This book was a whole lot of fun! Most of the romances that I have been picking up lately have been okay but none of them really felt like fun. I wanted fun and that is what I got with this little story. This book was sexy, sweet, and funny enough to keep me glued to the pages. It wasn't terribly original but who needs original when you are having so much fun!
This book is the second book in the Chase Brothers series but reads perfectly well as a stand alone. I haven't read anything by Sarah Ballance before reading this book and I didn't feel like I was missing any part of the story. I liked that this book was more of a romantic comedy than I usually encounter. Parts of this book were quite funny and others made me grin.
The main characters in this book were really easy to like. Kelsie is having some terrible luck with men lately not to mention her plumbing. When her neighbor comes to her rescue, she doesn't spend a moment thinking about him romantically since she knows that he is way out of her league. They strike a deal that Chase will help her by showing her a few pointers over the course of seven dates.
Chase has no plans to settle down. His apartment has a revolving door and he likes things the way they are. He is thrown off balance by his neighbor in just about every way. She is nothing like the women he usually goes out with but there is a connection nonetheless. As each lesson is taught and every date completed, the pair learn a little more about themselves and each other.
I liked Kelsie and Chase as a couple. The banter between the pair was really well done and added a whole lot to the story. They had a playfulness between them that was really refreshing to see. I liked the way that their feeling for each other slowly developed over the story. There was a lot of chemistry between the pair from the very beginning of the book and I thought that the sexy bits of the book were well done.
I would highly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. This is the first book by Sarah Ballance that I have had a chance to read but I think I may need to read about some of Chase's brothers that I met in this book. I just hope that their story is as well done as this one.

I'm so glad I got to read this sweet story. I really enjoyed reading it. What can I say, I'm a sucker for slightly broken heroes and their heroines, who at the end help save them from their past demons.
For such a short read, there is a lot going on. I admit, at first I wasn't completely sure I'd like the story, because the whole thing with Sawyer and Kelsie started off with him helping her get a date for her sister's wedding. In the end it all turned out better than I expected.
At first I didn't like Sawyer very much but he slowly got to me. Seeing him fall for Kelsie and not knowing what to do with his feelings was really cute. He was most times than not really jealous and possessive over her and I loved that. I guess that helped me majorly in forgetting his past man-whorish ways. Also seeing him with Kelsie's dog was quite amusing, that little fella sure knew how to show his love for him. ;) What made me really like Sawyer was what he did at the end, to get to his woman, so sweet.
As for Kelsie, she was a very likable character. At first I did feel bad for her and her misfortunate situation but thankfully she had Sawyer come to her rescue. The only thing that I still feel bad for her is her horrible (if not life-threatening) cooking, poor Sawyer. I loved her transformation from this dull and almost boring person to a woman, who knew how to loosen up and simply have fun.
I adored the epilogue and all secondary characters. This book has humor, romance, heartbreak and a bit of angst. Well, of course there is also thankfully a HEA at the end.
Overall is For Seven Night Only a great read that will leave you wishing for more. I highly recommend!

I found the title of For Seven Nights Only to be a little deceptive. It was SEVEN DATES, which spread out over two weeks, not one week. I didn't really connect with these characters. Sawyer was bored and wanted a "challenge" in making Kelsie irresistible (then repeately got jealous when a man would talk to her). While Kelsie (who accepted his "help") was judgmental and questioned basically everything out of Sawyer's mouth. It got old. I mean, I don't think Sawyer really needed to "use lines" on Kelsie if he was so desperate to get laid.

I just love a fun read and when an author can pull that off, it just makes the reading experience so much better. When I read the synopsis on this book, I knew that this author would offer up a great book to review and enjoy.
From the first words I knew this would be a winner. The author gives us part 2 in a series of brothers who are not only tight but work together too. This book features Chase, a self professed manwhore. I love it when an author brings a man to his knees over a woman. You just know this guy is going down, if he can break through her defenses. But it is his own realization that he is falling for her that is the best part.
With plenty of banter and snarky comments between these two, you get the love/hate challenge of a "non-relationship". It is written in a fun, lighthearted manner that includes plenty of humor and enjoyment. I love the process of watching these two become a couple.
The author offers a wonderful romance with a sweet HEA that is not to be missed. Plenty of heat and steam, a funny storyline, and some great character development brings this book into a must read for the romance lover in you.

