALERT

Aislinn says to Baird at one point that she can “look” at a scene and later recreate it through memory but it doesn’t have the same impact as when she sits in nature in paints what she sees. That she paints what she “feels” not just the view. These scenes were so eloquently written that I could also feel that emotion in the scenes she wove with her words.

Again we have a strong female lead character and a hero who’s a little stubborn and needs as swift kick in the seat of his pants, definetly a familiar pattern in each story, however the male characters are still likeable, if a little frustrating at times.

Wild Irish Rebel - 5 Stars

Morgan has had a very difficult life, it’s beautiful to watch her pulled out of her shell by her “family” of Grace sisters. Patrick is pretty open to the gifts that the women have after having worked for Cait and growing up in the Cove. Still he is put to the test and even he has some growing up and learning to do.

Again I cried and cried again, I was pulled into the story and could feel the pain and isolation that Morgan had grown up with and how difficult it was for her to accept the help and friendship of others. My heart ached for her as she re-lived the terrible things that had happened to her as a child. In the end she was forced to make a life changing decision to save someone she loved, the consequences could take away all that she had finally found, a home, love and friends.

By the end of the book I couldn’t wait for more and went out and bought the rest of the series.

Fantastic!

Each book took you further into the mystery of Grace's Cove, and each of the wonderful women gave you a piece of the puzzle! I loved each character and the mysterious and fantastic "extra gifts" that they all had yet were a mystery even to themselves. Then how "Grace O'Malley, her cove and love" gave them an understanding of their "gift" and the different hardships they each had to endure and overcome!
An excellent read!!! I am eagerly looking forward to continuing with the series! 💕😻

The Mystic Cove series is by Tricia O’Malley. This delightful series takes place in Ireland where magic is possible. It is a great series about the descendants of Grace O’Malley, pirate and mystic being. It brings the tales of Ireland to life. It follows the descendants of Grace O’Malley as they struggle and fight their way through their lives as well as coping with the supernatural gifts Grace gave to them. It is a great series and is so much fun to read.

The perfect mix of steamy romance, sappy love, humor, magic, and the gorgeous country that is Ireland (or so I assume, I'm obsessed with the country even though I have yet had the pleasure of visiting). The stories were predictable but the characters were so likeable and the setting so beautifully described you really didn't mind. Can't wait to continue with the rest of the series!

My adoration for Tricia O'Malley is right up there with Laurell K. Hamilton, Kresley Cole, Karen Marie Moning, and Joely Sue Burkhart! Tricia writes passionately and weaves a story that yanks at your heart strings and plays with your emotions. It is an emotional journey to read her works and I'm all here for it!

Amazing how many stories can be told by one person. Magic interwoven into all those characters and spread like wildfire with so much emotion. I enjoyed all the stories and look forward to new adventures. Thank you for sharing your wild Irish love.

What a Joyful Excursion!

As someone who works extremely hard, it’s wonderful to take snippets of time throughout the day to read a book that carries you off to a far away place and allows your mind to rest. The Mystic Cove Series does just that. At first, I found myself being distracted by some small errors: in one of the books, she mentions a six month old Irish setter puppy in a basket as a gift. I quickly realized she probably meant six week old puppy, because a six month old Irish setter would not fit into a basket unless it was a very huge basket! There were other small errors like this, but not many. I had read the first three books and had almost decided not to read the fourth, but I’m so glad that I did!Of the first four books of the series, the fourth one was by far my favorite! I felt very drawn into the story. And it warmed my heart. They were even a few times it cost me to gasp in surprise. I love the series and fully intend to read the last three books of the series. Great job!

As this is a bundle of 4, I read them one after the other and it is then pretty clear that the stories are fairly formulaic - Girl is descended for Irish Pirate Queen, has mystical abilities, is attracted to a man, worries about telling him about her mystical abilities, uses said abilities, man is annoyed because she didn't explain it all earlier, they make love in mystical cove and the water glows bright blue proving they are each other's true love.

Granted one girl tells the man early on but he totally refuses to believe her even if given a demo, and one doesn't have sex on the sands, but even so...

They are a light read and I actually really liked the different characters of the different women hence 3 stars rather than only 2.

But is clear that these are written for an American market as the Irish characters keep using American English not Irish English... some that stick in mind are pocket-book for handbag, cilantro for coriander, sedan for a saloon car - and there are a lot of others.

