Emma: Part Three

Rate this book
Called to duty in the middle of the night, Jack and Max are forced to leave Emma behind on Outpost 9. Dropped into a hellish war zone of fire and zombies, the two cyborgs are separated when Max volunteers for a dangerous rescue mission.

With the help of Emma’s friends, Max survives the chaotic hours that follow—and learns a dark secret about Emma’s family, a secret that threatens their happiness and the family they’re trying to build.

When Jack receives orders that will take him far away, Max vows to keep Emma safe while he’s gone. Whatever the cost, whatever the risk, he’ll protect their mate.

But while her men have been away, Emma has garnered the attention of a cyborg scientist who belongs to a shadowy covert operations team. Locked away in an interrogation room, she’s told a shocking secret—and faces an impossible decision.

To save Jack and Max, she’ll have to risk her own life. This time? It’s Emma’s turn to be brave.

About the author

Lolita Lopez

While browsing bookstore shelves as a teenager, Lo discovered the erotic writings of Anaïs Nin and A.N. Roquelaure. Certain her mother would not approve, Lo smuggled the books home and squirreled them away in the most likely of places: under her bed. Late at night, she delved into the sensual worlds both writers created.

As a co-ed studying biochemistry and genetics at Texas A&M University, Lo dabbled in creating naughty tales to entertain her friends. Study for a midterm or pen a deliciously dirty story to delight her small band of fans? Not surprisingly, Lo is now on an extended sabbatical from college.

Luckily, Lo stumbled onto the world of erotic romance publishers. She realized there were other readers and writers who loved and craved breathtaking romance with the spiciest of love scenes. She took a chance and submitted her first novella. The rest is history.

Lo lives in Texas with her family and beloved Great Dane, Bosley.

I started reading this series in December 2014 with the promise that the installments would be published in a timely manner. I think it's very important that authors keep their promises. If they can't meet a release date then it's better not to give dates at all. I know this author has had great difficulty meeting her promised obligations. I decided to give her one last chance. Unfortunately I've been let down again. I've waited a year for part 3. At the end of part 3 Ms. Lopez indicated that part 4 would be released in December and part 5 in January. This hasn't happened. Then again she never specified which _year_ the installments will be released.

So sad. I've enjoyed her and purchased nearly all her books but I'm done being strung along.

Don't know what it is about this series that I like so much. I'm not into menage... got tired of that trend in romance pretty quick. But these books make it work. I hate serials, but I find myself really bummed that I have to wait for the next one, because yes, this is yet another cliffhanger. I also HATE ZOMBIES, but they don't play a big part except as the bugaboo that will get you if you leave the compound without enough guns! Not into horror and not big on suspense stories either. But somehow these books just hook me and reel me right in. I like the characters. I love the intrigue as the author obviously puts some thought into it. The men and and sex is HOT and the heroine, Emma is kick ass and smart to boot. No TSTL moments for her! Plus it's a soap opera, which I usually hate, but I still l so look forward to the next and hope it doesn't take the author as long to write it ; )

Great!!

I have been waiting for this episode for a while the author dealt with health problems. Now, normally I abhor serials as well as zombie novels. But with a talented author like Lolita Lopez I definitely make an exception. I really enjoy her characters and love her writing style. Can't wait to hear the rest of Max, Jack and Emma's story. If you haven't read these books I really encourage you to buy them and read them!

Loved it

I just loved this book and the way the author knows how to keep your attention. The storyline doesn't disappointed and the characters are awesome. It has fear, pleasure, action, passions, with steamy love scenes? A must buy and keep them coming; they are highly entertaining series.

I started to read this series mostly because I enjoyed the "Grabbed" series so much. While futuristic zombie filled books really aren't something I'm normally attracted to in a book, this story sucked me right in and I can't wait for the next book! It's been WAY too long!

Yes, yes, I do understand the reasons for the author's delay! ***Please don't smack me! I'm just impatient.***

The long awaited part three was totally worth the wait. Now am anxiously waiting for the next two. As soon as she compiles them all into one long book i will probably buy it, right now am enjoying the kindle unlimited release.

Love it. Please release both Grabbed and Emma. Missing in action for 12 months. What's the hold up? Come on.

I really like this series but I don't think the rest of it is coming anytime soon and that's a shame!