Once upon a time our heroine was happily in a relationship with the perfect guy. Then to make it better, her little sister starts dating the perfect guy's little brother. It's 'better' until he dumps her, anyway. Time passes. Her sister's relationship grows and moves to marriage. Our heroine is going to be the maid of honor, but has to attend 'pathetically single.'
Our hero loves the ladies. He likes variety. So when our heroine asks for his help in finding a date to 'The Wedding' he agrees to teach her how to land a man. They both know she is the kind of girl who wants a relationship, and he isn't the relationship kinda guy.

Now I’ve read several books by this author already and really liked the sound of this one, so I jumped at the chance to read an ARC of this one. I’m so glad I did! It is a delightful, fun read with great characters fighting their attraction to each other. The lessons set off with the intention of her finding someone else but their attraction really means neither wants her to find anyone else, even if they are fighting it.
The story is packed with fun moments and lots of rule breaking. The characters are believable, charismatic and easy to empathise with because of the brilliant writing style of the author. It was great to have a romance evolving rather than being instant lust, the plot enhanced the reader’s participation in the story, taking them on the journey with the main characters and providing lots of humorous interludes on their roller coaster journey to romance.
Sawyer sets off as a philanderer who is unlikely to ever settle down but he became really cute and possessive but fighting it as the story progressed, As for Kelsie - well I really hope she learns how to cook!
This is a superbly entertaining read with brilliant banter, imaginative interventions, definitely different dates and an enchanting epilogue. Would I recommend it? Well, if you’ve not guessed yet that I totally enjoyed this, I’ll just make it clear and state that this is highly recommended to anyone who enjoys romances that develop with plenty of angst, humour and laughs en route to a well earned HEA.

This is the second book in the Chase brothers series by Ballance and while I enjoyed the first book I definitely liked this one better. It was filled with cute moments and lots of laughs.
Kelsie is pretty much a disaster when it comes to cooking but men come close to second. After he ex breaks up with her it's one bad date after another. While getting ready for a blind date and making dinner he sink leaks into the apartment downstairs.
Sawyer is sitting home when drops of water start to fall from his ceiling. Being the good neighbor that he is goes to help but when he meets Kelsie he only wants to help her out. The promise of seven days to teach her how to get a date with the type of guy she wants but in the process he discovers that he wants to be that guy.
As I said before this story is filled with tons of humor and even funnier banter. We don't see the Chase family much in this book but I did love visiting with the brothers. They have amusing banter and sure know how to get on each other nerves.
My favorite character had to be Kelsie. Although she is classically pretty she doesn't understand her own appeal since her ex did a number on her self esteem. I loved how Sawyer gave her chances to get it back and be completely comfortable with not only him but with herself. She had some funny moments in and out of the kitchen that I couldn't help but laugh and enjoy.
I'm really looking forward to more of this series and getting to know the other brothers better. Hopefully there books will be just as enjoyable.

I just love a book that has fantastic banter between the lead characters, and For Seven Nights Only was filled with just that. It made for a fun read, and did a great job of keeping my attention.
Kelsie was one of those female leads that I found very easy to identify with, and while she may seem like a timid, clumsy uncoordinated young woman, she also has plenty of spunky attitude and individuality. She's quite the opposite of Sawyer who is self-assured and confident, and one hell of a player. But you know what happens when a player meets that one woman who has him coming back for more, and here we get a great dance between these two that really kept me entertained through the whole book.
While the premise of Kelsie and Sawyer spending time together started off a little bit awkward (to me), everything smooths out pretty quickly and I found it pretty amusing watching Sawyer's reactions as his "lessons" with her start paying off. And when things finally heat up between the two of them, you'll want to be prepared with your fans on high...because the words hot and steamy will be front and center from that point on.
The chemistry between these two opposite characters made for a really great story, and it was supported by a wonderful cast of secondary characters--I can't wait to read more of this series so I can find out more about them. For Seven Nights Only was a solid 4-star read for me, and I'd recommend it to any contemporary romance fan (18+ only though for adult language and sexual content).

