Despite factual errors, this feels like a real life romance

There's no happily ever after, no sweet tie up at the end to show that everything's okay. What's better is it this book series ends with something that looks more like reality. We see elements of reality and that relationships can be messy, even good ones, and well the ending is unsatisfying, it's also a lot more realistic than what is seen in most romances. This romance looks at a long haul, not a short period of time where everything's happy, or even getting over one hurdle. A relationship is not 100-yard dash , with maybe a few hurdles thrown in. It's a marathon with a steeplechase course added on.

The female character is a little bit maddening at times with her absolute inability to get past living with 100% logic, but I really fell in love with the lead male character. However they're both beautifully fleshed out, and most of the side characters are as well.

Throughout this book and the entire series there are some major errors in how the NFL works, and they're painful to someone who is familiar with the game and the league. For a person who's not a football fan this won't be a big deal but for readers who are fanatics, maybe this book isn't for you.

good series overall

I just finished this series, which I would have perfected to have been a single book because as a series each book just kind of stopped. That being said I did appreciate how the characters had real issues and struggles they went through. This being the last book in the series kind of shocked me though because again I felt like it just stopped and didn’t really have any kind of ending or closure. I don’t think I would have bought these books but them being on KU I’m happy I read them I just wish the ending was more of a real ending.

Basically Good, But Clunky Plotting

This series of 5 so called books (they really are Sections of one novel) would greatly benefit from a good editor who excised the kidnapping and other borderline absurd plot elements and expanded the characters' backgrounds and personalities so they aren't one dimensional. This could be a really good 4+ stars book with some hard work tightening the plot and expanding the characterizations. Go to it!

Okay!

I chose this rating because this was an okay book. I really enjoyed all of the characters. This was a book of realizing your mistakes, compassion, kindness, and figuring it out your mess. Pretty good read.

I've read the first five books of A Sports Romance. I was left hanging. Do Katelyn and Blake ever get their happy ever after?

Hit

Blake gets hot by another player and all things seem so minimal. Kaitlyn wasn't sure, but she couldn't resist what her heart wanted. Will they find forever?

A GREAT SERIES

This series was an action packed story. I am impressed with this new author I have found. She wrote a series that should have been condensed into one book. I am like most of the readers, I think you made it into a series for the money
I recommend the story but not in a series. The editing was good.
I will read another one of her books.