In Book One: Wild Irish Heart, the reader is introduced to Keelin O’Brien, who travels from Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland called Grace’s Cove. Keelin meets her grandmother Fiona and learns that she, too, is part of the family’s inherited magical tradition. The cove is filled with secrets, and Keelin is determined to understand the magick found in the enchanted waters of the cove. This book sets up most of the characters for the subsequent novels.

With each new book, we’re introduced to characters found in the previous book who also possess some interesting power given by the magick of the cove. As the story progresses, we learn more of Grace, the pirate queen who bewitched the cove long ago. It is through her lineage; the women are all connected.

This was a good series. There is some sex in the books so be aware of that.

Did not finish.

Please take my rating and review with a grain of salt. I know what I like/don't like and am able to tell quickly whether a novel is going to sweep me off my feet, or whether it's going to gather digital dust before I return it.

While the concept was intriguing, I was only a couple of pages into the second chapter of the first book and knew that I wasn't going to appreciate this series. There were a couple of errors and a couple of incorrect word choices, but what stopped me dead in my tracks was the over-the-top "conversation" that the main heroine ("Keelin") was having with her mother. The dialog was unnatural and the narrative description was a little too melodramatic for my taste.

This was a cool idea that was poorly executed. None of the stories developed their love interests well... in fact, in the first book they end up hooking up without even liking the other person! They were rude and angry with one another, but oh, because you're hot I'll make out with you on the beach. No thanks? I need a bit more of a connection before I'm reading about "true love". Also, every single books hook-up started in the same way (won't get into details, but the type of hooking up...). There were also a lot of loose ends at the end. I'd love to know more about Keelin's mom, and I'd love a book about Fiona. But honestly... not if they were written the way these were.

Beautifully Strong and Brilliant Women and Dreamy Ireland...

I would've given 100 stars! Tricia's books hold the enchanted world of Ireland and her family of gorgeous, strong -willed women as my "self-care escape" from a long day of emotionally intense, yet very rewarding work as a therapist. I look forward to reading all of Tricia's work. It's just so easy to get lost in the beauty of her description of Grace's Cove and to follow the characters, cheering them on and weeping with the sad times. It is true...I'm a hopeless, sappy romantic who experiences all the emotions of the characters...That, my friends, is due to the work of a truly talented author!!

Enchanting

I am a huge fan of Nora Roberts and now I am a huge fan and avid reader of Tricia O'Malley. This set of books entranced me, enchanted me and made me want to be there with the wonderful people that I feel like I know personally. I am so grateful that Tricia has written more stories of Grace's Cove and the wonderful and amazing people that live there. I know that I will love the next boxed set about what may be my favorite place in earth, Grace's Cove. I can hardly wait to go back!!

Wild Irish Mystic Cove series

I chose this book set on a chance. I was hoping for a good Irish story and Tricia did not disappoint!
Love, magic, a seaside Irish town and great characters. What more could you want. I highly recommend this series. You'll love Fiona, the center of the series. She's a healer in modern day Ireland. Fiona could fit in any century, in fact her blood line goes way back .

I cannot put this series down! I love the stories and descriptions of Ireland. Tricia O'Malley has created some very strong women with unique talents, quirks, fears, and strengths. The town of Grace's Cove sounds like a place I want to visit, which I will keep on doing until Tricia O'Malley stops writing. Each woman's story is compelling and suspenseful. In later books, O'Malley brings some of the earlier women back into the stories of the newer ones. This town is one magical place!

An eye opening series

I really likes these books. I have had the gift of healing and knowing since the age of 5. These books brought me back to some of the times that I shut it down. Coming from a family where both of my grandmother's had the gift too these stories made me smile. My life growing up and the reactions the characters had toward the healers were axactly what we have experienced. Thank you so much for taking me home again

Mystic Cove series

Itm Irish and gravitate to books taking place in Ireland. The first couple of books I really enjoyed. I'm not a prude but do have a great imagination. Sex is not a new concept, been the same since mankind. Kindly let me imagine the characters sexual escapades. Seems to be better than the authors.

I really loved this series of stories about Grace's Cove. The stories about the Irish Magic Cove and the water changing color for True love - was so exciting. Each woman in the bloodline of Grace had a story to tell. You can't quit reading but you don't want the story to end.

Awesome series

It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, I am amazed at the characters, the stories and the detailed description of the Irish village. It makes me want to go there to see and experience the beauty myself. It is hard to put any of the books down. Absolutely dive into this series. It is best if you start at the beginning but they stand on their own too.