I really enjoyed For Seven Nights Only.
Both Kelsie and Sawyer were fun, likable characters that had me laughing and totally engrossed with their story. Loved Kelsie's little dog and some of the scene's with Sawyer and Marmaduke or Minidick as Sawyer liked to call him cracked me up.
Overall this was a sweet romance with an enjoyable storyline that will leave you with a heart full of happy feels.
Looking forward to the next book in the Chase Brothers series, I'm hoping we get Ethan's book next ;)

After really enjoying the first book in the Chase brothers series Five Things I Love About You, I was looking forward to another brother meeting his match, and that's definitely the case here. Sawyer's reputation as a player in the game of love is well known, having been caught perhaps one too many times with his latest fling in a public place like in the elevator of the building where he and Kelsie live. So when he comes to her rescue with a plumbing disaster (unable to not help since the leak is into his apartment), she's happy to take his help on that front, but wary of any other suggestions, especially when he scares off her blind date. With no recourse but to accept compensation, Sawyer's offer to get her a new date by teaching her the ins and outs of the dating scene through spending seven evenings together (where he'll show her all the great places to pick up men) is something she can't refuse, since showing up at her sister's wedding solo, with her ex boyfriend in the wedding party is cringeworthy at best. But to her surprise Kelsie finds in Sawyer a depth she didn't expect. And the feeling is mutual - Sawyer's the last person looking for anything resembling commitment yet he finds himself looking forward to the time he spends with Kelsie. When their arrangement is over, will they be able to go back to their neighbourly acquaintance-only relationship?
I loved this story! The banter between Sawyer and Kelsie had me laughing out loud many times as they navigate a friendship and the sexual attraction that's under the surface. Kelsie was great as an opinionated but friendly woman, totally willing herself not to fall for any of Sawyer's lines. She can't cook to save her life, but she still gives it her best effort, to rather humourous consequences. Sawyer is a friendly, somewhat arrogant (I mean, he knows he's good looking and he turns on the charm constantly), but overall a really nice guy (who luckily knows how to cook). Knowing he screwed up Kelsie's date, he really does want to make it up to her. The trouble is he starts to want her to want him. Setting her up to get picked up by other guys gives him a rather uncomfortable feeling, one he's reluctant to identify as jealousy. When they share a kiss, the sparks fly, and suddenly the clothes are coming off and the passion between them results in some super sexy scenes. While Kelsie tries to remind herself that this kind of sex is old hat to Sawyer, the truth is that it's meaningful for them both. There are some great scenes involving Sawyer's family (yay for more Chase brothers!) and it's going to be up to Sawyer to decide whether his feelings for Kelsie are worth breaking his rule of no long term relationships. The conflict is minimal, and we get a great romantic happy ending that suited the story. Highly enjoyable, romantic comedy at its best. 5 stars!

Kelsie was great as an opinionated but friendly woman, totally willing herself not to fall for any of Sawyer's lines. She can't cook to save her life, but she still gives it her best effort, to rather humourous consequences. Sawyer is a friendly, somewhat arrogant (I mean, he knows he's good looking and he turns on the charm constantly), but overall a really nice guy (who luckily knows how to cook). Knowing he screwed up Kelsie's date, he really does want to make it up to her. The trouble is he starts to want her to want him. Setting her up to get picked up by other guys gives him a rather uncomfortable feeling, one he's reluctant to identify as jealousy. When they share a kiss, the sparks fly, and suddenly the clothes are coming off and the passion between them results in some super sexy scenes. While Kelsie tries to remind herself that this kind of sex is old hat to Sawyer, the truth is that it's meaningful for them both. There are some great scenes involving Sawyer's family (yay for more Chase brothers!) and it's going to be up to Sawyer to decide whether his feelings for Kelsie are worth breaking his rule of no long term relationships. The conflict is minimal, and we get a great romantic happy ending that suited the story. Highly enjoyable, romantic comedy at its best. 5 stars!

I absolutely LOVED it!!!
This is one of the best contemporary romances I have read in a while. It was realistic, engaging and had juuuuuust the right amount of spice and humor to keep it very interesting.
Kelsie cracked me up to no end. I loved everything about her. Her dog added some wonderful comic relief to the story at many different times, and had me laughing at loud more than once. Kelsie was just too quirky not to love.
Sawyer, while a player, revealed his vulnerable side to Kelsie and that made him so endearing.
Yes, they had some kind of half-baked arrangement in the beginning, with the "teach me how to date" business, but the they lingered longer, and I loved reading how their their feelings changed towards each other. I am a total sucker for that kind of scenario.
This book was so well-written, and the humor was fantastic. I would not classify this as a romantic comedy by any means, but some of the one-liners had me laughing out loud!
(As an avid romance reader, I also appreciated the many jabs at the cliches used in far too many romance novels)
All in all, I am SO happy I bought this book and would, without hesitation, buy more in this series!!!

Holy hotness on a stick! I LOVE Sawyer's story. There were times where I found myself talking back to the Kindle (don't judge)
All of the characters are very well-written. I could really identify with Kelsie (except for the not being able to cook part LOL). She is self-conscious, hides herself under baggy clothes and seems too uptight to even enjoy life at times. But her change over the course of the story is immense. I love the fact that she enjoys doing physical things (walking her dog, rock climbing, dancing) and yet she is also intellectual. She is a whole package, multi-dimensional. Not just a pretty face and great body that is stereotypical of the genre.
And Sawyer...initially he's a stereotype. Hot and confident, just the man to "awaken" Kelsie's desires...but that is definitely not all there is to Sawyer, even if he himself has a tough time believing that. Damn that man has some game though! If I were Kelsie I certainly wouldn't have been able to hold out that long, that's for sure LOL I could totally understand where she was coming from because Sawyer's words made me melt several times before they even made it to the bedroom. Even though he doesn't like the opera, he still shows his intelligence and a deep love for family that isn't typical of heroes. I loved revisiting all of the brothers in this book.
I also like the short, very firm time frame for the book. Seven dates become a driving factor for both characters and it pushes the story along without rushing through it. You also get to see how intensely life changing that Kelsie and Sawyer are for each other, despite all the obstacles they throw in each other's way. The setting in New York City really helps the time frame along because only in city would you be able to find such a diversity of activities in such close proximity to each other. Without that the story just wouldn't work as well.
So yes, once again Sarah Ballance has given us a story that is sweet, yet panty-melting...and that's even BEFORE the inevitable happens!!

Kelsie has some horrible luck with dates. The fact that she’s heading for a family wedding as her sister’s maid of honor and her ex will be the best man pretty sums up her luck. When Sawyer shows up at her apartment door looking for the water source that’s leaking into his apartment, Kelsie pegs him right away as hot and completely off limits for her. She might hide behind baggy clothes and loser dates, but she knows a player when faced with one – but still… if Sawyer can help her get the hottest date possible for her sister’s wedding, she’d put up with his actions. She never figured that she’d find the answer to her love life in the arms of a helpful neighbor.
When Sawyer headed to the apartment over his to stop a water leak, he never expected to stop his heart as well. Kelsie was a beautiful woman who has so little belief in herself. He could help her with that and the dating troubles. Now if only he’d stop running off every potential guy she might find a date for her sister’s wedding.
For Seven Nights Only is such a fun, charming story. Sawyer is so hot and sexy… and maybe a bit manly clueless as well. Love pretty much comes up and bites him on the butt before he understands just why he’s chasing off all of Kelsie’s dates. Kelsie was so sure that Sawyer was nothing but a player but it doesn’t take long to discover the kind, caring man behind that “serial dater” reputation. This is not an insta-love story, in fact it seems that our couple don’t really like each other from the start – but that changes and watching them fall in love was such fun.
If you’re looking for a fun, engaging love story then this is one you’ll want to check out. Completely enjoyed my time with Kelsie and Sawyer – definitely looking forward to the next Chase Brothers story.

Sawyer Chase is your typical womanizer. Afraid to settle down, he goes through his fair share of women. He meets Kelsie Reed who lives above him after a plumbing disaster. Kelsie is having a hard time. She seems to be in dating slump and is in desperate need of a date for her sister's wedding. Sawyer takes pity on Kelsie and decides he will teach her how to land a man in seven days. What should be only seven dates quickly turns into something more between the two. Can Sawyer overcome is commitment phobia and give Kelsie a chance?
This was a fun and cute book. It's a fast and easy read. I really enjoyed watching Sawyer and Kelsie form their relationship. I found their bickering really cute.
"Clearly you have experience as a womanizing troll, so you must know what men look for."
"I asked the guy in the coffee shop downstairs if he remembered you. Old librarian glasses, wears tapestry."
I enjoyed how they both didn't really like each other at first, but as times goes on and they spend more time together, they really start to know each other and build their relationship. My favorite part of any romance book is the relationship build up. As Sawyer spends more time helping Kelsie, he starts to see her in a new light. Eventually Kelsie and Sawyer take that leap. Sawyer stills has to overcome is own relationship issues, but when he falls, he falls hard.
"The reason I spent my entire life running from relationships wasn't because I didn't want one. It was because I hadn't found you."
"I'm in no position to know what love is, but I want to find out. I want to find out with you."

These Chase brothers are a cute crowd. I enjoyed the first book as well as this book. I like reading about their family and I'm excited to read the next brother's story.

Kelsie has been having a lot of problems in the dating department. She is supposed to have a blind date over for dinner at her apartment but she is the world's worst cook. Not only that but her sink is spraying water everywhere. Her neighbor that lives below her, Sawyer, comes up and saves the day but he would be date sees him there and promptly leaves. She is extremely attracted to Sawyer but knows about his reputation with women. Sawyer isn't used to women not falling all over themselves for him so Kelsie presents a challenge to him. He decides to help her become more approachable with men. They decide that he will take her on 7 dates and teach her "his ways".
I really love series romances that have loving siblings involved. They always end up being a favorite of mine. I loved both of the main characters. Kelsie started out being really unsure of herself and slowly got more and more confident. Sawyer could be extremely sweet one second but then some of the things coming out of his mouth had me rolling my eyes. For being so knowledgeable about women, he could be pretty clueless sometimes. I did get a little tired of Kelsie throwing his promiscuity in his face and telling him to stop using "lines" on her. She made it very difficult for him to even compliment her. You can kind of guess what's going to happen in this story but I didn't think that took anything away from it. I enjoyed his romantic gesture at the end, and loved the epilogue. I just picked up the first one in this series on Amazon because I wanted to read more about the Chase brothers.

This was a super easy and quick romance that was cute and sexy all at the same time. Kelsie and Sawyer lived in the same building and when Kelsie's apartment sprang a leak into Sawyers, their paths crossed. During this interaction it became known that Kelsie considered herself a dating disaster and that she was desperate to find a date to her sister's wedding. Sawyer offered his services and seven dates to find her someone to be her plus one at the wedding. Kelsie knew Sawyer as a playboy and although she promised him that nothing would happen between them, she agreed because she needed some help.
You can guess where this was heading!
I definitely saw where this was going and I was on the money. Even though it was somewhat predictable it was still really cute. Kelsie was an extremely likeable character that I could relate to. I always appreciate a smart woman with mostly good common sense. Sawyer was the bad boy (who wasn't really bad) that we all love to see come to his senses. Together they were easy for me to route for. On top of that, they had chemistry that was sexy and hot.
I would recommend this to readers who enjoy cute romances but don't have a lot of time for reading. This one is a quick one and will leave a smile on your face. I look forward to reading more about the Chase brothers!

Kelsie doesn’t have luck with men, they never stick around long enough for her to maintain a relationship. And so now, poor Kelsie, being the maid of honor at her sisters wedding has no date. This was suppose to be a fun day, but after being dumped, she is single again! And after the meltdown with the ….. She has had enough.
Enters her sexy neighbor, an all round love them and leave them guy, Sawyer. Sawyer meets his neighbor under less than suitable conditions. After their first wet meeting, Sawyer tells Kelsie that he will help her hook and keep a man.
As he tries to teach Kelsie to look and act sexy, Sawyer realizes something, she may just perfect for him, and maybe the rules are meant to be broken. He thinks she is playing hard to get, but spending time with her, he realizes she really is clueless, and adorable, and sexy.
There are plenty of funny moments as Sawyer teaches Kelsie a few lessons. And a couple of funny one liners. The banter is very easy between them. There are a few funny moments with the Chase brothers as well.
I haven’t read the first book, but it makes me want to go meet the first brother. I’m hoping to read a few more brothers in this series.

I loved it! It is funny and interesting book, with lots of laugh-out-loud scenes and some very hot & romantic ones. In my opinion that is the best combination in any book. Kelsie and Sawyer are adorable and all other characters are also likable. I enjoyed it and find it an engaging book from the very beginning until the end.
Sawyer doesn't do relationship. He has never been to a third date. There is only one think he wants from women and as soon a she gets it they're history. But then he meets Kelsie, she is a woman who doesn't know her own charms. She is clueless about her beauty. And currently she is in a bind. So when Sawyer suggests that she gets his help in finding a date she agrees.
Kelsie knows it's not a good idea. Sawyer is extremely good looking and she is not his type at all. What can he possibly find attractive in her when he has a new girl every other day. For Seven Nights Only exceeded my expectations. Without reading the first book of the series, I pretty much was able to get the gist of the happenings with the Chase brothers.
This book focused on Sawyer Chase and his relationship repellent attitude. Mr. One-Night-Only has his world flipped upside down. It all starts with water dripping from the apartment above…
Sawyer meets Kelsie, the tenant whose apartment was causing the drip. Kelsie, down in luck with dating and rendered single due to her ex-boyfriend’s cheating ways, had no clue what was coming her way when meeting Sawyer.
Two total opposites agree to seven dates, with Sawyer as the teacher to help Kelsie get a date (and a man) to her sister’s wedding, where her ex-boyfriend will be the best man.
There’s someone for everyone…
This story was so totally worth being privy to the seven (six) dates and to watch how both characters changed. When realizations of how they feel for each other surpass their deal – it’s game on.

A light hearted romance but it is fairly predictable.
I didn't really feel that Kelsie needed any help in finding men to date. She isn't some hideous frump who simply needs a makeover. She is good looking, intelligent and funny. She has had bad luck with men and needs a date quick to escort her to a wedding.
I didn't really like Sawyer. He can be nice and charming one minute but then spews out some horribly sexually aggressive lines to Kelsie which I didn't like.
I also didn't care for his advice. The first was mundane and safe enough- go take your dog for a walk in the park early in the morning- His thinking was that she'd be less likely to meet guys who were out all night drinking and getting high etc.
His second piece of advice was contradictory- He took her to a nightclub and told her to stand in the middle of the dance floor and touch herself.

I didn't really feel that Kelsie needed any help in finding men to date. She isn't some hideous frump who simply needs a makeover. She is good looking, intelligent and funny. She has had bad luck with men and needs a date quick to escort her to a wedding.
I didn't really like Sawyer. He can be nice and charming one minute but then spews out some horribly sexually aggressive lines to Kelsie which I didn't like.
I also didn't care for his advice. The first was mundane and safe enough- go take your dog for a walk in the park early in the morning- His thinking was that she'd be less likely to meet guys who were out all night drinking and getting high etc.
His second piece of advice was contradictory- He took her to a nightclub and told her to stand in the middle of the dance floor and touch herself.

This is the first book I have read by this author and found it to be an enjoyable story. While it is the second book in the series, I didn't feel like I missed out on anything or was lost because I didn't read the first book in the series. All of the characters are well written. I enjoyed the relationship between Sawyer and his brothers. I also enjoyed Kelsie's character because she had spunk and wasn't afraid to stand up for herself during her arrangement with Sawyer. The story line moved along at a nice pace, and I enjoyed the dialogue between Kelsie and Sawyer. There were plenty of places in the story where I found myself chuckling or smiling at what was happening between the two of them. There was plenty of chemistry but there were also some cute moments as well. I especially enjoyed Kelsie's attempts at cooking. The author also did a good job of introducing the remaining brothers and writing them in such a way that the reader will look forward to their stories.

I have definitely added Sarah Ballance to my list of favorite authors. I was immediately enamored with these characters. The chemistry is amazing and the characters are relatable. A storyline that is fun and endearing.
Kelsie does not have much luck in the dating department. As a matter of fact her last date just threw flowers in her floor and walked out. Which I'm sure had nothing to do with water and a shirtless man in her kitchen. Her cooking is atrocious but she is sweet and has a big heart.
Sawyer is a one night stand man. He doesn't do relationships they include drama and he hates drama. When he goes upstairs to see about a leak he discovers a woman who he thinks needs his help. So after a few awkward moments and an even worse meal he makes a proposition to help her out.
The deal becomes more than either expected but it's only seven dates and he doesn't do relationships anyway....right?
This story is a sweet sexy romp filled with humor. The characters are amazing and I hope to see more about them. Definitely a must read!!!

This was my first time reading Sarah Ballance and it will not be the last. Having not read the first book in the series, I had no problem with following the story. Although now I'm going to be reading all the books in this series about these brothers who not only work together, but are a very tight loving family. This book had great chemistry, lots of humor and steamy sex scenes.
Sawyer meets Kelsie when her sink leaks into his apartment. After helping her with the sink and ruining her blind date, he volunteers to give her 7 dates to learn how to get the right man. Will it be Kelsie who's learning about dating and love or will it be Sawyer who gets the lesson of the heart?

This short contemporary romance follows two people in their late twenties as they attempt to change their opinions of love and each other. Living in the same apartment building as Sawyer, Kelsie has noticed the number of revolving women that come out of his apartment. Sawyer is dead set against a relationship and his first impression of Kelsie is that she is way too much drama for him, but he agrees to help her find a date for her sister's upcoming wedding in only seven nights. This is an enjoyable romance if not a bit predictable. I liked Sawyer's character throughout but Kelsie is annoyingly obtuse at times and very stubborn in her opinions of Sawyer. This one is better than book one. It’s a cute, quick and somewhat quirky read. The plot has been used many times before, but there are a few fresh twists in this one. There is a lot of fun and witty banter between Sawyer and Kelsie. There’s also plenty of snark. The storyline isn’t new, but Kelsie and Sawyer make it seem fresh. Once again, the Chase parents are adorable, especially when they apologize in advance for the stupid things their sons are about to say. The interactions between the brothers are more than entertaining and half the fun. There is a lot packed into this book, and it’s all fun.

Sawyer and Kelsie are no disappointment. Kelsie has very little self confidence, covers her body in ridiculous clothes and can't cook to save her life.
Sawyer is a play boy, different woman every night, no second dates. He can help Kelsie, but can he protect himself and his image?
The banter between the two is fun and playful. it flips from being rude to helpful to sexually charged. making a great read that keeps your interest

I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book two in the Chase Brothers series. We have Kelsie who needs some dating help and Sawyer a playboy with a fear of water. This was a pretty good read. The story was slow to begin but ended up okay. It was full of some steamy fun action. I did enjoy learning more about sawyer but I just did not love it.

In theory, Sawyer means to teach Kelsey, but in the end Sawyer is the one who learns the most. A nice story, quick and easy to read.
